Amar a Muerte, 1/2/2019, Episode 41: Johny and Lucia Age before our eyes.
At
the scorpion’s nest, Alacrán calls the number from the text El
Chino sent. Beltrino doesn’t answer, but sends back a message
telling Alacrán that he is not going to answer nor is he going to
show up unless he sees Alacrán. After Alacrán reads the message, he
comments that El Chino must think he is stupid…and he isn’t even
sure that it’s El Chino who is sending the messages. As Gancho
looks suspiciously at Mugres, Alacrán gets another message couldn’t
read the message and knows it’s El Chino. As Mugres sweats
bullets, Gancho picks up all the money, throws a bill at Mugres and
tells him he was saved.
In
SA, Barb asks Beltrino what the plan is. Beltrino tells her there is
only one way Lupita will get out of this alive, he is going to have
to kill Alacrán. Barb thinks it’s a horrible plan. Shut Up Barb,
it is a GREAT plan unless Death Chick is feeling playful again.
Beltrino asks what her plan is, but Barb has no idea since she has
never been in these types of situations. If he goes ahead with the
plan, she will not accompany him. Just then, Beltrino gets a message
from Alacrán that he will be in SA that afternoon. Beltrino responds
to Alacrán that if he doesn’t bring Lupita, there will be no deal.
Alacrán agrees to the condition. When Barb warns Beltrino that
Lupita may be hit in the crossfire, Beltrino responds that Alacrán
won’t bring her, that is why he has to kill him. Barb still doesn’t
know why Beltrino has to kill Alacrán, so he explains that if he
doesn’t kill him, Alacrán will kill his wife. You need some visual
aids for her Belt, like stick figures and a hammer.

Mi marido tiene más familia Wednesday 1/2/19 Capítulo 78 Robert in Purgatory--OR--Diego Pushes the Envelope
Pancho calls Polita and brings her up to date on everybody's condition. He tells her that the López family is a lucky family ("una familia con suerte": the name of the telenovela about Pancho López) and to tell Lupita that everything will be okay.
In his hospital room, Julio explains how Julieta did everything to save him. Ari says she is an excellent woman. He decides to leave Julio and Temo alone because they must have a lot to talk about. Temo thanks Ari for coming. Ari says he could not be any other place and leaves. Julio apologizes to Temo for treating him so badly. Julio realizes that he risked his life for him. Temo has always taken care of him. Pancho overhears this as he comes into the hospital room and pauses.. Temo says he has always taken care of Julio because he loves him. They love each other. Julio will take Temo as he is because he is the best brother in the whole wide world. Julio wants him to be happy(feliz como una lombriz--happy as an earthworm) with Ari. Pancho is happy that the brothers are back together. Love always wins in the end but now the time has come to pray for Robert's wife who saved them both.

begin where we left off last time, the tug of war and Ari falling face down in
the mud. Temo offers him a hand, but Ari is angry and refuses it and walks off.
Diego ask Temo if he wants to play fútbol, but Temo says that Ari offended him
and he’s going to take a walk, then go back to his tent and rest.
Susana
lets Julieta know she will be on a conference call with the executives and it
should not take too long.

Amar a Muerte, 1/1/2019, Episode 40: Let the Games Begin!
Lucía
looks up (almost disgusted) at Johny and asks, “Get married?” Johny wants to
formalize it all and be together…and consolidate their power in the Carvajal
Group…that way they kill two birds with one shot. Lucía thinks that Eva will
have both of them killed…literally, but Johny insists that they will be married
by then. Eva won’t be able to do anything about it. They can get married
secretly and avoid a scandal, and when the mourning phase passes, they can tell
everyone. When Johny asks what she thinks, Lucía replies that that is what she
needs to do—think about it, they just can’t do everything at a whim. Johny
argues that they have nothing to think about; this is what they have always
wanted, he loves her, she loves him (Boy, are you clueless, Johny!) and they
want to be together. As he gets menacingly close to her, he questions if
someone or something has made her feel differently. After Lucía assures him
that nothing has happened, he asks her to marry him…and Lucía takes a long
pause…Johny secretly wonders why she is wearing Old Spice lately.

Amar A Muerte, 12/28/18, Episode 39: Emotional Torture Takes All Forms
- Dumb as a doorknob crook #2 loses his gun in the all but emptied parking garage to the sure, swift moves of the real El Chino who is still embodied in Beltran. Belchin' and Barbara unceremoniously dump DADC #1 out of his car and bleed tread hightailing it to Mexico by way of the highway.
- Lucia works her wiles on Sr. Armenta and cons him into signing a formal agreement to keep his word regarding what he and she discussed during their interview (I believe). Knowing her true background, she explains, he, as a violent man, must also accept that it costs her a lot of effort to believe he'd keep his word. Politicians don't keep their word, but him, yes. (Guess he figures because he knows his salad fork from his dinner fork, his kind are set apart somehow. Fuchi!) He takes the pen and we assume tries impressing her by putting pen to paper.

Mi marido tiene más familia Friday 12/28/18 Capítulo 76 The Bad Seed Sprouts
Sebas and Dave watch the "spitting Julio" video. Sebas knows that everyone is laughing at them. He leads the charge to Pancho's apartment and Dave follows. Pancho answers the door. Julio admits to what he did as revenge for them ruining his model. Pancho makes Julio "apologize". Crisanta comes to see what is going on. Susana needs to talk to her.
Linda is frantically packing. Julieta informs her she understands what she is going through more than Linda might think. Julieta had a complicated family and because of that she was a rebel herself. Julieta discovered that she could not control what others think but could control her reactions and her anger. Linda is so tired living there after she was on her own in Italy. She is so sick of their rules, criticisms and sermons. Julieta understands that living on your own and then coming home to live is not easy. Julieta cites herself as an example. Julieta asks about Axel. Linda starts to sob. She has no idea of what to do. She loves him. Linda wants to see if it could work out for them. Julieta advises her to think about the consequences like the separation from her family and losing her business space. Linda is going to stay with Dani and Gabriel. Julieta warns her she isn't going to find her independence there. Linda knows that but she needs to save up some money until she can afford a place of her own. Julieta reminds her that Dani and Gabriel are trying to have a baby. Linda is going anyway. Now, Julieta can have the bathroom all to herself.

Amar a Muerte, 12/27/2018, Episode 38: Can't Hide the Feeling...or the Past
León/Chino/Jacobo
(LCJ) is in his bat cave getting some money from a small safe. As he looks
through some other documents, his phone rings…Rosalba is calling from the
office but he ignores the calls. At the office, Lucía is told that several
calls have been made to LCJ but he isn’t answering; so Lucía decides to call
him herself. Lucía stomps into her office and calls LCJ, but he still refuses
to answer. He closes the safe and places a document into his inside pocket.
Lucía leaves a message that it is urgent that she talk to him about the dinner
with Servando. She has to be at the restaurant soon and she wants him to take
her…she adds “please.”
Renata
is leaving her desk when Guille runs up and tells her that he wants to finish
their conversation. Renata turns him down citing that she has to deliver some
documents; then she has to leave because she is going to the theater. Guille
thinks that would be perfect; they can go see a movie and then go out for a
drink and talk. Renata again refuses and tells Guille that he should be going
out with his girlfriend; besides, what would the press say if they see him
going out with his…secretary? Teo then approaches and asks Renata if she is
ready; Renata replies that she is quite ready.

Amar a Muerte, 12/26/2018, Episode 37: Catch me if you can....We Did
In
San Antonio, Beltino continues his Oscar-winning performance and asks
Fabián who Alacrán is. Fabián replies that Alacrán is a drug
trafficker and that those men are his sicarios. They are probably
after the same thing he is…they want El Chino. When Barbara asks
what they are going to do, Beltino suggests that they invite them in
for coffee! (Haha!) …and tell them in a civilized manner that there
is no “El Chino” there. Barbara goes with the flow and agrees.
At
the scorpion’s nest in Mexico, Gancho urges Alacrán to eat before
he hands him one of Lupita’s flyers. Alacrán shouts with glee and
is glad that the good news just continue to pile up. When Gancho asks
what they should do, Alacrán tells him they will go grab Lupita and
have a big party with her.

Mi marido tiene más familia Wednesday 12/26/18 Capítulo 74 "Forbidden" Loves !!!!!-OR--Julieta Says "Yes!" to Matching Pj's!!!!!
Susana tells bratty Sebas that he doesn't have to go. They are getting along. This is his home. Sebas accuses her of preferring Pancho López to him. Susana assures Sebas that he will always be her son. One thing has nothing to do with the other. Sebas cannot see that because he hates Pancho and loves his father. He reminds Susana that she used to love his father.
Blanca asks Julieta about getting married twice. Imelda presumes it will be in church this time. Julieta answers with a resounding "NO"!!! Robert says it will be something more original like a romantic celebration of their vows. Blanca and Eugenio holds hands and smile. Robert mentions that they are coming up on their one year anniversary. Gabriel will take on the planning of the vow renewal event. Robert and Julieta thank him.
Susana repeats that her love for Sebas will never change if she has a partner or not. Pancho is such a good man. Sebas makes it clear for the umpteenth time that he will never accept Pancho and asks if he can go live with his father. Vicente supposes so as soon as he can get it arranged. Axel hugs his little brother.

Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 73, Tuesday, December 25, 2018; Robert asks Julieta to Renew their Wedding Vows
[I’ve been too busy with Christmas and too
tired to do much of a recap today, but here are a few highlights. Feel free to
discuss away whatever I’ve missed mentioning:]
Robert
continues to woo Julieta at her office. He brings her a nice slinky black dress
and they both dance. He presents her with some new wedding rings and asks if
she wants to renew their wedding vows. She says yes.
Dani
and Gabe come over to tell Blanca that Hermoso is missing. Blanca says she can
help out by putting up flyers around and at her dance class. Eugenio wheels
himself in and Daniela comes to hug him. Daniela asks if he had an approximate
date that Tulio would be done with his rehab. But Eugenio says he just can’t remember.
Blanca seems a little concerned but says it’s normal to forget some dates after
all the information he has received while gone.

Amar a Muerte, 12/25/2018, Episode 36: A Gathering of (Non)Friends...Make More Coffee, Barb!
Leon/Chino/Jacobo
(LCJ) and Guille continue their talk outside on the patio. LCJ wonders why
Guille didn’t call the cops. Guille questions what they were supposed to
say—that they were drunk and just got the idea to do hold up a liquor store and
shoot a man. LCJ starts questioning Guille about that night; so Guille tells
him that it was Toño who shot the man. He thinks there were cameras, but they
were wearing masks. He confesses that every time he sees one of those masks, he
recalls the man lying there in his blood; it’s was horrible, but the man is
doing well. When LCJ asks if he has seen the man, Guille admits that he decided
to help the man in his recuperation, but he posed as a representative of a
foundation. LCJ thinks Guille did the right thing and would like to accompany
Guille whenever he goes to see the man. After Guille thanks LCJ, he apologizes
for bringing LCJ into the situation; he just needed to let out what he was
feeling. LCJ then asks Guille if he has told anyone about the incident; so
Guille tells him that he confided in his secretary. He trusts her and, in a
way, she is very special. Yes, like in a TN, virtually married if she knows
enough to send you to prison, Mr. Sharing.

Amar a Muerte, 12/21/18, Episode 35: A Birthday Burden Bared and Shared
Parte 1~~
Beltran and Barbara are being held at gunpoint in the woods by Sr. T's two henchmen (I believe) who've followed them to the burial site of the briefcase of stolen bills. Belchin' tries to tells them it's his inheritance from his dead daddy but that doesn't fly even with these two toads. So, he warns them it is cursed and if they take it they'll never live to tell anyone. Again the two gunmen don't believe him and walk the two into the woods to murder them.
Juliana arrives to the party and Valentina is surprised at the change her designer dress and shoes have made. She and Jules enter the party room where Renata is still sulking and worrying that there won't be enough food and drink to go around.

Mi marido tiene más familia Friday 12/21/18 Capítulo 72 Blanca and Robert To the Rescue--OR--If Sebas Runs Away, Does He Have to Be Found?
The fight continues. Robert and Pancho duck and dive like a choreographed team. Vicente's friend ends up on the floor. Pancho takes some salt /spice mix from the bar and throws a handful in Vicente's face. Vicente complains that he cannot see. Robert throws a glass of booze in Vicente's friend's face.
Vicente ends up beating up his own friend since he cannot see who he is punching.
As they embroider, Blanca tells Julieta to just take it easy since this is a delicate task and she has a needle and not a hammer. Blanca wants to know more about Julieta's first date with Robert. Julieta, with a smile, talks about when Robert came to pick her up. Hugo stood in the doorway to prevent them from leaving being very possessive as he always has been. Blanca supposes that Robert must have had a fiery response. Julieta explains that isnot Robert. He feels bad after killing a mosquito. Robert is the most peaceful person that she knows. He'd never get involved in a fight.

Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 71, Thursday, December 20, 2018; A Doctor and Vegetable Dealer Walk into a Bar….
We open
with where we left off yesterday, with Blanca’s reflections of what family is
and what it means, how family is supposed to accept you as you are and form
their own community together. The family applauds Blanca.
In the
hallway, Dani and Gabe discuss how difficult things became with the family
knowing their business. He promises they will have a family. Hermoso barks in
the background when they kiss.
Linda
and Ari talk and she tells him she supports him 1000%. She says she is there
for him if he needs her. He goes off to look for Temo, but finds Cristanta who
tells him he has already left for Toluca. Ari is shocked.

Amar A Muerte, 12/20/2018, Episode 34: Stone Cold
In
San Antonio, Barbara continues to nag Beltino that she is tired and not up to
these types of things; she has no idea how he talked her into this. Excuse
Me? You were ready to fly him down here
on your broomstick lady ! Beltino
finally gets fed up and tells her to shut up and to look at where they are.
Barb is relieved to see that she is back in civilization as Beltino tells her
they have the best beer there; he’s going to buy her two so she can shut up.
After they enter, the two goons follow. Beltino calls the owner by name, but
the owner has no idea who he is. Beltino laughs and tells him that his place is
quite known so he feels like he knows him. Beltino is anxious for some good
food since the breakfast wasn’t that great. Barb takes offense and tells him
she will never cook for him again. A threat or a promise? Beltino responds that

Amar a Muerte, 12/19/2018, Episode 33: Something's Burning...and It Ain't Love
Johny
praises León for being a good man—a man with good values and
principles, he was like a father to Johny. After León/Chino/Jacobo
(LCJ) asks Johnny what exactly León was to him, Johny hightails it
out of there. LCJ smirks in satisfaction for getting to Johny.
Camilo
arrives at the club and tries to go in, but is stopped at the door
despite telling the guard that they are waiting for him. After the
guard closes the door, Cami looks around wondering how he can get in.
Inside, Karla is tied up with a bloody nose (probably from that
gruesome ring on El Ruso’s pinkie). She asks El Ruso what else he
wants, they almost killed her father. They can’t kill her just over
a card game, especially after she brought them their money. El Ruso
reminds her that she is a gambler, so she should know the rules…a
bet is a bet. After the goon adds that a robbery is a robbery, Karla
shouts that the money was hers—she won it. As she yells, another
goon points a gun at her head while EL Ruso tells her that no one
makes fools of them and whoever tries will pay dearly. Karla looks at
the goon holding the gun and asks him if he really thinks she is
afraid of death, she has already been there. They can send her back
and she will be waiting for them. She shouts at him to shoot her.

Mi marido tiene más familia Wednesday 12/19/18 Capítulo 70 Blanca Really Does Knows Best
Blanca answers very much on the defensive and tells Julieta that living with her family shouldn't be felt to be something negative. It isn't the worst thing that could happen in her life. Julieta tries to explain that it has nothing to do with Blanca but it has to do with her own expectations for herself.
Dani informs Imelda that even though she respects Imelda she will not let her repeat that her husband is not enough of a man. Imelda thinks that Gabriel isn't the right man for Dani if he cannot give her a child. Gabriel does not understand how Imelda could say that when he is currently treating the health problems that he has. Dani won't take Imelda's meddling either. It is her private life and she and Gabriel will solve their own problems. Imelda will not shut up. She just wants more grand children and Dani deserves to be a mother. Gabriel asks if she doesn't think that he also wants to be a father. It is his greatest wish. He will do whatever necessary to have a child and if in the end he cannot, he will still be a good man for Dani. Imelda sighs and shakes her head.

Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 69, Tuesday, December 18, 2018; Back to Square One
As
Vicente comes in, he has a huge bouquet of pink roses for Susana, but she is
with Pancho. She says that they are novios but please do not tell their sons
because she is going to do it herself. Vicente then confronts her after Pancho
leaves and tells her that Pancho is not the man for her because they are so
different. Then he refers to him as a “pasajero” or passenger. I think he was
referring to Pancho being the type of guy who is transient and just along for
the ride and what he can get out of Susana. She tells him to stay out of her
life, just concentrate on their sons, not tell her how to run her life because
they are divorced. She then asks him to close the door securely on the way out!
At the
Cooper home, with the two children fast asleep in their bed, Julieta and Robert
discuss the future. Julieta says she doesn’t want to stand in front of his
career and doesn’t want to be blamed for his not going to Africa. Robert says
since everything has changed, he doesn’t want to go to Africa, since the family
is back together. He also says it’s probably the best thing that they accept
his mother’s offer to move in with them for a while.

Amar a Muerte, 12/18/2018, Episode 32: Something's Burning
For those who may not have visited a patio for Monday’s
episode, Anita posted this comment:
OPEN LETTER TO CARAYCARAY DEVOTEESA new CarayCaray team is now in place of our departing guru, Jane, aka Melinama. We appreciate from the bottom of our hearts the tireless stewardship of her blog since she started it with Alborada, all those years ago. We want to thank her for letting us take on the job of continuing with and nurturing this blog. We hope we can do it justice.
To note, the storylines, dialog and content of telenovelas have evolved, many in ways which we don't like or approve. The English language has also evolved and what used to be offensive is now part of social content nation-wide. That goes for standard English broadcasts that are populating the cable and the airwaves as well. We who want to, change with the times, or filter out what is objectionable.
We recap and follow telenovelas for the pleasure of being in a community interested in telenovelas, Spanish language and Central and Latin American culture. The Univision and Telemundo products offered, drive the conversations.
If you have noticed that the number of telenovelas recapped, comments and "hits" on each recap is way down from days of yore, it can be assumed it may stem from the availability of closed captions getting better. Plenty of non-Spanish speakers have drifted off. What is left is a community of like-minded spirits who enjoy the conversations after the recap is posted. We hope each one of you are and continue to be one of them.

and necks. (‘Oh Joco, how did you know about that little place on my neck that sends me into OR-BIT?” “Um..duh..er lucky guess sweets.”) Fabricio tells Johny about his father is very ill (Johny is probably
thinking, “And? Do you think I care?); and he isn’t making enough money and he
doesn’t want his father to die. Johny had no idea and gladly agrees to help
Fab…and Johny would be ever so grateful if Fab would keep him up-to-date about
all the goings-on at the Carvajal house, especially anything having to do with
LCJ—what time he leaves, arrives, what he eats (uhmm, Lucía’s tongue right
now!), etc… Fabricio agrees.

went into Camilo's office to tell him that cops fromSan Antonio are
in Mexico talkingto the local police and passing photos of himself
around the entire city. He told Camilo to call his friend in San
Antonio to get the contact number for the DA.

Mi marido tiene más familia Monday12/17/18 Capítulo 68 A Prayer is Answered By a Father's Love--OR--Crisanta Gets ZAPPED!!!
Julieta realizes that she probably has no right to ask the Virgin for anything but she has never stopped believing in her power so that is why she is asking her to help her. Nothing is like it was. Her relationship with Robert is broken. They are about to lose the house and have lost Dave. She doesn't know how to find the strength to go on. She will put up with anything if it makes her son happy.
Lupita encourages Dave to tell his bio-dad Fernando how he feels. Her dad taught them to keep nothing in. Dave is afraid that if he tells his bio-dad that he wants to go back to live with the Oppa's he will be very sad. Fernando has nobody else. Dave cannot leave him alone since he knows how it feels to be abandoned.
Vicente is all excited that Robert has accepted the position in Africa. He will give Robert time to get everything arranged. Vicente says it is a minimum six month commitment so Vicente can do what he needs to do in Mexico. Robert looks like this is not what he was expecting.

Valentina is excited and flies into the manse's dining room. Lucia's broadcast is #1 trending topic on all the social net websites. Eva arrives after parking her broomstick and has a breakfast of sour grapes when seeing the last night's ratings.
Beltran is racing off to the airport. He tells Alicia and Javier that he'd rather take a taxi than have her drive him to the airport. However, Belchin's BFF arrives, fully recovered from the near-death beat down he got a few months back, and says he'll take him instead. Alicia is satisfied. Barbara, on the other hand, apparently is left to get to the airport all by her lonesome. Belchin' refuses to answer her numerous calls to his cell.

Mi marido tiene más familia Friday 12/14/18 Capítulo 67 Taking Steps Towards a New Normal--OR--How Many Products Can We Promote in One Episode?
Pancho runs into Robert in the hall. He notices that there is something wrong. Pancho knows that they aren't buddies or anything but they are on the same side. Maybe they could start over. Robert agrees that perhaps they just got off on the wrong foot. In spite of their quarrels, Pancho likes Robert. He'd like to have a chat with him on the stairs. By the way, Crisanta is back to snore some more in the building. That surprises Robert and he answers in his best "Pancho" imitation with "No manches!" (No way!)
Back at school, Julieta and Dave are happy to see each other. Dave has missed them all. Susana is taking Sebas out to lunch and Axel will join them. She just wanted to spend some time with her sons. Fernando has come for Dave. He reminds Julieta of the visitation schedule the judge set up. She tells him about how much she missed Dave and just had to see him. She didn't want to go against him or the judge. Fernando asks her to just let him be Dave's dad. Fernando leaves with Dave.

Amar a Muerte, 12/12/2018, Episode 29: Which Ones Are the Bad Guys? Oh, They Are ALL Bad

The tension continues as León/Chino/Jacobo (LCJ) tells
Armenta that Lucía will come through, but Armenta is getting impatient waiting
while Lucia negotiates with Montilla and tells LCJ that he is fed up, Lucía is
taking too long with the mayhem caused by the cops. As Armenta tells LCJ that
his time is up and points Juanita (his lovely pistol) at his head, main goon
leader rushes in to tell Armenta that the cops are leaving. Armenta wonders
what saint LCJ prays to, but then tells him that the Saint must not have heard
him.
Out in the corridor, Lucía thanks Montilla for saving
her life and that of her chauffeur’s. Montilla is upset and chides Lucía for
provoking such a big sting operation just because of her impertinence. Whatever
happens next will be her responsibility, and she needs to respect the police.
Lucía apologizes, and when they turn to go inside they hear a gunshot!
Karla arrives home and sees all the disorder. When she
goes inside and sees Pedro passed out on the floor and runs to him. She tries
to bring him to, but he is unconscious so she calls for an ambulance. As she
talks to the operator, she sees the note from “El Ruso” (long-bearded goon)
which demands that she return the money or there will be more beatings of those
close to her.

Imelda gets a surprise to start her day. It is Crisanta at her door in a sun hat and sunglasses. Crisanta explains that she is on vacation and she is going to stay in the apartment that belongs to her daughter. Imelda is left with her mouth hanging open but then asks what could Crisanta gain living there. Crisanta wants to be close to her husband' ashes and to know that her life with him was not in vain. She knows Imelda understands her pain.

Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 65, Tuesday, December 11, 2018; Julieta plays the “blame game” or Susana and Pancho become Novios
We
begin where we left off yesterday, with Audifáz receiving his much deserved
slap in the face by Polita. [Yes he did beg for it!] She really stands up for
herself this time and shuts him down. She tells him that even though they had
nothing previously and were poor, at least they all had each other and they
were a united family. But now, that is not the case since he has changed so
much. Now, he is leading them to a ditch that they will never be able to climb
out of. Audifáz won’t back down though
and says that Ari cannot return. Then he self-righteously walks away. Ari hugs
his mother as she cries, apologizing and trying to comfort her.
Daniela
and Gabriel settle on a cute little white dog together. They name him “Hermoso.”
Then Dani makes a list of the dog chores and says that the dog cannot sleep
with them. Gabe mentions having children in the future and she imagines herself
holding a baby.

Amar a Muerte, 12/11/2018, Episode 28: Go Away, Little Boy! OR I am Woman, I Am Strong!
Previously: Armenta reminds Lucía that she doesn’t
need a weapon to kill someone; she has the newspaper and more power than she
realizes. She suggests that they use that power…together
Leon/Chino/Jacobo (LCJ) is quite impatient and stands
up. As he is about to ask henchie something, another henchie comes out and
tells him to follow him inside. As he walks in, Lucía motions him to stay calm.
Armente mocks him for being the sought-after chauffeur and suggests he should
ask for a raise after that escape. When LCJ asks Lucía if she needs something,
(Yeppers Chof, trot down to 7-11 and get me a Latte and a hand grenade) Armenta
quickly points out that HE sent for him. He wants LCJ to record the
conversation that he and Lucía are about to have…a historic event that is about
to happen.

Amar a Muerte, 12/10/18, Episode 27: Q-Where oh Where is El Chino Valdes?
A-In two places at once. (Broma)
*Johny is on his way
(presumably) to the office. He always seems to wear the same suit and tieless
shirt (should be quite ripe by now, after 27 episodes). His fancy red car has
been defiled by a nasty yellow note which reads, “How often do you think of me?”
It freaks him out. What a way to start the day. To make matters worse, he can’t
reach Lucia.
*Lucia and her chofer linger
over their early morning kiss. It’s a lot like coffee, though. It wakes Luci up
to realize what she’s been doing and sends LCJ away. She needs to be alone.
Although he doesn’t believe her, he strides out, still breathless from the
passion spent, or rather, unspent.
*At their breakfast nook,
Mateo and Eva are pissed by the news in or not in the papers. Mateo’s article
is missing and all Eva can see are the competing headlines featuring Luci. Eva
is sure Luci’s not going to get away with it as she has no idea who she’s
dealing with. And Mateo thinks Eva does? It sounds like she is defending those
scalawags. No—Eva is only defending her family, the family business and Mateo.

When Crisanta and Susana arrive home, Vicente and the boys are playing video games. Susana decides to join in. Sebas says he will have to teach her. She would love to learn. She plays on one team against Axel and Vicente on the other team. Crisanta somberly looks on.
Frida tells Dani and Gabriel she is happy that they are together again. Dani says the reality show strengthened their love. Blanca asks what Gabriel is planning on pursuing. He wants to be an event planner. Blanca chuckles saying it isn't very masculine. Gabriel nicely lets her know it is all about breaking stereotypes. Blanca sees the family getting more and more modern. It will give Imelda another heart attack. Linda fills them in about Ari and Temo coming out and how Audi ran his own son out of his house. Lucia is surprised to take a late night phone call from the head of the Armente Family. He asks if she meant what she said on tv or was just posing for the Press. He's willing to take her at her word for a sit-down. Yes, it will be in a public place and he'll call her back with a couple of choices. NO cops or media present or else! He's a man of his word and she can trust him not to pull anything on her. "--You wanted to talk and that's what we'll do."

Lupita bemoans the fact that now they need to disappear and have no money to make the move. Julieta says it's no use because those two men will follow them to the ends of the earth; no matter where they try to escape to, they'll find them.

Mi marido tiene más miedo Friday 12/7/18 Capítulo 63 Don't Poke the Bear
Fernando walks Dave to school where he mets Sebas and Frida. He leaves to go to work. Iker invites Linda out for some coffee. Yes! There is always time for coffee, or, as Iker puts it, time for a new book or a start to a new adventure. She is all smiles.
At "Reality de amor", the last challenge is "Brave for Love". The couples will have to fight fear as they undertake tests of physical ability working as a team. They have to "hand walk" over a pool, walk through a box of mice, climb a wall, put on a wedding lasso. At the end, Gabriel cannot say enough good about Dani. She has a similar declaration of love for him. They win the challenge.
Robert is at home getting upset in Dave's room. He looks at Dave's drawings when there were just the four of them.

At "Reality de amor", the last challenge is "Brave for Love". The couples will have to fight fear as they undertake tests of physical ability working as a team. They have to "hand walk" over a pool, walk through a box of mice, climb a wall, put on a wedding lasso. At the end, Gabriel cannot say enough good about Dani. She has a similar declaration of love for him. They win the challenge.
Robert is at home getting upset in Dave's room. He looks at Dave's drawings when there were just the four of them.

Mi marido tiene más familia Wednesday 12/5/18 Capítulo 62 The End of an Era--OR--"Glued and Feathered"
Catalina is with Tavo talking about how she wants to be the mother that Julieta needs. As she finishes, Tavo informs her that he can no longer be her therapist. Catalina asks if she did something wrong. No, quite the contrary. She has given him a lot of hope. He can recommend another very good psychologist. Catalina assume that they will not be seeing each other again but Tavo has other plans. He wants to keep seeing her but as a friend. Catalina smiles. Tavo explains that he had to let her go as a patient because he has some affection for her. She thanks him for being so professional. She really likes the idea of being friends.
Polita informs Audifaz that she will be supporting Ari even if it means facing off against him. For the umpteenth time, Polita tells Audifaz that it has nothing to do with right or wrong. It is all about supporting his son. He starts lecturing her. She says he treats her like an employee not like his wife. He wants her to come to the Christian center with him so she won't stray from the path like her son did. Polita thinks it would be better if he were to change back to being the loving and caring Audifaz she fell in love with. She asks what the purpose of is learning so many wonderful things in his life if he is never going to use them. There is no response.

Amar a Muerte, 12/5/2018, Episode 25: Coming Home Is So Special

So we left off with Loosey and Leon/Chino/Jacobo (LCJ) arriving home after their “release” (no one can imagine what kind of “release” they really had…but didn’t happen according to Loosey). Johny is interrogating Loosey about what happened between her and LCJ; so she comes back with, “Must I remind you that I was just kidnapped…that we were trying to escape? …What is wrong with you?” As he holds her head (as if wanting to force her real thoughts out of her head), JonEvil admits that she is right and thanks her because no one understands him the way she does…and no one respects him the way she does. Menacingly, he adds that no one knows him the way she does...and if she is lying to him, he’ll kill him. (LCJ) He forces a kiss on her and hugs her, but Loosey wants to take a bath ( as she tries to push herself away)…she needs to take a bath because she is very cold ( and smelly?). As JonEvil releases her and leaves, Loosey looks back at him in horror.

Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 61, Tuesday December 4, 2018; Pancho and Susana Declare their love for one another
After
the judge gives his judgement in Fernando’s favor, Fernando goes to him and
promises that everything will be just fine. Then Julieta goes to embrace David,
crying. “I don’t want you to leave.” Robert has tears in his eyes.
Susana
and Pancho are having a good time at the Guelaguetza festival. Susana looks
very happy and has red carnations in her hair. They dance and have fun watching
the parade through town. It’s almost a Mardi Gras type of celebration with all
the colors and dancing. Susana says that Pancho takes her out of her comfort
zone and she enjoys herself. They enter into a gift shop to get gifts for their
families. She asks Pancho how things are going with his kids, especially Temo.
She relays how she thinks Axel will move out and that one day Sebas will become
a teenager and never speak to her again. They decide on some gifts for the
family. Pancho buys a heart shaped pendant for Susana, so she can keep him near
her heart.

Amar a Muerte, 12/4/2018, Episode 24: It Never Happened, OK? Fer Sure??
Lucía and
Leon/Chino/Jacobo (LCJ) are still in the water enjoying their looong kiss
(while the goons are probably closing in, but they don’t seem to care). As they
continue their passionate kisses, she takes off his shirt; she slips off her
dress…next to come off is her bra (as the water starts to steam). They break
apart briefly, looking into each other’s eyes, then continue their fierce
display of desire. LCJ stops and looks up, as does Lucía, as a flock of birds
flies above. (LCJ relieved that they weren’t giant moths).

the call Lucho told her she shouldn't be talking about this with
someone who is practically a stranger. She indicated she didn't want

Linda is out with Iker at a café for what turns out to be a "book date". He explains that through books we can travel to many different places at the same time. He shows her a couple of classics like "A Thousand and One Nights" and a play by Aeschylus. She is not too excited by those but is interested in a book by Jane Austen, one of the first feminists, that he describes as about a woman who grows up in a time when women had to follow societal norms: marry and be dependent on a man. Linda asks if the character gives up men in the end. Iker explains that she finds a man who challenges her, but in the end excites her as much as he makes he despair. Linda thinks about Axel. She tells Iker she will have to read that one.
Clarisa stops by to say goodbye to Axel. She was good with him but he was just playing her. From now on she will devote herself to someone who really values her. Axel looks happy but a little sad when she leaves.

Montilla has found the cell phones left as a taunt but not the kidnapped Lucia and Jacobo, aka León, aka, Leonchin, aka Jacón, aka Jake. He screams at the underling detective to get the dogs out to track them somewhere up the mountain. Otherwise, if they don't find them and quick their reps have been risked --and lost. They'll be the laughing stock of the whole of Mexico.
It's a smart idea, that, since the kidnappers are running somewhere...but it's to another couple of getaway cars. These miscreant thugs have been to this kind of rodeo a time or two.

Mi marido tiene más familia Friday 11/30/18 Capítulo 59 The Gift of Forgiveness--OR--Crisanta Laughs Last
At school, the students are talking about their characters. Lupita asks Dave why he is so sad. He is just thinking about having two blood related parents and two adopted parents. He asks Lupita is she would like to go get some ice cream after the rehearsal. "Yes!" is Lupita's answer.
Catalina is all upset about Susana stuck in the elevator. Maybe she should call the fire department. What about the meeting? Julieta says that they should just do their work even though the repairmen still haven't arrived. Julieta will fill in for Susana at the meeting. Catalina asks the stars for help.
Pancho and Susana are seated on the floor talking and laughing as he tells jokes. He thinks life itself is an elevator sometimes you're up, sometimes you're down, sometimes you're out of order just like now. He suggests that they talk abut the happiest moments of their lives rather than the worst. He asks Susana what made her happy as a little girl. Susana says when her father made her shrimp sandwiches. For him, it was when he took his first bite of watermelon. They move on to their adult lives. She mentions when her children were born. . . . Pancho mentions when he met his mother. . . . she mentions her first promotion. . . . for him it is the smell of a mango and helping people at the market . . . for her it is the smell of the sea and seeing him again. . .

studying in bed and everywhere he looks, he sees Linda’s face. Her face is on
his laptop, inside his book, and haunting him in the dark. She “says” to him, “Accept
it! You are in love with me.” He puts
the pillow over his head.
Audifáz
writes a letter concerning Ari and says when he repents of his sins, he can
come back. Polita is in the background crying.

Amar a Muerte, 11/29/2018, Episode 21: Games Goons Play OR Colombo Solves the Case of the Missing iPhones

At the goon shack,
Leo/Chi/Jac (LCJ) is about to reveal himself to Lucia when Goon 1 enters with
good news…they are in luck (Rats! there just had to be an interruption!). He
talked to his boss and the boss thinks they should be more practical; they
don’t need to hold both of them since it means more food to bring and more eyes
to watch them. LCJ agrees and tells him they should keep him…it would be more
practical. Goon 1 scoffs and tells LCJ that he knows he wants to be a
superhero, but that role doesn’t fit him well because he is just a simple
chauffeur who is worthless. When Goon 1 asks Lucia if LCJ is her chauffeur or
her lover, she repeats that he is her chauffeur; so Goon 1 tells them that he
is the one to go…they’re not going to let him go…they are going to kill him. As
LCJ is taken away, Lucia cries. Wait ! With
good news like this, don’t tell me the BAD news then.

Leonchi yells at the goons, “What do you want?” The main goon tells him that they are from Cartel de los Armenta and they want someone to pay for the article that was published today.

At the company, Mateo congratulates Palomarez for being so obedient and caving in…he’ll probably be the employee of the month. When Palomarez reminds Mateo that they are only employees, Mateo retorts that what he doesn’t forget is Gaston….who was murdered…and up to a few days ago attended parties with them. Palomarez snaps that when Mateo owns his own newspaper he can do whatever the heck he wants, in the meantime, they have orders to follow. Mateo then tells Palomarez that he sent his article on Gaston to his email so that he can read it and publish it. Palomarez agrees…as long as Eva approves it.

Back at Blanca's house, Audifaz is irate when Robert tells him Ari needs to be happy. Imelda snidely swipes at Audifaz by commenting that this is what happens when a boy doesn't have a masculine role model. Julieta tries to run interference insisting that being gay is not a bad thing. Audifaz blames it all on Temo. Ari says he was born that way. No minds are changed. Robert answers his phone and it is Blanca. She is not being kidnapped because the thieves think that she is some big bad thief herself. She is upset but doesn't think she is in danger. Robert tells her to play along while he gets her cellphone tracked. Robert tells everyone that a band of thieves have mistaken Blanca for one of their own. As they all start getting upset, Robert tells them he needs to find her.

Julieta
sees Blanca go by in a black SUV with Blanca waving and saying “I love you.”
The
lady driving the SUV says she will take Blanca over to the place where the
Reality show is being recorded.
At the
reality show, it turns out that Daniela is just acting as directed for the
show. The crew and other participants
give them a big applause.
Catalina
has an appointment with Tavo. As they finish up, he shakes her hand. Something tells
me she is developing a crush on him. After she leaves, Pancho comes in to see
Tavo. He sits on the couch, but then asks if he should lie down. Tavo tells him
it is not necessary. So Pancho says he will get down to business and be very
direct. He says, “My son confessed to me that he is gay.” They have a conversation
regarding Temo being gay and how Julio does not accept it. Tavo tells him that
family support is needed, or else his son might leave home.

Amar a Muerte, 11/27/2018, Episode 19: Invasion of the Black Moths OR Too Much Wabbit Gives Indigestion
Inside the dark cave, the
black moths fly around as we hear Beltino cry out. Outside Beltino looks at a
very dead Valerio and as the black moths surround him, he runs away. He wanders
around wondering how he is going to get out of there. Meanwhile, Alicia is at the
university looking for Beltino; she thinks something bad must have happened.
Barbara has Sammy sitting
on her lap as she talks to a client who is looking for a lost document. She looks
at Sami hoping that he sees something and stalls until she tells the man his
time is up. After the man leaves, Barbara asks Sami if he didn’t see anything;
and he tells her he was busy talking to Conchita. Barbara’s jaw drops.

*Camilo is continuing the session with Karla explaining transmigration of souls. He uses two chess
pieces to demonstrate, but he can’t explain how it happens. He tells Karla he
wrote a book on reincarnation, which is not the same. She
and Jacobo share something for which he would like an explanation. Karla says
if the objective is for them to pay for their sins now…Cam interrupts. Neither
of them are to blame for any of this. Karla begs to differ. She sees death all
the time. Cam tells her Jacobo does, too. He wonders how far this will go.
Karla doesn’t want to cause anyone else’s death. Cam wants to know if she’s
tried to get in touch with anyone in her family. She shakes her head, no.
*Beltino and Valerio are at
the site of a beautiful waterfall. Valerio does some hokey pokey and sends
Beltino into a cave behind the waterfall. Valerio must stay outside, within the
stone circle to continue with the ritual. Beltino warns him that if something
goes wrong, he can’t guarantee Sammy’s safety. Beltino sheds his outer shirt
and wallet and goes in the swirling waters.
*Barbara, left with the mischievous
little Sammy, is desperately trying to get ahold of Beltrán. She wants to be
rid of Sammy, who’s annoying and hungry all the time. Sam calls attention to
the crystal ball and sees his abuelo. Barb doesn’t see anything.
*Valerio continues to do some magic outside. Weird things are happening inside the cave. A behatted Sta.
Muerte appears, as does a shiny light which envelopes Beltino and helps us to
see what is going on.

At Susana's, Sebas video calls his father and invites him to his school play. Vicente says he will do all that he can to be there. Sebas knows HE won't let him down. He also would love for Vicente to take him to Africa so he could see all of the animals. Susana talks about that not working during the school year. Axel is very quiet and Vicente notices it. He asks is he is upset about a girl that got away. Axel says it is nothing like that and thinks of Linda.
In the girls' dormitory, Linda is looking at pictures of Iker and Axel. Blanca grabs her phone away and declares it is bedtime. Luckily, Linda was looking at Iker. Blanca thinks he is sort of cute and wonders if she likes him. Linda snatches her phone back and asks her mom to stay out of her business. Amar A Muerte, 11/23/18, Episode 17: In Pursuit Of An Answer
Carla, León and El Chino, are each in their own way seeking an answer for their return to the living.
*Lucia, frustrated and confused about her feelings decides to use Alirio as her chauffeur today. She tells the head of security to keep Jacobo occupied doing other things today.

- Downtown at the police station, Fabian and his P.I. arrive and get to meet with Montilla. The P.I. asks for a chance to look through their fingerprint data base to find an "escaped" assassin who is on Interpol's top 10. (Viewerville keeps screaming at the T.V. that the man has already been caught and cooked once for this crime!) Fabian and the P.I. get Montilla's permission.
- Valerio reminds Belchin' that he first has to get the special ingredients for the ritual and then warns him that it is possible the two of them will lose their lives.

Mi marido tiene más familia Friday 11/23/18 Capítulo 54 Moving Right Along with Truths and Tears
The first challenge of " Reality de Amor" is taking place. It is called "Changing Roles". The women have to change a tire and the men iron a dress perfectly. Team Osos wins the first challenge and a night together in a cabin.
Imelda is looking for the show on the laptop and is having a hard time finding it but does. Blanca arrives and Imelda tells her that Dani has gone to Mexico City already. Blanca just wants to drag Daniela home. Tulio wanders in drunk.
Back in the toy store, Susana wants to help Pancho because he helped her so much through the death of her father. She wants him to be able to see a lovely past without all of the pain. Pancho insists there is nothing better than seeing his children happy but they remind him of his Rebeca. Susana explains that each person is an accumulation of memories. Pancho should think of everything that made him smile at the toy shop, not what made him sad. She reminds him that people all around him want him to be happy. She gives him a little horse to remind him of happy endings. They hug and he thanks her.
