Lo Imperdonable #83 Thu 9/10/15 The bombs keep dropping
Hello, Caray mates
Unfortunately, I have some bad news - I won't be able to post a recap, because some friends from out of town dropped by to visit us before the little one is born and I have to entertain them at least until my husband is back home. They were supposed to come tomorrow, they kind of surprised us with their arrival, so I'm a little all over the place right now.
I'm so sorry, guys, especially since these episodes have been rather good.

Mati is dead. She raises her hand in farewell from a cloud of white before setting out on the highway to heaven. But Vero's prayers are heard...
And Mati is alive! It's a miracle! And Virginia is sooooooo screwed.
Before leaving for Paris, Mariana carries out her promise. Her special delivery letter reaches Vero at the hospital. Vero now has confirmation that Virginia was indeed Demetrio's lover and was and continues to be Dr. F's squeeze. The best part of all: Mariana reveals that Dr. F and Virginia were faking the heart condition all along!
Vero is so furious that she slaps Virginia hard. [Do it again, Vero!] Vero passes the letter around and each member of the circle now has proof of Virginia's perfidy.
Jorge now puts his foot down. He demands that Virginia leave his house. Much to his exasperation, Salma continues to protect and defend Ginny. "You act as if she were really your daughter!" cries Jorge. "She is my daughter!" answers Salma. Oho!
Marty roughs up Dr. F a little (not nearly enough). Then a hospital administrator fires Dr. F. for his unprofessional and immoral whoopy-making with a patient. It isn't just Vero's word, the man tells him. Several nurses have seen him smooching Ginny.
Emi and Marty agree on a kind of truce. They will fight fair and square for ownership of the alpha female, i.e., Verónica.
Manuel prevails on the Old Goat to stay in Mexico City a little longer. He has a solution to their problems, a way that the OG can return to the Mina Escondida without shame. (We know his solution is to abort AP's baby.)
Julio manages to get the Old Goat's permission to take Ana Perla to church. Pablo follows them and gets into a scuffle with Julio. Ana Perla almost tells Pablo about the pregnancy, but maddeningly, does not. She continues to break Pablo's heart. Julio is growing bolder and more hopeful. Ana Perla is learning to walk on high-wedged city-girl shoes.
During her siesta, Claudia dreams of her Martincito. Pierre, with his newly-shorn baby face, hears her call out the name of his rival; and even worse, hears her say she loves him.
Ramón puts the moves on Nanciyaga. She is not amused.
Gaby brings Joaquín some quesadillas and tells him he'd be So Easy to Love. Meanwhile, Blanquita warns Raymunda that if she keeps putting the Old Goat ahead of her husband's needs, she may be putting her marriage in jeopardy.
Raymunda tells Blanquita that she must forget about nursing school. Blanquita isn't ready to accept defeat. She sneaks out of the apartment so she can check out one of the schools herself.

Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #12 Wed 9/9/15 (Mex14-15) Federica is a pretty awful person
Here we go!
We get a little refrito from last nights episode, Eloisa says her goodbyes to Fifi and Pedro reminds our dear Fifi of the rules: she's to stay in the employee area, and she can't continue to have mishaps or make mistakes because he does not think she'll be lucky enough to retain her job if she keeps screwing up, for now her job is secure. He tells her that he will ask that Joaquina be the one to issue her her work orders, then he leaves.
In the living room the family is in awe that someone was able to make Eloisa laugh, it had been years since anyone heard her laugh the way she did with Fifi. Fifi tries to find her way out of the big house and everyone sees her, once she makes her exit Anibal says that Fifi really is very pretty- Julieta walks in then and everyone fills her in on what's happened- but Julieta still does not like Fifi, especially because her husband was a wandering eye. Roxy takes a few jabs at Sonia, telling her she lacks the intelligence and wit to ever make anyone laugh, Osvaldo comes to his wife defense but Sonia tells him not to worry, everyone knows that Roxy has "issues"- an eating disorder is mentioned. Man, these people suck.

Yo No Creo En Los Hombres Capitulo 42 Wed 9/9/15 Highlights
Hello, I am just putting up highlights for this episode due to personal obligations. I will try to post something more tomorrow.
- Dan dissapears to Holy Nowhere refusing to marry Ivana out of a newly found sense of care for MD. Ursula tries to bring him back but this only provokes Maly to laugh and cheer as if she was on a football game. Later Dan has been found sleeping in a hotel but supposedly the hosts don't respect their customer's privacy cause Dan is brought home dead drunk . Arango and Isidro had to make him ready for his downfall.
- Isela unwillingly lets out that she actually likes sleeping with Bustamante but Josefa can never be happy and begins screaming, shouting and making aggressive taunts to Isela. If Isela ever betrays Josefa, the Heifer is sure to show her a slice of what paradise looks like.
- Ivana starts experiencing paranoia as she hears the screams of a baby just outside the doors( It turns out it was the servant's baby. At first she screams at him but later takes care of him. Ivana later get's dressed for the wedding with the shaved Gerry offering as her escort! ( He looks better when not shaved just to be honest.) . We later learn that Ivana is going to dump Dan at the altar, just like Dan dumped MD. Her cruel plan of vengeance appears to be functioning.
- Ursula and Arango were talking and we got a new twist for the night dun dun dun : They were NEVER in the ruin!! All was done for shit'z and giggles ( Well we did not get explicit details on the how's and why's but it was mentioned by the somewhat nice looking Arango. Yes he looks better than Josefa.)
- Doris and Orlando inevitably begin budding even closer as Orlando sends her a serenade on phone which was planned by Max, Leo and Orlando ( Family Morales glees, Julian yawns and Josefa pushes Isela back to her Room of Hell in which she begins silently sobbing.). Max had also given MD a very hot dress that made her look non-poor .
- Everyone arrives at the wedding and not everyone is in their best nerves as Maly starts getting anxious about Max arriving with his seamstress GF so Claudio offers to clean it all up. MD herself is also not convinced if she should stay but Max promises her Sev's Heaven's AKA everything will be just fine. Max and Dan almost get into a fight but it somehow get's interrupted when Claudio yells at Max to talk with him.

When we left AP and Pablo last night she was about to confess that she was pregnant but changes her mind. She begs him to leave and he does. Blanquita comes in and AP tells her that her heart is breaking because she will never see Pablo again. Outside, Pablo says he does not know what AP meant when she said that there was something that would link them together, yet pull them apart. He will investigate and find out the truth.
In Vero's bedroom Emi chooses the day of his wedding to Ginny to tell Vero that he never stopped loving her. That he wants to love and protect her. Seriously dude? Anyway, he asks for an opportunity, but Vero refuses, saying she has been left empty, she can never love again. He keeps insisting.

Amores con Trampa #117 and #118 Wednesday and Thursday 9/9/15 and 9/10/15
Amores con Trampa #117
This was a "just the facts" kind of night.
And so we start another night's story with Rocío chatting with Isabel in the Velasco's living room. Isabel says she overheard Rocío talking with her uncle Santiago and did not know she was still working with María. Rocío tells her about going to a meeting with Frederick. Isabel thanks her for confiding in her. Rocío hopes that things between the two of them just improve so they can be a happy family.
Florencio takes a seat at a table in a bar where all of his pals are drinking and playing cards. He is visibly upset and rattled as he pours himself a shot. He changes the topic of the conversation to the very stubborn Pantera. They all chime in with what they think of her: she is single and lonely. Florencio thinks she needs a man to tame her.
Rocío is on her way out and Alberto sneaks up on her on horseback. They chit chat and he calls himself a "salvaje ranchero" ( savage rancher). She tells him that that savage rancher has made her the happiest woman in the world. He wants her to get on the horse with him and go for a ride. She says okay as long as she gets to a meeting with Frederick in half an hour. No problem is Beto's response. The next thing you see is Beto and Rocío riding in a park. Rocío admits she gets antsy about making it to her work meeting.

Lo Imperdonable #81 Tue 9/8/15 Virginia gets revenge
For the record, Princess Juju and Eli are one and the same!
Here we go:
We pick up where we left off last night, crazy Marty corners Ginny and goes off on her, like it's her fault that he came up with a crazy plot to marry a woman to make her suffer- he seems to forget that that was ALL him. Anyhoo, Marty just gave Ginny the best wedding gift ever! Because if she's going down in flames, she's not going alone.
Marty stays behind in the garden and Ginny slithers back into the house, and she drops the bombshell, she tells Veronica that in the interest of honesty there's something she should know: Martin married her because he wanted revenge for Demetrio's death. He had decided to marry her before he even met her. Veronica throws the glass she was holding against the wall with such force that we know the depth of her anger. Marty is going to have a very bad night. Ginny pulls a Judas and kisses Vero on the cheek, then she strolls away, she's probably on her way to kill kittens and burn orphans.

Yo No Creo En Los Hombres #41 Tue 9/8/15: Hit The Road Jack! Or Something Like That
Max and Maria Doloris’s seriously dating has put a serious dent in the evening’s epicurean event. Max’s parents tell Maria Doloris and family that they’re totally opposed to having Max become seriously involved with a scheming criminal like her. Esperanza and Max both defend her and her daughters’ upbringing and fight the accusations once again as baseless. They leave with their heads held high. Max tells Alma and Claudio they had no right to humiliate decent people like that. Claudio insists they’re not so decent, really.
Claud
goes off on Alma for not telling him ahead of time about their son. She begs off saying if Maleny hadn’t just
shown up with the news she might have had a chance. He tells Leo and Clara that he’s not upset
with their relationship and it can continue.
Clara says nope: love me, love my dog--and all its fleas. Thanks
but no thanks!
Doris
drops by while Ari is dripping venomous veracities all around Orlando about Isela
dumping him for her boss. She snubs Ari
who tries to make a dinner date with her.
She takes Orly by the hand and tells him he’s a turd for believing Ari’s
trash talk instead of enjoying his honeymoon.
Ise spent the night at her place—NOT with her boss!

Ah, Fiorella, stop dreaming. No, wait, don't stop dreaming, we need more swoony stuff!
"Gianna! Why are you telling everyone we came from Italy?!" Uh, she's kidding, right? Gianna's proud of herself for making up a great story on the fly, but Fiorella instructs her in the fine art of lying…keep it simple! They're just the daughter's of an old employee of Pedro's, that's all. Simona comes in with a stack of bed linens and even some sleepwear, since they lost their luggage. And a cute uniform for Fi, and some extra clothes, since she knew they wouldn't have any. As she offers Fi dinner and says she'll bring some fruit and tea by later, Gianna is curling up on the bare mattress and has conked right out. Simona thinks she and Fi will get along just fine! Sure, as long as you don't push her over too hard! I'm disappointed we won't see the attempt to get the bed made around the sleeping Gianna.

Lo Imperdonable #80 Mon 9/7/15 Virginia channels Lenny Bruce (Deny! Deny! Deny!)
Where we left off on Friday –
- Ana Perla has just shocked her family, though not the Patio, by falling in a dead faint.
- Botel has called Virginia's bluff, offering an ambulance and a medical work-up for her latest attack of the vapors.
- All the extras have left the church.
- Unbeknownst to Salma, the priest has arranged for the food from the cancelled reception to be distributed to local soup kitchens.
Now the new stuff –
Salma worries that they may have made the wrong decision. Is Botel sure that Virginia is going to be okay? Botel is wearing his usual aggressively plaid shirt, so we know he's not a guy to mince words:
Señora, si de verdad se sintiera muy mal, hubiera aceptado ir al hospital.
(Madam, if she really felt very ill, she would have agreed to go to the hospital.)
Virginia herself seems bored with that particular tragedy queen routine. She already told them an ambulance wasn't necessary. Sheesh!

Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #10 Mon 9/7/15 (Mex 11-12) Fiorella, I love you!
Dante, on horseback, has poor Gianna at his mercy but we are made to go back inside the Big House at El Rancho Los Angeles (ERLA) to witness the aftermath of Eloisa’s dressing down of Sonia about her “convenient” miscarriage.
“You aren’t man enough to protect me from the witches in
this family!” screams Sonia as she
confronts Osvaldo in their bedroom.
Osvaldo is decidedly not supportive, mimicking her manner of speech and
even telling Sonia she asks for it! Sonia
sits down heavily on the bed and asks Osvaldo why he ever got interested in
her. Ah, don’t start, he replies. Sonia deserves an answer: she
dropped her career for him! He sees this
differently as well: SHE dropped her
career because she got pregnant and even implies this was meant to entrap him. Sonia splays her hands helplessly. He died!
You remember how it happened! He
died. Osvaldo finally seems to connect
to Sonia’s pain and is silent.
Russian, one of Dante’s security dudes, has Gigi in his
office. Multi-display monitors show feeds from closed circuit cameras placed around the ranch. Gigi is breathless and tearful as she tells
Russian that Pedro asked her and her sister to come to Rancho Los Angeles. Russian calls Dante on the walky talky and he
orders Russian to hold her until the police arrive. Gigi begs to be let go to find her
sister. She tells him she feels very
badly and dizzy because of her illlness.
Russian doesn’t believe her and tells her to stop lying and complaining!
We cut briefly to a frantic Fiorella, crying and screaming
Gianna’s name. She is distraught: they have her because she brought her here!

Isela told
Ho-sefa to forget the revenge. Claudio had terminated their
relationship and her employment. He was going back to his wife and
suggested that she marry Orlando. Ho-sefa couldn't believe her
daughter would do this to her. Isela said she loved her but could
not do what she demanded. She was going to marry Orlando because she
loved him and wanted him to be the first man in her life. She should
have said that ages ago. But Ho-sefa said she would take care of
things. Isela realized that meant trouble.

Amores Con Trampa #115 and #116 Monday & Tuesday 9/7/15 and 9//8/16
Looks like Esteban is getting a little anvil action early. And dare I make a conjecture? Will Maria and Rocio save them all?
Maria tells Jacinto and Susana that she is going to forgive Facundo. They are thrilled.
Unfortunately, when Maria goes to meet with Facundo La Pantera has got him in a compromising position. It’s horse crap. No, literally. She stepped in horse crap. (I believe Fac later called it calabaza de caballo) He chases after Maria. He falls and gets run over by a burro.
Meanwhile in the DF, Rocio has returned. She had been staying at the boutique. Carmen, studying in the Carmona dining room sees the homecoming from the window. She runs right over to the Velascos and tells Rocio that Maria has left for the country and it’s all Rocio’s fault. Florencio decides maybe he and Isa better cancel the trip to his rancho.
Pelancha is glued to the set and tonight’s episode of AI3. The doorbell rings. Feli sarcastically tells her he’ll get the door, don’t get up. Clueless, Pelancha thanks him and tells him to be careful. There have been a lot of assaults in the neighborhood. It’s Francis. [There goes the Francis Free episode streak...Where is Diego?] Francis wants to go to the movies with Feli. The last thing Feli wants to do is go to the movies with Francis.
Jacinto and Susana are on a hunger strike because Maria didn’t get back together with Fac. Maria sends them off to their rooms. Humilde hears a car. Perpetua thinks maybe it’s Fac and Maria says not to let him in. It’s Carmen and Rocio. Rocio heard about Maria’s problems with Fac. She insists that none of this is Fac’s fault.

Celia, the novela based on the life of the incomparable Cuban singer Celia Cruz, continues to tantalize us with promos promising a premiere muy pronto. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed.
Avenida Brasil continues at 8pm/7C.
D.C. La Biblia Continúa premieres on Sunday, September 13 at 9pm/8C. Will this one bump into Bajo el mismo cielo? If you know, please speak up!

We begin with Vero on the phone with Mati. Vero enlists Mati in "Plan Unmask (or in this case Unveil) Ginny" and wants her to gather up all the letters and photos. Vero wants to use them against Virginia and clear her own name. Mati is more than willing to help out. Vero warns her to be careful with Virginia because she's capable of the worse.
Over at the San Telmo offices, Marty is pouring out his heart to Botel. Marty was blinded by his desire for revenge and refused to listen to his heart. Now he doesn't know if Vero will forgive him. We now hear some wise advice from Botel "In order to find forgiveness, one has to forgive themselves." he tells Marty. "Will you be able to forgive yourself for causing Vero so much pain?" Botel asks Marty. "I don't know, you can't even imagine the pain that I feel for all that I have made her suffer, and now I don't know if I will lose her forever." Marty replies.

At the PC mansion, Mati turns the corner of the hallway leading to Virginia's room and stops dead in her tracks when she sees the Viper herself standing at her door with Mariana. Mariana had been telling Virginia her plans about moving to Paris to get over Pablo dumping her. When Virginia notices Mati's presence, she rudely dismisses Mati telling her to get lost. Mariana leaves as she makes a rude face at Mati.

Once she gets his dirty drift, Fifi tells Fabio off! How dare he! She wouldn’t go with him for a million Euros! She makes him get up and leave her table! Lordo! (Gross) Maleducato! (Rude)
Sergio and Julieta advocate for Roxana but Granny stands
firm. Roxana has gone too far: trying to
seduce Gael, she dresses like a tramp; she made a drunken fool of herself in
front of the prospective business associates and disrespects her in her own house!
In an adjoining room, Federica, who helped fan the flames of
this fire with the picture she posted of Gael helping Roxana with her button,
suggests Gael go to defend Roxana.
Granny Eloisa likes a firm and decisive man, like Pedro.
It will earn him brownie points!
Gael goes right to the task.
Granny ain’t having it and asks Gael if he has a cognitive
disability: No second chances! Roxana is through. Just then Roxana rolls into the living room
with her suitcases and is still flippant until Granny tells her that her credit
cards will be cancelled! Roxana can’t
believe it. Granny doesn’t care and
wishes her luck in her new life. Maybe
she can get a job being a stripper! This
finally wipes the smirk off Roxy’s face.
Gael, Sergio, Osvaldo, Sonia and Julieta look on helplessly as Roxy
leaves. Sergio thinks they should’ve
tried harder.

A little bit of what happened yesterday
Jorge is dividing his fortune, giving Emi the
biggest portion, because he will be in charge of the company, too. Veronica
refuses to take any money, but Jorge won’t hear of it. After the men leave,
Virginia attacks Veronica, accusing her of being after the money – why else
would she accept, if she already has a gold mine? Vero gives back as good as she receives,
but poor Virginia doesn’t have a rich husband, so she’s only looking after
herself. Salma defends Virginia, obviously, and Vero warns her that she will one
day be sorry to have protected this alacran (scorpion).
They continue to exchange insults until Jorge
comes back to invite everyone (and Martin) to lunch. Vero has to pass, though,
she and hubby are leaving for Cancun, for their belated honeymoon.
At the hospital Pablo and his mom talk about
his therapy. She wants to know as much as possible about the treatments, so she can help. Pablo is still holding onto AP’s ring, he misses her
every day and dreams about her every night. And no, he can’t resign himself – that
would be worse than death. Mom thinks that AP’s family will never forgive him,
and neither will AP, because he lied to her and who can blame AP under the circumstances?

Good morning patio peeps, here goes your recap! It's gonna have to be quick because I'm short on time!
I'm going to skip the old and get to the new, but let me just add that if anyone called my significant other "incompetent and mediocre", well, let's just say someone would be in need of some serious medical care.
Fifi gets bad news:
The doctor at the hospital has informed her that Gigi must get proper medical care, she needs to continue with her treatment and she needs to live some where calm, with fresh air- if Fifi does not take decisive action Gigi will die! Fifi has no money to take Gigi anywhere but the doctor tells her she must act!

Yo no Creo En Los Hombres Capitulo 37 Wed 9/2/15
Attention: Due to me returning to school my writing schedule may change. Sometimes I may just put up highlights or a discussion page. The school year is just 4 months long ( So it ends around January) but in exchange there is more pressure put on us. Now without further ado :

We return back to the glorious Max&MD kiss but this time there no bags dropped. MD refuses the kiss due to her doubts about being pregnant with Dan. Max says that there is absolutely no problem with that because he loves everything about her.
Speaking about slimes Ursula thanks the almost drunk Dan about accepting Arango to work with Dan as his assistant in the company. But that is going to be hard with Ivana floating around and for no reason can she learn the truth. Dan believes that just a simple apology could solve their problem but Ursula correctes him quickly that this just ain't gonna work Slimeboy! Dan says that he doesn't have any other choice but Ursula proposes him to make MD pregnant and take her baby but make no mistake, I did not say that you lovebirds could get back together. With this the family will salvage itself from adopted outsiders and keep the fortune in blood.
Claudio sat in the bedroom somewhat disturbed thus Alma comes for disaster control. Claudio tells her that he and Max will support Orlando during the investigation. Alma is pithed because now Leo will return to that nasty town once again OH NO! She also cannot believe that Claudio is inviting these same folks for dinner when she has heard Julian mentioning the provoked accident. Claudio calms her down saying that the investigators will dig out the needle out of heifers and Leo is now working in his office anyway. This is the last time they are hosting a dinner for the poor folks says Claudio ( As the recapper waves his head around in a loud "Nah". Lesson: Do not trust any promises or deals until the Fin rolls.)
Dan laughs at his mommy dearest for believing that MD would let it all happen without a fight. And he doubts that Ivana would accept it as he pleads Claudia, the maid for a new bottle to waste ( Let's hope it has anthrax in it. Not the rat poison because Dan is most likely has an immunity to it) . Ursula thinks otherwise, many women raise kids that are out of marriage and Ivana is no different.
The same Ivana is observing a cradle that was supposed to fit her now aborted child and begins sobbing uncontrollably as Susana is watching close by . Ivana at least did not break the cradle, that would be a darn shame.
Claudio has apparently phoned Isela but he has to go now cause ya know my wife is waiting for me in bed Yack! Isela tells him to take care. Josefa is hearing it all by laughing with her tongue of dirt and seems to be proud over Isela's charming prowess because now Claudio 's interest in her widened over just being bed company. Isela agrees but it almost fell apart due to Julian nicking in her buisness but she has fixed that. But too darn bad that Claudio did not fire him because his sons would riot on the streets "Injustice!, Injustice!, Injustice!" . Isela will also have to support seeing Leo at work but Josefa tells her that it aint so bad because with her charm Isela could beg Claudio to fire her and buy her a nice new apartment! Isela doubts it because if Claudio discovers that Josefa was behind Leo's accident , there will be no benefits for Josefa other than a cold fridge.
Speaking of Julian, he has just had his fancy dinner with Jenny. She tries to comfy all up but instead they have a cute dance. I couldn't get much what Julian was saying but he still treats Jenny as a friend. A morning later he goes out to work but not before Vermin taunting him that he may have done something else than dining. Plus MD and Max were a bit busy last night. Honoria says that MD was just paying Max for his services.

Marty, Vero, Maggie and Botel say their goodbyes at the door of the hotel. Vero tells Marty she loves that he is taking her on a trip for their honeymoon and thanks him for making her so happy. They kiss and Marty goes to get the car while Vero waits at the entrance. At the hospital AP tells Eleazar that if she had known who he was she wouldn't have told him all her troubles. He tells her that his intension was just to help her. Pablo sees them talking and watches them walk down the hallway with Gramps. He tells his mother that he needs to find out who that guy is. She tells him to concentrate on his recovery and how his life will change if he regains movement in his hand. María sure is not only because of what he did to Beto but also he offended her with his accusations about Florencio. Facundo wants Perpétua to put in a good word for him with María. Nope.He then does a Carmen imitation begging her with the "por fa, por fa" routine. Perpétua tells him María has every right to feel like she does and covers her ears.
At the same time next door Isabel is doing her own "poor favor" begging at her bedroom door where Santiago is locked inside just stewing. He won't let her in. She doesn't know what she did.

Amores con trampa: a message for the patio
This is a message for my fellow viewers on the patio. Your fellow viewer Jarifa is going to try her hand tonight as a "regular" (as compared to itinerant?) recapper, so to speak, by posting her own recap. After three years on the patio, I have decided to take the plunge. Sara has been instrumental in this decision by giving me the opportunity to try out recapping with this telenovela for which I am grateful. She has been a wonderful mentor. At this time I do not know when the recap will be up since it will be posted in its entirety. It could be tomorrow morning. I am not tech savvy at all so much of this posting "stuff" is new to me. Lo Imperdonable #76 Tue 9/1/15 Lies, sex and videotape
Bullets cause it's been a long week!
- Ana Perla continues to cry over Pablo, Pablo's mom tells her that her son had broken up with Mariana but that Mariana won't listen and continues to stalk Pablo.
- Ana Perla and Pablo talk, he says they can still marry, hell, the hospital has a chapel and they can marry there but AP has a flash back to Manuel saying he would kill Pablo and tells him that she wants nothing more to do with him. Ummm, there's a simple solution to this: Send Manuel to prison!
- Salma finds out that Maggie is Veronica's mother, later she learns from Jorge everything that Maggie went through and she feels like a jerk for saying awful things to Maggie, she vows to apologize.
- Jorge asks Veronica to take the money he is offering, Vero says she's a partner in the goldmine, she still has the money he gave her when she married and she has an education, she can make a decent living and have a good life, but Jorge insists- she's his daughter and will get the portion she deserves, which leads to:

Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #6 Tue 9/1/15 Dear Diary
Pedro hears the neighbors saying that Tania jumped and wondering if it was because of the soccer player. He remembers Tania saying that if he rejected her and the (fake) baby, she would die of sadness. Fiorella looks around and sees him. In a flash, Fidel has dragged Pedro back towards the car. Diana finally arrives and Adela tries to keep her from looking. Fiorella cries that Signorina Tania was so in love with Signore Pietro. Across the street, Fidel comforts Pedro, saying [HISTORY ALERT!] he knows this reminds Pedro of his mother. Fidel says he'll find out what's going on, but it's not good for the family or Eloisa to find out. Diana finally approaches the body and says Tania's boyfriend must have rejected her again--she always wanted more and more from him. But he could never give her what she needed. Fidel gives Pedro the car keys and insists he get out of there. Fidel will stay in case someone needs help. Fiorella cries that Pedro has a heart of stone. "How could he be so cruel to the woman who loved him?"

Lo Imperdonable #75 Mon 8/31/15 The Hero, the Reunion, and the Mouse That Roared
The optimists in Mina Escondida are betting that Manuel is a goner. Uspín, however, is sure the mutt is going to live. Mala hierba nunca muere, he says. (Weeds never die.)
And it looks like he's right. At the Hospital Ce_ter, Manny has regained consciousness. He's weak, he's pale and he's full of hate. He tells Ana Perla he'll only spare Pablo's life if she stays away from him forever.
Meanwhile Marty guides his motorcycle to the curb in front of the Disgusting Boys' hotel and pulls out his walkie-talkie. Inside the building, Aarón leads Verónica to the room where Clemente has been keeping watch over Magdalena. Vero rushes to her. And now mother and daughter are both prisoners of the Disgusting Brothers! Fortunately, Verónica's hair looks fabulous.

Pedro makes it clear to Tania that he is NOT pleased that
she hired Fifi who is in the foreground busily mopping the floor. How could she trust a perfect stranger in her
home!? Their situation is “delicate” and
needs to be handled with absolute discretion!
Tania sends Fifi to tidy up her bedroom so she and Pedro can talk in
private.
Fifi trots off happily enough but the privacy part is a fail
as she blatantly listens just inside Tania’s bedroom as the discussion between
Tania and Pedro ramps up. Pedro is
concerned that Tania has told Fifi too much about them and he doesn’t like it
one little bit. Tania thinks Fifi is
sweet and charming and she needs her. Noting
Tania’s demeanor Pedro checks the liquor cabinet and then her breath and goes
ballistic: she’s drunk again! Pedro lights into Tania for falling into the
same vices again! We’ve just met these
two but any of y’all can fill in the blanks:
she feels hurt by his rejection of her and refusal to introduce her to
the family. She knows his family is
conservative and she makes everything so hard by refusing to change! Right now the family is at a difficult and important crossroads; the reading of the
will! Oh, that’s just an excuse! It is not!
Tania thinks the reading of the will would be a perfect time for her to
meet his family!

I'm super pooped tonight and I've managed to hurt my shoulder...in my sleep. Typing seems to be making it worse. This is going to be pretty short, combined and crappy.
Rocio is in new clothes (I like it!) and is packing to leave. Santi helps with the suitcase. They begin the tearful goodbye. Rocio promises to always stay in touch. She's ready to go.
The twins waste water filling water balloons. Jacinto reminds them that they said at home they would conserve water. They remind him they are at school. They give him a good dosing.
Fac and La Pantera (RAWR) finalize the sale of her rancho. She asks him out for drinks.

Lo Imperdonable #74 Fri 8/28/15 A Family Reunion
No Mauricio for you tonight.
He’s taking a well-deserved day off and I appreciate the opportunity he has given me to try my hand at recapping after a rather long layoff, so for tonight I’ll be your guide through this morass. Settle in, have a complimentary gin and tonic, and let’s spend an hour together as we enjoy watching other people suffer. I promise, no baby seals will be harmed.
What better way to begin than with Nanciyaga counseling and consoling Julio? Something for everyone. He’s fretting and regretting his strong feelings for Ana Perla. Nanci understands, she’s experiencing a similar situation with her patrón, Martín. He wants to forget her, but Nanci assures Julio that hope is like a weed growing by the river, it never dies, it thrives. Well whatever, Julio is pretty gloomy (agüítado) about the whole thing (how the heck does this bumpkin know a word like that?). Nevertheless, Nanciyaga ain’t giving up on her patrón. She’s gonna defy the stars (and presumably those pesky snails as well). “Patron belongs to me… only me.”

Yo No Creo En Los Hombres #34 Fri 8/28/15
We start with where we left off yesterday, Isela making the moves on weak old man Claudio, Ivana making the biggest error of her life and Max and Jerry rushing to the Quernavaca house to save the day. At the same time, Alma is reassuring Maleny that she and Claudio will do whatever they can to get her and Max back together.
Now for the good stuff...
Ivana passes out at the pool’s edge and Ursela, Dan, and Arango just stand their staring at her while the doctor and the butler act as if they care. Dr Medina feels her pulse and says they need to get her to a hospital, Ursela dismisses the butler, and they all just stand there discussing what to do. Ursela is clearly in charge, she tells the doctor that they will do nothing to save her. In fact, Ursela rolls her over into the pool. Dr Medina shows us that he actually does have some ethics and jumps in to get her out. Right then, the butler comes running over to tell them that Jerry and Max have arrived. This puts Dan in a compromising situation, so in order to not look like the uncaring moneygrubbing husband that he is, he jumps into the pool too to help the doctor. Jerry and Max will save the day!!!
But wait, Arango runs out to the gate and tells Jerry and Max that they took Ivana to the hospital and quickly leaves with them.

Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #4 Fri 8/28/15 Muchacha Italiana viene a seguirme!
Greetings! Ciao, Muchacha Patio Peeps to my inaugural MIVAC recap! Yaaay! Let's hit it!
Giana has collapsed in the lobby of the hospital while Fiorella screams for help! Adela and Ray, Benito’s parents and perhaps on the maintenance staff of the building where they live, are at the hospital having tended to Ray’s sprained foot and they witness this pitiable scene. Adela intervenes with the cold receptionist and demands a Dr. be found to attend to Gianna right away! They will pay the bill. A Dr. and Nurse rush out with a stretcher and load Gianna on. Adela encourages Fiorella to accompany her sister!

We zip across town where Pedro is on the phone with Eloisa,
his Grandmother and long-suffering Matriarch.
She scolds Pedro about holding up the reading of the will. She is inpatient to get it underway because
she wants this pack of greedy hyenas out of her house. Pedro informs Eloisa that her beloved
grandson, Osvaldo, has complicated the negotiations with the Italians. Ah, she always said Osvaldo was a good for
nothing! Pedro will take care of
cleaning up Osvaldo’s mess and contact the law office to read the will the
following day. Good, because Eloisa doesn’t
want those vultures hanging around her another day!
The vultures yip and yap at each other at the table. Present are Federica, Osvaldo, Sonia, Gael
and Roxanne. Roxanne takes exception
with Gael referring to the maid attending the table as Simoncita and wonders if
he does this because he feels inferior.
Well, if she would come to his bed he would show her there’s nothing
inferior about him! Osvaldo wonders if
Federica wants to tell them something about the inheritance. . .when Sergio
sweeps in and sweetly flatters the blushing Simona, asking her to please heat
his food. Now it’s time for Sonia to
complain about Sergio directing his seductive powers at a "mere" maid. Sergio turns it back on her: it’s not his fault that she chose the wrong
man as her spouse. Osvaldo thinks Sergio would
put his energies to better use in getting Pedro to the ranch already so the
will can be read. Sergio shuts them
up. If not for Pedro, they wouldn’t be
drinking fine French wine, but tap water, and thanks to Pedro, the family
business is not bankrupt! Salud! The vultures can’t help but drink to that!

Amores con Trampa #109 Aug 28 2015: Dona Tomasita is back from WHEREVER... and Pantera meets Facu and starts her 'vengeance'... Rocio says her goodbyes
Beto tells Rocio he is discouraged of her, tells her to go
ahead and pack her bags and get outa Dodge.
San Bartolo: Porfirio
asks his former wife for explanations for her fleeing. Facu wants to know too. She claims it was because Porfirio was
unfaithful to her.
Lo Nuevo:
Facu is in disbelief… he knows Porfirio… She says Humilde
had told her all about the other woman in Porfirio’s life. THAT is why I left! Because
you betrayed me!!! (Facu is in full waterworks mode). … … So
apparently Facu’s mom had been tricked/deceived into thinking Porfirio had been
unfaithful to her. Yada yada…
Santee… he is reminiscing on Facu as a neighbor… who would have
known that a country farmer had more integrity than most… never passed invoice
on the 40 million pesos Santee owed him. How could he get those high profits
from the Japanese investors?? I will pay him… even if it’s the last thing I do
in my life I will pay him.
Back to San B… Facu has heard enough… he is really ansi so
he gets Porfirio’s blessing and his mom’s
too… and gets out of the room. Porfirio
assures his ex wife that his son and his grandchildren are the most sacred
thing he had in life… Swears that ‘that woman’ was not his lover. (Billy
Jean??) (I have a vision of Porfirio
doing the moon dance with white gloves and silver shoes)… Porfirio explains that he was visiting Lucia
often at that time because she was dying and he was helping her to get her
paperwork in order before she passed. HE
kept on visiting Lucia until she died.
(his former wife is finally getting a reality check)… Porfirio proudly
questions how could he even think of putting his family and the only woman he
ever loved and continues to l…. (cuts himself short) in jeopardy!! She apologizes. She claims she was made to
believe that the man she loved deeply had been unfaithful to her. Forgive me.
Forgive me. (he pulls her up to her
feet and kisses her)… Sweeeeet (and I never
thought I would see Don Ignacio kissing anyone in the mouth)…
At Carmona hall… Diego convinces Maria to let him in all the
way to Carmen’s room… Carmen whines to her mom that she should not have let Diego
in all the way before alerting Carmen of his visit. Maria tells Diego that Carmen has not been
eating… Diego tells her ‘I know you are stubborn….. well… persistent!’ but you also have to eat. Carmen insists that she has to study. An 8 is
not enough for her anymore. She will get a 10 in every subject! She wants them to leave her alone, she needs
to study. (she is taking selfies the
second they leave and she shuts the door behind them… )

Patio peeps, sadly we lost a recapper on the Imperdonable team so we have an open spot for Wednesday nights, I would continue to write the recaps myself but I'm committed to MIVC on the same night and can't do two recaps in one night, plus I also have my regular spot on Tuesday night's, that's three recaps in two days!

Yo no Creo En Los Hombres, Cap 33, Thu 08-27-15: In which Maleny is BSC and Ursula is colder than ice
Footsteps fall on the parquet floor, muffled only by
the Persian rug the mystery man skirts in approaching the door. He opens it to reveal his lover, posed seductively, reclining on the sofa and waiting for him. She
is not the mystery: he is. And he is…Ari. (Yes!) and he is clearly out of
sorts. Upset about Doris, he strips and prepares to seek oblivion in the skinny
arms of his lover…
But wait a minute, what about Max. He’s in his own
bedroom and someone has strewn rose petals all over the bed. Who? And why?

Lo Imperdonable #73 (Tel #74) Thu 8/27/15 How many times do the bad guys have to win??
I glossed over some of the useless chit chat and some of the scenes will be out of order.
Emiliano is upset because Salma and Virginia
don’t want Veronica getting any of Jorge’s money. Virginia thinks that
Vero doesn’t need it, she already has a rich husband. Emi is upset to be
reminded of Martin, yet again and Virginia is bothered by his reaction – is he still in luuv
with Veronica, even if he proposed to her?
Emi insists that they should all accept
Jorge’s decision and he feels completely disappointed with Virginia’s reaction.
They go back and forth on this several
times, with Salma adding her piece of venom, too, until Emi decides to storm
off, tired by the women's negative yapping. Virginia runs after him, leaving Salma crying - boohooo - and here comes Nico to
comfort her. He’s sure everything will be OK, they are such a great family and both Emi and Jorge adore her.
Salma is worried because her fights with Jorge over Veronica have become
even more heated then before. Nico gives her an awfully big and warm hug
(Cougar alert), managing to relax her. She wants to go talk to Jorge but
Nico tells her that he is already in a plane back to Mexico.
At the hospital in the city, Daniel tells Crescencio
that Manuel will survive, but he still needs a long treatment and there is no
saying how long it will be before he can move. Crescencio is determined to help
his grandson no matter what.
Mariana overhears the prognosis on Manuel
and later tells Daniel that she needs his help to move Pablo to another
hospital.
Because of course that Pablo is in the same place and he needs an expensive operation to fix his hand. Mariana is more than willing to pay for it, even after Pablo reminds
him that they’re not as close as they used to be. They see Crescencio and he
sees them, too. They don’t speak, but nobody is happy with the reunion.

Fiorella has accepted Vittorio Dragone's e-mail marriage proposal. Vittorio is over the moon! His whoops of joy are heard across the restaurant (La Dolce Vita by name) and Benito comes running. Vito is so happy! He's always wanted to marry an nice Italian girl! Benito suggests that Vittorio ask Fiorella to come to the clinic to meet him. Vittorio is confused by this, but Benito kindly explains that Vittorio will need to check himself into a botox clinic in order to look like the foto he sent to Fiorella. Benito thinks he should slow down, but the old man has already taken care of everything. And Benito called Vito a vetusto! HA! He's got a young bride winging her way to Mexico right now! Vito invites Benito to the wedding. He tells him to dress as a page and have expensive rings. Ok, I don't remember, did Benito say something in episodes 1 or 2 to the effect of "if this girl agrees to marry you I'll dress like an idiot at the wedding"?

Hi patio peeps, I'm so happy to see so many old and new friends on the patio! Please feel free to join the discussion and if you can I'd love to see everyone pick a name for our discussions on the patio (aka, the comments section) it's always much nicer to call someone "Bob" instead of Anon, you know what I mean? Lo Imperdonable #72 Wed 8/26/15 He's still not that into you
Hi peeps, you get me AGAIN! As always I encourage ready participation, I apologize for the quick recap but I have to work on another recap and can't spend too much time on either! I'm glad to report that i did not need beer to get through this episode, my liver is a happy liver!
We are going to the big city:
AP wants to go to Mexico to look after her brother and the OG, but Raymunda does not want her to go, the city is full of bad people, just look at what the outsiders have done in town. Blanca volunteers to go with AP but Raymunda is dead set against it. Ugh, she annoys me. Any way poor Pablo gets thrown under the bus, Raymunda says that poor Manuel was probably just defending himself from Pablo and that Pablo shot him and then ran away like a coward. Yo No Creo En Los Hombres Capitulo 32 Wed 8/26/15- A fresh look of despair

MD comes in the garage to ask Orlando what happened with Isela. Orlando who has the Virgin Mary Cross on him at first denies but later admits that Isela got abused. But out of a sudden a distant shadowy figure lurks ready to spill her tongue "My daughter was not abused, she slept with a guy from happiness". Shocks and screams ensue from Orlando and MD only for the Heifer to repeat it again "She is just playing you for a prince while screwing the rich guy for fortune. You will see soon enough just how right I am !" . Orlando tells her to piss off and later he does some smacks on the poor brick wall ( Will his cross soon transform him into the Devil's incarnate?)

Claudio now in the hospital does not agree with Dan taking away Ivana from medical care but stupid Alma thinks that Ivana will be just fine in Ursula's Hell Care. They later take Leo home into his beautifully decorated room by Clara but organized by Max. Leo is very happy at the sight. Claudio wants to thank Clara for caring so much. The family has a short term happy-time and we all know that is not a good sign.

MD comes in the garage to ask Orlando what happened with Isela. Orlando who has the Virgin Mary Cross on him at first denies but later admits that Isela got abused. But out of a sudden a distant shadowy figure lurks ready to spill her tongue "My daughter was not abused, she slept with a guy from happiness". Shocks and screams ensue from Orlando and MD only for the Heifer to repeat it again "She is just playing you for a prince while screwing the rich guy for fortune. You will see soon enough just how right I am !" . Orlando tells her to piss off and later he does some smacks on the poor brick wall ( Will his cross soon transform him into the Devil's incarnate?)

From her he learns that Veronica was adopted by the Prado-Castellos, that everyone knows she's adopted and that her parents were not hot stuff, her father was an awful drunk and her mother abandoned her to run off with her lover.
Again, how do people know so much about Veronica's past when no one ever talked to Magadalena or Aaron? And even if Jorge was aware of Veronica's parents past I doubt he would have shared this information with people outside of the family. Whatever, I'll roll with it. Aaron also learns that Vero is a good egg.

Ursula wants to know how Maleny got the money back from
her playboy tennis coach. Mal says matter
of factly that she simply threatened him.
Ma says she had a hard time believing it when Arango told her as
much. Mal dismisses that and gripes that
Ma didn’t lift a finger to stop her from shooting herself in the head. Must be that Mama’s always loved her brother
more. Of course Daddy loved Mal more but
since he’s been dead all these years…..So, she’s getting Max back now because
he’s the closest to a man like Daddy that she knows.
Across town, Max and Maria Dolores end The Kiss. Didn’t she like it? Sure, but she’s damaged goods right now. Ok. He
understands but wants a chance once she’s back in circulation. MD says fine cuz who wouldn’t feel honored to
have a man like Max seriously interested in her.
Daniel’s still with Ivana at the hospital lying to her
about their having as many kids as she’d like once she is feeling better and
they get hitched.
Back at the barrio, Max is now on the phone with Mal
telling her that Honoria and family refuse to accept her “reparations”. She says sweetly that he’s got to make them
understand how badly she feels about the other night and to accept her
offer. He says he’ll try and hangs up.

Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #1 Tue 8/25/15 Ciao!
Oh, just look at all that beautiful blue water! We're in Maratea, Italy, complete with lovely stucco houses with orange/red roofs. Livia Brito in a wedding dress rides down a narrow street perched in the sunroof of a tiny blue car, waving happily.

Manny can hardly contain his glee as he tells the Old Goat all about Pablo and Mariana. "They were together for years," he says softly. "He was just having a good time with my poor sister." And (as Mauricio astutely noted on Friday) the Old Goat doesn't take the news well. He sinks down in his chair and gasps. Manny smirks.
A loud, drunken Mariana ambushes Pablo outside his hotel room. She tells him that since he wouldn't listen to her, she found someone who would... Marcial or Macario... she can't remember. Fending off her advances, Pablo leads her to her room.

La Sombra del Pasado #134, 08/24/2015 (Mx 136 Part 2): The End of Our Tale
My patio peeps! We've made it to the end, woohoo! Before I start my recap I'd like to thank you all for making this so much fun. My teammates have been the best and I'm honored that they let me join them on this trip. Diva, Lila, Sara and Kris, you are the best team members that a girl could ever hope to have!

Ladies, gentlemen, here's a sight no one ever thought they'd see: Candela is on her knees, crying and praying for Aldonza's safe return, she also prays for Cristobal- she prays for him not to kill his father because that's a crime that would follow him around forever. Yo No Creo En Los Hombres #30 Mon 8/24/15: Discussion Page
Urban Anthropologist has computer problems and asked for a discussion page and highlites if anybody can throw a few up. If she can manage a recap we'll post it later on.

Part 1:
- Maleny's got a new hairstyle and a new attitude. She first goes to Ari and pressures him to give back every cent of the money her mama and Arango paid him to break things off with her. She doesn't have Max anymore and has nothing to lose now, so she threatens to accuse him of sexual harassment at the club if he doesn't comply.
- Ari folds, and has to ask Doris for the money back. He lies and says he's loaning the money to Orlando to pay for Leo's medical bills and his planned wedding with Isela. Doris breaks the news to MD, who now wants to go into business together. MD doesn't care. They can make it work and still be partners, even though Doris doesn't have money to invest right now.
- Maleny continues on her new tough attitude. She gives Arango a check to cover Ari's bribe money, and lets him know she is NOT as stupid as they think. Even in her drunken, hysterical state the night before and the night Arango picked her up from the club, she picked up on the non-boss-employee vibe between her him and her mother, and she knows their hiding secrets.
- Maleny then has a truck of new quesadilla stand supplies sent over to Honoria, much to Hon's, Fermin's, and Julian's shock.
- Esperanza is trying to forbid Clara from continuing her relationship with Leo. Clara is having NONE of that, and can't believe she and Leo are getting all this crap, when MD is about to get back together with that lying cheat, Dan. MD defends Clara and Leo's relationship to Espy. She then goes to the hospital and lobbies for Alma to leave the kids alone. Max overhears, and thinks MD has misinterpreted Leo's restrictions on visitors by the doctors as Alma being against the teen lovers. MD looks at Alma and tells Max to get clarification from his mama. Max once again tries to warn MD off Dan and says he'll be there for her. But she tells him to keep his distance, per his mama's orders.
- Max chews Alma out about her not trusting him, and betraying his trust by telling Maleny about his feelings for MD. He says he's lost his trust in her. Alma becomes distraught. Max and Leo also get suspicious when they see she called Clara's house from Leo's phone.
- To try to fix things, Alma allows Leo visitors from the hood-- Orlando, Julian, and a very happy Clara. The novios smooch happily. Alma leaves the room quietly.

Having earlier been taunted by Josefa that she couldn't be that great in bed, if Claudio wasn't trying to get her back IN bed, Isela is obviously upset he's being so distant. She stabs some papers on Claudio's desk as she says farewell, and looks up to see Maleny watching her with a very knowing look. They threaten each other to not meddle in each other's business. Isela won't reveal what she knows about Maleny and Ari, if Maleny doesn't mess with her.
- Alma has overheard Leo tells Orlando, Julian and Clara that he remembers perfectly that he raised the car onto bricks. They don't understand, since the bricks were to the side of the car. They think Leo must be mistaken, but he's certain. Alma gasps to herself, now certain that someone tried to KILL Leo. She's right, but this only makes her more determined to keep Max and Leo away from the folks in that hood. She doesn't understand why Claudio offers to lend Julian office spaces next to his own (as compensation for saving Leo), but he's certain he will be able to get Julian's help in convincing Leo to distance himself from the hood, and eventually Clara.
- Ivana's showdown with Susana ends in stalemate. Susana does back down when Ivana threatens to limit her access to money and luxuries to mere crumbs.
- Meanwhile, Dan and Ursula try to figure out Ivana's game in keeping the miscarriage from him. They decide Ivana still wants to marry him, but wants to get revenge on him in some way. Dan goes to see her the next day, confronts her about the miscarriage, and rushes her to the hospital when he sees she's in a bad state. At the hospital, he and Ursula plot their next move while the doctors do a D & C. Ursula prays she doesn't die, before they can get their hands on her money. The doc comes out and tells them that the infection was so bad, that they also have to do a hysterectomy. Dan plays to grieving father and fiance, and asks the doctor to let him break the news to Ivana. This is all kinds of wrong, and the doc holds on to his professional ethics for a minute, before he agrees. Ursula and Dan decide not to tell Ivana that she can no longer have children. Dan says it's even better now. No pesky kids to get in the way of HIM ending up with ALL the money. Bwahahaha!

Dan claims he was just seeing MD to try to help her with the lawsuit Ivana is bringing against her. Alma and Ursula confirm the lawsuit to Max.
-Clara happily reports her visit with Leo to Espy and MD. Espy wonders how Alma treated her. Clara says she was cold, but polite, and it’s all due to MD going to talk to Alma. The sisters hug. Espy doesn’t want Clara to experience the troubles MD is having with Dan’s family, with Leo’s family. Clara doesn’t think you can even compare the two situations. Espy relents and gives in to Clara’s happiness.
- Dan goes in to see Ivana after she wakes up. He lays it on thick with the tears about their lost child, and how he wants to try for more. He lays his head on Ivana’s chest, and she looks like she may be falling for his act.
- Max tracks down MD as she’s walking through the park. He wants to know why she didn’t tell him about the lawsuit. He wants to help her. She tries to shoo him away, and says that Dan and Victor (the shady lawyer) are helping her. Max is flabbergasted. How can she trust Daniel? He tells her to stop playing the innocent and admit that she wants to be fooled by Daniel! MD snaps back and asks so what if she does!? Max declares his feelings for her again, takes her face into his face, and makes the slow approach to her lips. She doesn’t resist, and when their lips finally meet, she becomes a full participant. Another dress bag is dropped and totally forgotten as she melts into Max’s kiss.

Rocio is very upset about her conversation with Beto. Feli wants to know whats wrong. She tries to brush it off. Feli rightly guesses she's upset about Beto and asks if they fought. Feli knows Beto adores Rocio. Rocio doesn't think so. Hilda was in Beto's office. Feli looks a little down about that. Rocio asks if he likes Hilda. He changes the subject. He encourages her to talk to Beto. "Tell him how you feel!" Rocio is convinced it's too late.
Maria tells Fac that Florencio has left for San Bartolo el Chico. Fac looks suspicious. Beto thinks this is a good thing since it means Florencio won't keep bothering Maria. Esteban interrupts this family meeting to ask Fac why he's leaving for SBeC with Porfirio. There's business to attend to! Fac has a meeting with the Japanese investors. Fac wonders how long it will take to wrap up the meeting with the investors so he can get going to SBeC. Esteban thinks if the ladies cook a good traditional meal, only a few days. Susana quips that Esteban is making jokes and Perpetua agrees...but they're bad jokes (Did I catch that correctly?) The family leaves

Susana has come to Maria Dolores with a version of the truth
that best suits her purposes: Ivana is buying herself a husband and was willing
to fake a pregnancy in order to do so
and to keep him Dan; Daniel never loved Ivana and Susana tried to convince her of
it with the taped conversation. She lets MD hear enough of the taped conversation with Urrrrrsula to convince MD that they were in cahoots somehow.
At the same time, Max delivers Majorly Mad Maleny to her mother and deposits
her there with Urrrrrsula and Arango The Arranger. She waits for Max to leave: “—I’d rather they’d
brought you home dead!” “—Me , too!” Well, there’s still time!” Urrrrsula drags Mad Mal into her daddy’s
former study/office, sits her down in a chair, and pulls out a gun from the top desk drawer. This
didn’t kill your father. It was you,
with nerve enough to finish the job the coward couldn’t. Mal tells her to shut up but Mama brashly continues. “—Tell me at what moment you changed into a gutless
wonder like him? What were you
thinking? That by disappearing one night
from home Max was going to take pity on you and go back to you?”
“—So is this what you’d rather I do?” Mad Malady de Maleny picks up the gun, cocks
it and impulsively threatens to kill herself with it. Arrango rushes over and manages to grab the
gun away from her. (A pity he’s so quick
and able.) Mal, in her frustration and
anger, lets out with another cacophonous blast of certifiable bellowing, her reckless
hysterical hijinks not having met with Mama’s approval. No, says GRRRrsssula, Mal should have pulled that gun act in
front of Max so that she’d have ended up appearing the sympathetic victim and not that seamstress! Mal races out of
the room and Mama Bear tells Arrango it was a lesson she needed. “She’s turned into a spineless weakling just
like her father and look how he ended up!”
