56: Life Lessons
Lascuráin
Mansion: Over breakfast Ana tried to make Nando understand that
it wasn't his responsibility to cure Ximena of her problems. She
emphasized that this would be up to Ximena's doctor. Fanny also told
him he couldn't cure her. Nando is under the youthful delusion that
love can cure anything, but even Manuela couldn't let him go on like
this. She explained that she had an aunt with a mental problem and
who ended badly. Ximena could end up the same way. Ana tried to
dispel that bad vibe, both she and Fanny telling Nando once again
that he can't handle this. Ximena has isolated herself in Fanny's
room and isn't eating and this isn't getting any better. She's also
stopped taking her pills. Ana then suggested they go upstairs to
convince her to take them, but Fanny had to leave for work. Ana
blessed her first, she left, and Ana turned to Nando and said they
should go upstairs.

What a breathless week we've had, my dear Reinamaniacs! What's next?
First Izzy and then Lopez 2.0 tracked down one of the Giant Red Diamonds to the sticky-fingered EMT guy. Uh oh.
More Fodder for Crackpot/Crockpot/Colander/Sieve Theorists: Asunción changes her story when she talks to Estefanía -- She knew Estefi's father when she was just a teenager. (Oh ho!) It was later that she married Pedro (el payaso) Ortíz.
Victor leads Christian, The Worst Cop in Las Vegas (TWCILV), by the nose, convincing him that Navier is responsible for the death of the hapless Reina stand-in. Later TWCILV somehow stumbles on the fact that Navier is actually a Secret Agent Man.
Navier, with Boris of Belgium's help, is about to flee the country. At the eleventh hour, Greta spills the frijoles about Christian's murky past -- maybe they can use the secret to help Navier. Femme Fatale Connie Leiva lures TWCILV to her house where Navier is waiting to pounce.

Weekend Discussion: Sob Stories and Snob Stories
The snobbery expressed in telenovelas reminds me of a lot of things I've witnessed in life. I've previously explained some of them, but the baby gift incident in Mi Corazon es Tuyo last night made me remember the following story:
My college buddy recently became a grandfather for the first time (I think he's freaking out about it). I remember when his older daughter was born his now-ex bought her a Laura Ashley nightgown in a thrift shop for $3. It looked absolutely brand new; I'm sure its previous owner barely wore it a handful of times before outgrowing it. She showed it to me and another woman and we commended her on her practicality (which in this case she had learned with their firstborn). She begged us not to tell her husband, who had an issue with thrift shopping. This is the same man who wouldn't have made it to the IBM boardroom for not having attended an Ivy League university.
For a while they drove leased cars (Lexus and Mercedes) until they couldn't afford to continue to do so. It was all downhill from there and he is still recovering. Much of that was her fault 20 years ago but I won't bore you with the details. Interestingly she came from a family with a lot of reverse snobbery.
Tell your tales, amigos, and you can change the names to protect the guilty.

Mi Corazon es Tuyo #55, Two Offers Made, Two Offers Accepted
We start where we left off yesterday with Bunny, (I like this nickname since we don’t know her name yet, thanks to whoever came up with it) making a motion to can poor Fernando. Who’s up for this motion? Vote? The other directors sit nervously playing with their pencils, (snicker, snicker), awkward! Ah, a name. Senora Linda Olalde. Fer says that he’s known her objections of him for a looong time. He knows that all the things that she dislikes in him as a CEO has also paid off handsomely for her in making her over $100 million, but she whines that it could have been $200 million by now. You are going down Fernando, and I will see to it. Not until you have proof of my failings, sweetheart, until then, I’m going home. Child's play! Fer closes the meeting and says adieu. Bunny Olalde snaps her pencil in frustration.

The Old: Cris realizes
that Juliana is so excited about going to San Jacinto because that man (German’s
bio-dad) is there. At the ceremony reception, Uli tearfully tells Acacia that
if she leaves, this time he’s not coming after her.
The New:
Nuria is right there to grab Uli’s attention, and Esteban is
right there to keep stoking Acacia’s ire. Like an overzealous basketball coach,
he tells Acacia how well she’s done—demanding her respect and her proper place
with Uli. Acacia is already starting to have doubts. It is true after all, that
the Municipal President was the one who pressured them to get going and placed
Nuria with Uli. Este dismisses all of that. When a man loves a woman, he does
the impossible. Acacia still has doubts. “Do what you want, but don’t say later
that I didn’t warn you.” Acacia tells him he’s right, and they leave.
Carmen sends Nuria away and talks to Uli. She tells him to
wait till he’s calmed down to talk to Acacia, but for now, he needs to
concentrate on his event/work.
At the hospital, Cris and German talk. She updates him on
the Acacia-Uli problems. German knows how important this day was to the both of
them and asks if he can help. They talk about their art. German tells her about
the paintings he sold to the renovated restaurant—Cris will go see them. Cris
is planning on finally doing that exhibit of her photos. She asks German to
join her, but he knows it will just cause additional fights with Norberto. Norbie
can’t know that he’s still painting. Cris offers to speak to Norbie. German can’t
continue to hide such an important part of himself—his calling/vocation. Cris
loves the painting he did of Ale. They clam up when Norbie walks up.

Hasta el Fin del Mundo #35 20141003 Chava Curses After Hearing Greta's Blessings!
RIPOLL-Patrick and Sofia are in her office having a screaming match! Chava is still a suspect and he wants her to fire him! Patrick is furious that Sophia had the charges against Chava dropped! Sophia swears that Chava is an angel who fell to the earth to deliver all mankind from all that is evil. Patrick tells Sophia to marry Chava if he's so effin' great! He's hurt that she made him look like a fool in front of the employees by taking the chauffer's word over his. He storms out. She doesn't care.
Sophia sits alone in her office remembering all of the wonderful and scary times that she's had with Chava. Patrick has a slight tantrum in his office. He tells us that he will expedite the wedding, bankrupt Ripoll and destroy Chava.
CASA de CRUZ-Aracely, dressed as Donna Reed or June Cleaver, tells Lupe that her relationship with Pedro is officially over. Chava comes home. La Gata #25 10/3/14- La Gala
Hmmm. Interesting. (At least to me) "Gala" has quite a few meanings...all of which seemed to fit for tonight's episode.

Esme doesn't think she could ever be unforgettable. She's just La Gata. Fernando explains there are street cats and salon cats. And now she will be a salon cat. Don't you want the Sra Martinez Negrete to lower herself for you and beg to be friends?

- How long until Centavito and Fela get to live in the mansion? They deserve it.
- What the h*ll is Lowrenza's deal with Monica? She is obsessed with her marrying Pablo. It makes me want to puke.
- Why are we still being subjected to Rita's wrinkly face?
- Can Virginia look any more pitiful when Lowrenza is yelling at her? And am I the only one that thinks Lowrenza's crimes against her daughter are worse than her meddling with Pablo?
- WHAT KIND OF SHOES DID ESMERALDA HAVE ON AT THE GALA????

Sofia visits Chava in jail. Aracely shows up and introduces herself as Chava's ex-novio. Sofia goes back to work with the realization that she has some competition.
Aracely offers to be Chava's lawyer. Chava agrees.
Irma tries to convince Armando to sell the house. In the midst of her harping the phone rings. Irma answers and quickly hangs-up when she realizes she is talking to a voice from her past. The phone rings again. The woman, Martina, warns Irma not to hang up or she'll come to the house. Irma agrees to meet Martina the next day.
Dani hears about the theft at Ripoll and thinks Lucas is the culprit.
Chava goes free from jail due to positive testimony from both Sofia and (surprisingly!) Silvana. Though he is now free, Chava remains under suspicion. Read more »

Mi Corazón Es Tuyo: Just Another Day In The Life.....
Cap 54
• Fernando has given Diego his blessing to pursue Ana. They shake on it. He later tells Fanny. She deals as best she can.
• Don Nicolas is still having difficulty dealing with the reality of his old age and the social restrictions regarding adopting. He and Ana have a heart to heart about it.
• Jens gets a follow-up visit by her OB-Gyne and learns that she still has her ovaries. The wheels start turning in her head. (In vitro fertilization alert! Will Ana be the surrogate mother for her? Hmmm.)

Get better, Mads! We
miss you! Ok folks, just bullet points tonight. Honestly, I don’t know how Mads
does it practically every day for multiple telenovelas.
Rosa, Julie and
Norbie:
-Julie and Norbie insult Rosa and call Luisa a liar. Julie
threatens to have Cris fire and throw Rosa and Luisa out (like that would ever
happen). Rosa leaves despondent, but she’s the only one who kept her dignity in
that conversation. Rubio is actually sympathetic and caring with her. He wants
to teach Manuel a lesson for playing with Luisa. Later, Rosa takes her anger
and despair out on the rugs. Luisa doesn’t know what awaits her when she gets
home!
-Despite Norbie telling her to shut up about the Rosa thing
(he wants Cris to keep paying the hospital bills), Julie tattles to Cris. Cris
basically warns Julie about insulting her peeps, but she will speak to Luisa.
Cris sees no problem with Manuel moving on from Acacia and dating Luisa.
-Cris gives Julie the info for the specialist in San
Jacinto. Julie’s so damn excited, Cris realizes this move to San Jacinto is all
about connecting with German’s bio-daddy. Dr. Andres, meanwhile, has learned
from Uli about Juliana’s son being injured and his operation. He gets a faraway
worried look.
Ale and German:
-Ale is snooping through Danilo’s file at the Association
and learns he really is growing cotton. She quickly hides the file when German
comes to get some papers to take to Norberto at the hospital. They canoodle a
bit, and German asks if she got his note and wants to wake up at his side every
day. Ale drops the Danilo file accidentally, German picks it up, and it’s obvious
Ale was trying to hide it. German gets agitated. He wants to know the truth of
what’s really between her and Danilo! Ale tells part of the truth—that she’s known
Danilo since she was 13; when she left San Jacinto she never saw him again; she
didn’t even know he was living in El Soto; and she wanted to learn more about what
he was doing here. German apologizes for his outburst of jealousy. It’s just
that Danilo seems to know so much about her, while at times he feels that they’re
soul-mates (almas gemelas), and other times like he knows practically nothing
about her. Ale says what’s important is
what they feel for each other- love. Danilo only brings bad memories for her. German,
on the other hand, is the love of her life. But it’s really hard for her to open
up and tell him everything. German asks her to start by telling him why she
took off the ring she always wears. When Ale can’t even do that, he speaks
about trust being fundamental in a relationship. If Ale can’t come to trust him
enough to open up to him, then their relationship will eventually fail.

La Gata #24- Thu 10/2 - La Audiencia
If you missed it yesterday, the episode starts with a replay of most of the fight…and Pablo and Esme smearing her lipstick all over each other's faces. Silencioso pries them apart and decks Pablo. Some cops or security people finally show up to drag Esme and Pablo apart. In all the screaming, once again, no one gets around to saying anything that might resolve this.
Lorenza gets the news from Monica and explains away Pablo's reaction with "Well, he's a man." She blames it all on Esme and begs Monica not to leave Pablo. Monica wants Pablo to be happy, and Lorenza says that Monica is his happiness. I don't think Lorenza understands the meaning of that word.
Back at the house, Esme cries and is comforted by Silencioso, who says those meanies will pay. The maid brings them tea or coffee and gives them a suspicious look.

(Didn’t catch a name, so that’s what you get, old man)
As much as I hate to have anything in common with Isabruja,
this is going to be fast, loose, and dirty:
Where we left off, Ana overhears Isabruja’s rants and
marches in to assure the patrones that she will start sleeping in her own house
straightaway.
Poor little Mau is having a hard time understanding that mama
isn’t coming back.
Bruja is happy Ana is moving out. Fer not so much. Ana tries to convince herself it’s better
this way.

La Malquerida #28, 10/1/2014: Acacia’s Getting Heat on All Sides, Can She Take the Pressure?
Mexico Episode #33
Hello All- You’ve got me again. Mads is still sick. Gloria
is still in the mountains. I won’t go into a lot of detail tonight, except for
a few scenes.
Acacia and the Rock
Esteban tells Acacia that Ulises is not the man for her and
she should dump him, forever. He believes Ulises is just taking advantage of
her and her naiveté. Acacia stands her ground- she and Uli love each other and
know what they want. She acknowledges her youth, immaturity, and jealous
streak, but points out what a good man Ulises is. She gets offended that Este
thinks she’s gullible and stupid enough to be fooled by a bad man. She then
points out her own error in misjudging Esteban. She asks that Esteban take the
time to get to know Uli, just as she finally took the time to get to know
Esteban and realized that he’s a good person. A: I know you’re going to try,
because you love me. E: With all my soul, Acacia. (Creepy!) Acacia says that if
Uli does turn out to be a bad person, she’s the one who has to find out for
herself.
After Acacia clarifies to Cris that she didn’t tell Elena
about her future plans/hopes with Uli because she doesn’t feel close to Cris,
they cry and hug it out. Acacia admits that she did miss having her mom there
every day, but it was her choice to live with the Abuelos because she couldn’t
stand Este. And Cris was there every weekend, every holiday, every important occasion,
and spoke to her on the phone every day. Este comes in, and Cris takes him to
task for his ugly attitude towards Uli. She points out that the bad person he’s
describing would not have risked his life running into a burning building to
save Acacia and Manuel. Acacia is not stupid. She has been surrounded by
good men- gentlemen, her whole life, and knows how to tell the good from the
bad. Plus, Acacia is so impulsive that the harder Este pushes her away from
Uli, the more likely it is that she’ll run off with him. That’s not what Este
wanted to hear. He changes the subject by kissing Cris passionately.
Showing Love, Not
Making Love
Ale and German have apparently been cuddled up in bed all
afternoon, and she’s visibly calmer. She tells him how loved and protected she
feels. They begin to kiss, gently at first, and then with more intensity.
German sits up and looks at Ale with a question in his eyes. She smiles and
nods slightly, and they commence the intense kissing. German pauses again to
remove his long sleeved shirt and to give female Viewerville a gift. Ale is not
immune. She looks at him with pure desire in her eyes, and things begin to get
hot and heavy. German finally lowers himself completely onto Ale, which obviously
dregs up bad memories for Ale. She suddenly pushes him away and declares that
it’s best that they break up! There is a “colorful” term for the condition
German must have in that moment, but we, and he, won’t go there. Instead,
German points out how much he loves Ale and he just wants to demonstrate it,
and he knows/feels in his heart that she loves him too.

La Gata #23- Wed 10/1 - La Transformacion
Hell no we couldn't just put up a discussion post!
We jump RIGHT in to a smooth-haired Esme being adored by Fela, but they're not letting us see her face.
Back at the house, Silencioso tells Esme that from now on she'll have tutors to prepare her for taking her secondary school exams. She won't have to go to night classes anymore. With her gorgeous clean face and her bright red lipstick. Also, Silencioso wants to teach her some stuff too. She almost looks like she's wearing her same black dress and boots…but are these pricier versions of the originals?
Esme rides past the Negrete house in the back of the car, setting Mariano's mixed feelings aflame. He assumes she's Silencioso's new amante (lover). He starts to have thoughts that, hey, since Pablo's out of the picture maybe he could…. But no! In an extensive thought bubble, Mariano puts Esme up on a pedestal as much as Pablo ever did (you know, back in the day, before all the lies) thinking that she's a one-man woman and she'll probably never love anyone other than Pablo. I get the impression that only makes him admire her more.

HEFDM Recap
Hey it's CS, the recap will be up later night!
We begin tonight with Pato conspiring against Chava to Sofi's face but she isn't buying what he's selling.
Matt. says hi to Lucas and that it feels different without Chava around.
Sofi gives Silvie the skinny as she leaves and says for Chava she wants the best lawyer.
Luc. needs to see Silvie and Matt. says for him to be easy on the future mother of his kids.
Silvie and Pato spew their negative venom amongst each themselves and malenergize the room.
Chava is in jail an dis if notified he has a visitor; it's Sofi.
Silvie and Pato pro and con Pato's plot until he says he has a secret qeapon; Queen Bee Greta!
Speak of the devil, Fausto lets Greta know she seems happier and she says she woke up that way. They talk about Alan but Fausto isn't convinced by his story.
Tavares lets Chava out of the cell to talk with Sofi, in an actual room; she KNOWS Chava is innocent.
Pato has shown up at the Ripoll mansion on short notice and that kills Greta's day; jerk has the decency to apologize and he wants to talk.
Silvie is instructing Dani how to do her job. Silvie says she personally loves the way Dani dresses but she needs to uniform it, not wear tennis shoes, pin her hair up and put on a little bit of make-up.
Greta says she doesn't like going behind Sofia and talking with Pato about her situations like that. Greta's not having Pato's games and wants to know what is in the envelope. Pato straight up says it contains proof Sofia's not Octavio Ripoll's daughter and Gret. who now has a look of Fret is alarmed; is it true?
Chava tells Sofi that when he was done with Silvie, he went to go get water and then the police found the money in his bag. He like Lucas swears on his mother that he didn't steal the money and Sofi. believes him.
Pato is bitching some more but Sofi isn't having ANY of that and says that if they're separated due to not seeing eye-to-eye on the whole Chava thing than so be it!

Chava is in jail an dis if notified he has a visitor; it's Sofi.
Silvie and Pato pro and con Pato's plot until he says he has a secret qeapon; Queen Bee Greta!
Speak of the devil, Fausto lets Greta know she seems happier and she says she woke up that way. They talk about Alan but Fausto isn't convinced by his story.
Tavares lets Chava out of the cell to talk with Sofi, in an actual room; she KNOWS Chava is innocent.
Pato has shown up at the Ripoll mansion on short notice and that kills Greta's day; jerk has the decency to apologize and he wants to talk.
Silvie is instructing Dani how to do her job. Silvie says she personally loves the way Dani dresses but she needs to uniform it, not wear tennis shoes, pin her hair up and put on a little bit of make-up.
Greta says she doesn't like going behind Sofia and talking with Pato about her situations like that. Greta's not having Pato's games and wants to know what is in the envelope. Pato straight up says it contains proof Sofia's not Octavio Ripoll's daughter and Gret. who now has a look of Fret is alarmed; is it true?
Chava tells Sofi that when he was done with Silvie, he went to go get water and then the police found the money in his bag. He like Lucas swears on his mother that he didn't steal the money and Sofi. believes him.

Just as Chava and Sofi almost kiss and form one (I call them chOfi) Tavares comes in and so does Araceli.
Pato is leaving his pseudo-sympathetic charm all over Greta like a snail would trail slime on a driveway and unfortunately she is putty in his hands
Tavares excuses himself (too late man) as Chava and 'Li (Araceli's nickname) catch up. He introduced Sofi to her.
Fauntleroy waltzes into Alexa's room and onto her bed; he's so nasty I'm surprised he doesn't leave a streak. He is just babbling and I'm hardly paying attention but he says something about his suegra whom I'm guessing would be Greta (I apologize but Alan is detrimental to my health and forget CS'09, why don't any of you remember Alan as the creepy jerk Jorge who was Marianela and eventually Kristel's beau in Llena de Amor?)
Pato is detrimental to my health as well but eh; he is a charmer with those pechugas of his and that one photo of him in nothing but green converse.
Sofi is pleased to make 'Li's acquaintance.
Luc. is looking for Silvie and inadvertently runs into Dani.
Fausto introduces Pato to Alan (LOL coincidence, I THINK NOT!) and I begin to feel a pit in my stomach. Al asks about the wedding and invites Pato on a double date but Pato rebuffs it since he knows he will be the one stuck with the bill (I like that Pato sees right through him; now if someone could see right through Pato without being manipulated whatsoever GRETA.)
Luc. and Dani flirt on work hours.
IrkMe and Armie are with Renzi, d-e-a-l-i-n-g (read that in the juvenile girly and boy sittin' in a tree song tone; bottom line, Armie isn't buyin' what Renzi's sellin'.)
You know, I had a feeling Greta would end up blackmailed but when she spews her minor venom all over Fausto, that's when I get mad.
Chava and 'Li; Chava knows Pato's behind this.
IrkMe +-_- and Armie =3 argue on the street.
Dani. and Luc. discuss work and Dani said Silvie is chida (she comes off as the person who would have a human skull for a decoration so yeah.) Lucas and Dani kiss as I say aw young love.
Renzi and IrkMe +-__-plot and he makes her pledge she will convince Armie =3 with whatever it takes.
Greta caresses a picture of Sofia and we flashback to see Baby Sofi and the skinny Greta received on how to raise her.

RIPOLL: Now in police custody, Chava tells his sobbing sister not to be afraid and asks Matias to take care of her and his mother. After the cruiser leaves the curb, Marisol collapses at the gate. Both Lucas and Matias kneel to comfort her, but Matias shoves Lucas away and continues to comfort her by himself.
While everyone is outside, in Silvanna's office, Patrick and Silvanna celebrate his success in setting up Chava by making out.
A while later, Patrick returns to Silvanna's office with the DNA results. It's official! Sophia did not spew forth from the loins of Octavio. Patrick laughs maniacally. Silvanna congratulates him for having Greta in the palm of his hand.

Madelaine is sick with the flu, and Gloria is frolicking in
the mountains, so I’m filling in tonight. And boy, was this episode a doozy! In
an effort to capture tonight’s important confrontations, I made this recap
detailed. Let’s get on with it!
The Old:
In the church, Perla and Alejandra argue loudly about the Danilo
situation. Perla refuses to come with Ale to denounce Dan, and blames Ale for
everything that went wrong after she took off with the merchandise—Danilo getting
beat down by his bosses, left lame, and without his business. She tells Ale
that Danilo is coming after her to kill her, and she better run.
The New:
Esteban is drinking in his office and breathing heavy after
hearing that Acacia and Ulises have been having the marriage talk. His perv
confidant Rubio comes in and Este pounds his fist on the desk and says Acacia
can’t be Ulises’, or ANY man’s! Rubio tries to talk sense into Este and tells
him that he and Acacia can’t live under the same roof. Este says all he needs
to do is keep control of himself. He says this while grabbing Rubio’s lapels and
breathing heavy. Yeah…how’s that “getting in control of yourself” plan working
out, Este? Rubio leaves.
The real Church ladies have gotten tired of the two
inappropriately dressed women screeching at each other, and make a beeline
towards the back of the church for the Padre. Perla says we do what we have to
do, to survive. Ale’s not having it. Perla can go on being exploited if she
wants, but Ale has had the taste of a decent life, and she sure as heck won’t
let Danilo steal it from her! The Padre interrupts before things become heated
again. Perla covers up her boobs, and Ale stands up, points to Perla, and yells
that Perla is the woman of the man who exploited her! Perla hustles out of the
church quickly, and says it’s Ale’s funeral because Dan is coming to kill her.

Nico throws the towel on Jenn (he has her lip kiss prints all over his face’… she will bring him some cake she has around. (he comments ‘this woman is a beast’ and she replies she heard him LOL!)
Isa goes to fetch Fernando at library… She reminds Fernando Ana must be having a great time with his brother… they make a great couple, don’t you think? They are both liberal, extroverted… i can imagine them backpacking semi-nude in the middle of the jungle… ‘ She suggests they go to bedroom… sorry Isa, even if you try to massage and give him a preview, he is just not that into you… he comes up with the excuse that his son Sebas is out on the street. Isa asks Fer if it is time to take the painting of him and Fanny off the wall. He just replies ‘No.’ (take that, bruja!!)
The guy who Leon got off Fanny when they met is the DJ at some club. There is Sebas in the middle of teenage girls who are clearly older than him. Poor guy is about to be stepped on… but he is real happy to be there.
Erasmo the driver calls Fernando’s cell. Fernando is very impactado to hear his son escaped.
At scalpore, Bruno keeps admiring Manuela’s cleavage. She pulls his chin up so his eyes look at her face… LOL! He mentions the devil arriving and then blows on her chest… she asks him how long has she been running after his jacket tails… he doesn’t know. She says she is tired. He begs her not to go. ‘Today you will understand one of my mysteries’.

Before Fernando can launch into his sales pitch, Jarocha tells him Gata's in desperate need of his help. Gata apologizes for having caused a scene, but Fernando thinks she needs understanding and affection. Jarocha decides to leave them alone.
Garabato hits on some other girl and gets caught by Ines. She, of course, takes it out on the other girl.
Fernando sees Gata's inner light…she gives his life meaning. He tells her about the pain in his life since he lost his wife and daughter. He figures guys are always into her for sexual reasons (he doesn't say it like that, though) but he's interested in being her daddy, minus the sugar. He wants to give her and the kids everything they need, so she can show Pablo that she doesn't need him. He wants to humiliate the Negretes and raise Esme up like a queen. She keeps resisting. Fernando tells her that Agustin took everything from him and his revenge will be her revenge.

Skipping the old....
Acacia comes back from her trip to see Ulises. Cris wants to know what happened. Acacia believes Ulises is with another. Elena asks why she thinks that. Acacia babbles that Ulises took a long time with that girl over dinner last night and today they were laughing and carrying on. Cris tries to explain to this immature child that all this doesn't mean anything. Acacia tells Cris to talk to Esteban, he saw everything.
Danilo is at the hacienda talking to Esteban. Esteban reminds Danilo that the association is a serious organization.
Ale asks for Luisa. She wants to eat lunch with her. Rosa tells her to eat with the family and stop coming in through the servants entrance. She's a visitor but Ale feels comfortable with the way things are. Rosa leaves and El Rubio comes in. Ale wants to know why he was in her room. A man came looking for Esteban and I wanted you to know. Ale says it doesn't matter. If he does it again, she will tell Esteban.

Finally (and it can't be too soon for some of us) En Otra Piel ends tonight (Monday). Tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9pm, Los Miserables, based on the 1862 Victor Hugo novel which, according to IMdb, has already been made into at least 14 movies, the earliest dating back to 1909, 4 TV miniseries, a musical and a movie of a musical gets a new life as a telenovela. At 10pm Señora Acero starts its first full week.

Bela Gets The Blues (As Her Due)
Let us JIP (J=join in progress) as Don Nicolas’s bride to be,
La Jennifer, makes a “naughty night” date with Nic. (E.D. PSA alert!) Nerdando
comes downstairs with a smile the size of the DF anticipating his own
naughty night date with Ximena. The two
end up comparing their respective upcoming night of nookie and Nerdando admits
he’s still a virgin. Don Nico says that
at his age with a woman like Jennifer he might as well still be a virgin
himself. (Sorry, but a serious young man discussing losing his virginity
with his parental units or even his grand parental units is more than I can
stomach. –N-n-nb-b-t-t-t-t!!! Oh well, the whole storyline here is more
than I can stomach. And my beanie is out
for repairs. Let’s continue…..)
Even weirder discussion ensues as Nico tells
his 17 year old grandson that he’s got an appointment that morning to see about
adopting a baby for Jens. (Guess the old
guy’s so rich he figures he can buy his way through anything. Anyway, what is some 70- something old fart
doing bringing a baby home like a kitten or puppy from the county pound?? He’d probably be pushing up daisies and
Mexican heather long before the kid gets out of junior high, even. Why does he think that should be fair for a
child?? Crap! Why doesn’t the old toe-sucker get his rocks
off once in a while with his trophy wife, courtesy of the little blue pill, and
count his blessings such as they are?)

Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #30:
Hola Amiguis: Sofia is on her way to Brasil. Before she goes Pato is wanting some sugar. She goes to kiss his cheek and gets a whiff of perfume. She asks Pato why that is. Ahem there were two women in this meeting and also Sivana When he says Silvana she gets a funny look on her face. She ends up going. Here is the earworm for Chava and SofieHow Do I Live
Sofie goes home and has a chat with Alexa She gives Alexa her check for her work on the Chica Ripoll campaign. Sofia wants her to give up this pipe dream of going back to Spain and to stay here and work for her at Ripoll. She compliments Alexa on her creativity and talent. I also think that Sofie is on to Alan.
Alexa goes to see Dani next, and tells her about her convo with Sofie. Dani says that Sofia gives good advice. Dani is actually studying, who knew.
MIguelina has a chat with Lucas. He is liking his work at Ripoll and has found a brother kind of there named Mittias, and yes, he has a novia, but he doesn't say who.
Chava and Sofie are having a sad goodbye. She will miss him, as he will miss her, but she has a new job for him while she's gone, he'll be under Pato's thumb, well not that, but he will be working for Pato. Poor Chava doesn't like it but Sofie assures him it will be alright, yeah right Oh, and Pato will be taking Sofie to the airport, more's the pity.

La Malqerida, capitulo 25. 09/26/14
Norberto is angry with Danilo for going to his house. Danilo wanted to talk business but Norberto reminds him it's only done at the office. Danilo came to finish talking about their business from last night. He understands that Norberto needs cotton and he is willing to sell it to him. After all, they are buddies. Norberto gives him the stink eye.

Sofia tells Chava he can take a shower to clean off. So he goes to do that. Sofia is leaving for Brasil shortly, I wonder if Pato is going with her. Crap! Sofia goes down to check on Chava, he is buck nakkid and covers his head with the towel, too funny. Sofia is embarrased and he finally realizes she can see everything. He covers himself but drops the towel. She squees and he apologizes to her. The only women folk that have seen him nakkid is his Mama and Marisol when he was younger that is. Sofia goes and runs to the study and tells Fausto what she has seen. He laughs and also says oh the gods on Mt Olympus. Too funny. I guess she has never seen a nakkid guy before. Hmmmm......
Marisol and Lupe are making amends over a cup of delecious hot chocolate. How sweet. Lupe assures Marisol she is not reuniting with the infeliz, Marisol is juat happy that her Mom forgave her for all the bad things she said to her.
Greta and Dani are also making amends. Dani apologizes to Greta and Greta also apoligizes th Dani. They love each other muchly. Greta finally allows Dani to have her computer and cell phone back. I think Dani will now toe the line.
Armie and Alexa and Little Lord Fauntleroy are about to leave, when Armie gets a phone call from Nando's school. He's sick and needs to be picked up.
Renzi and Irma are talking, although he is flirting with her. Renzi is checking out her boobage and she remind him she is a mother and she has a guy. Her phone goes off snd she doesn't answer. That call is

Este and Acacia are off to Cuidad Real to take care of bidnez with that Pieralta guy. When they meet with him he immediately goes off on Acacia, what a jerk, calling her inexperienced and how could Este leave this child in charge of so important a bidnez deal. Este has gives it back to this guy , he tells this Peirata guy that he is talking to the daughter of the duena of the Hacienda and not just a nobody. Acacia wants to go, but Este has her stay. This Peiralta guy is a true putz. His cell phone keeps going off, and he is constantly walking out of this meeting to take the calls. We just know who keeps burning up his phone, it's Norbie of course. Well, Norbie too is unable to fulfill this order, cause he doesn't have that amount of cotton, nor is he able to get it yet. Peiralta is giving Este grief that this cotton is destined for The United States and they are holding his feet to the fire, and he'll have to pay a huge fine. Which will get passed on to Este of course. Este will do what he can.

I’m back home this week for my brother’s wedding, so this recap has been written in bits and pieces whenever I had the chance to run away from my noisy (although lovable) family. I hope I didn’t forget any important details. If I have, please add whatever you think is significant in the comments.

Do you still have to write thank you cards for the wedding presents if you get a divorce three days after the wedding? Do you even have the time to do that?
Fernando is telling Bruno that he is still in love with Ana, but it’s not like he’s harboring any type of hope of a future reunion. He is married and she is involved with Diego, who is his brother AND is truly in love with her. She is unlike any other women that Diego has ever been with, so Fer truly believes that this time his feelings are for real - so he can’t get in the middle of that and hurt his brother. Besides, Diego is handsome and a good guy, he is the best candidate to win Ana’s heart.
Bruno doesn’t believe that all hope is lost. With all due respect, he doesn’t understand why Fer had to marry Isabella; he could have taken care of the child without making her his wife. (Viewerville is applauding Bruno for calling it as it is, even if he is trying to be very tactful about it).
Yes, but Fer wants his new baby to feel like it’s part of a real family.
OK, then, Bruno insists, but there is always divorce… There are plenty of kids out there with divorced parents that are OK. Because as far as he’s concerned, this marriage was un grave error. (Viewerville cheers, Bruno might be getting a honorary member card). Fernando goes hmmm… Could he have a light bulb moment?
After they finish their chat about Ana, Fer invites his only friend, el majordomo, to join him to watch Johnny's stand-up. Isa is not home yet, so... boys night out?
But Isabella IS at home and she hears the first part of their conversation and runs to her mother’s bedroom, kicking and screaming after. She knocks on the door and is very loud, Diego sees her but doesn’t stick around to figure out what happened. He goes downstairs where Ana is waiting for him so they can go to the bar to watch Johnny's show. Their banter downstairs about taking the moto is really cute, Ana is at least warming up to him.
Upstairs Isabella is still crying like a little child over the fact that Fernando doesn’t love her because he still loves Ana. Yola doesn’t want to comfort her daughter, she just points out the fact that having all these loving, human feelings are only getting in the way. Their purpose was the Lascurain fortune, which they now have, so Isa needs to stop crying, because that won’t solve anything.

La Gata #19- Thu 9/25 - La Llegada
Gata gets right to the point--she needs money for the kids. Don Italiano was hoping they could take things slow. That's ok, though, he can live without romance as long as she agrees to be a decent wife to him…and maybe give him a little love. They're not off to a good start when Gata turns her face instead of kissing him. Damian shows up before Meatball gets too violent…but it looks like Damian might be bringing the violence.
Rita and Jarocha argue because Rita's an evil old hag. A selfish, evil old hag. A selfish, evil old hag who uses people.
Gata gets yelled at by both guys. Both guys yell at each other. Damian headbutts Meatball. I guess he's a meat patty now. Damnit, Damian, you've already got a record for assault! Gata keeps pleading with Damian that she needs the money for the kids, but instead of just telling her that he's going to give her money, he keeps telling her not to make a deal with Meatball. Meatball says this is a "now or never" offer. This is a lot of arguing back and forth that's going nowhere. Damian finally hauls Gata out of the pizzeria while Meatball yells at her that she's stupid.

Fanny says really what makes me upset is to think of Mau, Leon’s son. I know what it feels like to lose your mother. Saw the painting at my house? My mom was a beautiful person inside and out. Reeky (I am sure it is a lie) says his mom died too, and his dad is ill, had an embolism (embolia). He was my partner, my friend, my hero… and now he can’t even talk… (wow, good acting from this jerk)
Yomama calls Isa a cynic… Isa brushes it off to YoMama as ‘'asi es la vida' (that's life). YoMama asks ‘then why did you split your legs (aflojaste) for him??' Isa replies it was a few days before and a few days after the weekend at Malinalco with Fernando. YoMama is more and more upset the more she hears. ‘I feel like a piano just fell over me.. No! .. No!’ She wants a triple Margarita from the waiter. YoMama gets even more scared when she learns Reeky knows about Isa's pregnancy. 'Then why did you recommend him to Fernando as your replacement' 'What do you mean why?? Because Reeky knows about our plan!!' … 'No, no.. no manches (don’t tell me).' 'What plan?? (as in DUH!) The plan to strip Fernando dry of his money! (to sum the rest up, YoMama ends up pulling on Isa’s ear… 'Reeky could be our demise… if Fer finds out, we won’t end on the street, we will end up… and I will lose this great(tan rica) bed!.. Waiter!!'.
The twins and Luz are helping Ana finish the dress… the twins say it still does not look like a princess. Ana asks then what do we do? Luz suggests a crown/tiara… they all jump for joy at the idea.
Ana goes to talk to Fanny… how is your heart? Fanny says she feels she will never be able to put the pieces back together. Ana gives her some encouragement… she has a very good glue (gives her a big hug)… pega cachitos del Corazon (a glue specifically to put a heart back together)… muy apachurrante (very squeezy) (Ana gives Fanny a very nice strong hug of support and then whispers in her ear… ' Time always heals… when you feel sad and sensible, you have your BFF-Nana… or the Nana-BFF… a confident who will be with you always.. love ya' (AWWWWW... she has nothing to envy of any real mom there... Ana, don't change anything when you become her real 'new mom' as Luz said)

Ana goes to kitchen for a tea. Fernando finds her there, he is in his pj’s. She ALMOST tells him the details about the bad guys at the club, but stops herself. Then she tells him about Tamara’s accident with the kid and that Fanny was there to support Leon. Fernando is sad to hear what happened.
Isa in bed mistakes one of the twins with Fer. She gets sick about it and gets up to go find Fernando. She peeks through some square hole from hallway to kitchen… watches as Fer and Ana have the same conversation of usual ‘you do so much for the kids… you love them… don’t know what we would do without you’. / ‘don’t know what I would do without you all’. He holds her hand and they are AGAIN about to kiss…. Isa has witnessed all this through the square window… Ana notices there is ‘someone in the window’. Fer goes out to look, Isa runs and hides… He doesn’t find anyone… Ana cuts their midnite meeting short… when she walks out, she can smell Isa’s perfume. (que asco! … yuck!)

Ripoll: Chava runs around the car, but Sophia has already
opened the passenger door. As she steps
out, she drops her brief case and some papers on the cobblestone. Their eyes meet as both bend down to retrieve
them. While they struggle to resist
feasting upon the lips of the other, I struggle to find something…anything…attractive
about Chava. Maybe squinting and
ingesting several shots of tequila will work. Naw!
In the conference room, later on that morning, Chava and
Sophia get an unexpected visit from the fuzz.
The commander has come to freak Sophia out by telling her that they have
identified two of the kidnappers. The
master mind is still at large and they believe that he or she remains in
town. The vehicles were stolen by the perps
the night before; however, they abandoned the vehicles and left no prints. He wants Chava to view some
security footage about the men who may have jacked up his race car. Chava reviews the videos with the fuzz, but
the perps don’t show their faces. Something
about one of them looks familiar to Chava, but he can’t put his finger on
it. Chava is surprised that the men are
wearing uniforms and were able to easily enter the garage. The fuzz says they are pros.

La Gata #17 Tuesday 9/23/14 La Lentitud
Watching this episode felt like a ride with a teenager who hasn't mastered the use of the accelerator: inconsistent pacing. Hubs is chomping at the bits to watch some TV, so this is going to be short, maybe not so sweet and scattered. Please fill in as needed.
La Pulmonía
After Pablo's day out without his coat, he's contracted pneumonia. He's put in the hospital. Lorenza is called. She rushes to his side. He mumbles incoherently about Esmeralda. Lorenza gnashes her teeth.
La Revelación
Rita tells La Gata about her mom and gives her the letters her father wrote. In them he professes his love and begs Blanca (was that her name?) not to visit him. Although knowing that his wife and child are alive gives him hope, he doesn't want his child to know where he is. When Gata asks Rita about this, Rita tells her that her mom made her swear on her deathbed to never tell her. (Yikes, what an awkward bit of writing on my part.)

Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #26 9/22/14 There's Something about Chava...
Yikes! It's officially Autumn! The captions on this episode were lagging behind so I'm not sure of some of the dialogue, especially the dinner scene. If I made any mistakes please feel free to fill in or correct in the comments. On to the recap!
From Friday:
Marisol and Lucas meet in the break room.
Chava and Sofia arrive at the racetrack.
New:
Chava tells Sofia how much he loves the passion, speed, and adrenaline rush of the racetrack. She loves it too! He introduces her to his friend Tato. Tato jokes that he thought Chava forgot about his racing buddies at the track and, looking at Sofia, he can see why. Chava corrects him, Sofia is his boss.

La Gata #16- Mon 9/22 - La Generosidad
Today's episode starts with a flustered Lorenza remembering the smack heard 'round Viewerville. I ignore her ranting while I smile at how satisfying that was.
Mercedes chews out Jarocha for following Damian's violent example and says they're only hurting Esmeralda. Mercedes is worried about what's going to happen to Esme now and Jarocha says she'll have to go back to begging so she can feed the kids.
Right now, though, she's still in the hospital, hanging out with her chamacos (kids) and the only two galanes on this show--Damian and Carlos. Carlos and Esme are both similarly reluctant to ever love again. Carlos is nervous about carrying the babies, but he, like Damian is determined to help her with the kids.

Mi Corazon Es Tuyo # 45, Luz to the Rescue
We start where we left off, Tamara slaps Fanny for having a relationship with Leon. Who slaps a person like that? Does she think she’s on Jerry Springer? But out of no where Ximena comes to the rescue and pulls her off. Why is Ximena at the corporate campus?
Luz shows Ana a loose tooth and Lichis is thinking about her guateque (new word for me; party). Ana says that she needs to dance a vals (waltz) with her father and then Ana remembers her dance with him and gets all emotional.
Fanny is in a meeting with Fer, Isa and Enrique to discuss being his assistant. She’s not keen on the idea and acts like a spoiled daughter of the president. She left the university because she didn’t want to go into business administration. Then explain to us why you took a job working in business administration? Enrique suggests meeting in his office to figure out what she would like to do.

Skipping the old.....
Acacia is telling the grandparents about managing the hacienda while Cris and Esteban are on their honeymoon. Norberto eavesdrops on the conversation. He finally walks in looking for a watch he left at the wedding. Acacia leaves to ask Rosa about it and Norberto takes the opportunity to tell the grandparents that if Acacia needs any help managing the hacienda, to contact him. Luisa comes in with the watch and Norberto leaves.
Norberto is eavesdropping on the conversation that Acacia is having with the grandparents when Ale strolls on up. Norberto explains he came looking for his watch that he left at the wedding. They talk about someone needing to make blankets or whatever. Anyway, Norberto reiterates that if Acacia needs any help managing the hacienda to contact him.
Juan Carlos advises Acacia to keep quiet about the going on's at the hacienda. He doesn't want anyone all up in their business. Acacia leaves to get lunch and Elena asks Juan Carlos why he said that. He knows Norberto is trying to take advantage since he tried before with Cris when Alonso died.
Juliana visits an exclusive hair salon. She wants a new look now that her life will be changing forever. I wonder if they can remove the permanent pissy face that she always wears.

La Gata #15- Fri 9/19 - La Liberación
Here it is folks! Recap is below the page break. I had trouble deciding on a title (La Caída? La Operación? La Pelea?) I even thought about using the title La Frustración to reflect my feelings tonight. I like those crazy kids Pablo Pan and Esmeralda so much and dagnabit they can't seem to get it together! Why is Pablo talking to Monica like he's in a position to start another relationship? You're married!!! Why are the writers forgetting that it's 2014? Surely there are ELECTRONIC copies of marriage certificates? Who cares if Mariano has a paper copy?
Ultimately, I decided on the event that made me really happy. El Silencioso is free and ready to exact some revenge. Hurry up, Fernando "El Silencioso" de la Cruz. Your family needs you! Gringo, David and I are smelting ores and making anvils. We will give them to you for FREE. Just drop them on Rita, Ugh-ie (can't remember who started this one, but kudos) and Lorenza.

There was a contest on who could be the bigger, stronger man, and while Sofia watches from the sidelines, with Chava driving, Pato manages to push that car out of the mud. Pato gets a huge kiss from his tesoro (Sofia) and what does Chava get? A thanks very much and you can go home now! Chava is so very disappointed, but what choice has he got? Pato is going with Sofia to the country home to clean up. he is covered in mud after all. As Sofia and Pato drive off, Sofia is looking longing at Chava, and Chava is so sad. But what choice does Chava have? He leaves.
These two are so cute. Wake up Sofia! You really aren't Pato's Tesoro!

Navier crashes what was already a doomed to be miserable birthday bash. He has brought Reina a gift - not sure what it was exactly but looked to me like it was an expensive bracelet. Reina thanks him for the gift and puts it down.
"Darling look who it is" she tells Victor. She refers to Navier as cuñado [brother in law] and sarcastically thanks him for coming. "You'll have to tell me all about your European vacation" she tells him sarcastically. Sure thing! Why the three of them [Reina, Victor, & Navier] can have dinner together and he can tell them all about his vacation. Reina sarcastically says "that would be wonderful" and she excuses herself to go and greet the other guests. Victor sarcastically welcomes back his little bro.
JJ has crashed the birthday bash as well. JJ and Susana spot each other.

My apologies, gang, but night before last the hubster went into emergency surgery. So I'm still playing catch up after being awake a full 24 hrs and having to racing off to work despite the family situation--and yes, some employers these days are mass-governed by computerized machinery programs that don't account for the human element At. All!! So, in order to keep one's employment you show up or you are shown the door..... Thus, a bullet pointer of the show will be posted, but later than any of us would have liked. --ed.

Cris and Este are about to go. Cris is happy that Uli is going to be alrght. Acacia is in charge of the Hacienda while Cris and Este are gone, sort of a trial by fire, and to rely on Rubio, oh, noes!
My eyes, my eyes! It's Manuel and Luisa and it looks like they are in the garage. Manuel's shirt is unbuttoned and it looks like Maybe so are the first two buttons of Luisa's dress, don't look Gringo! Rubio catches Luisa in time before she does somthing really foolish and tells her Rosa is looking for her and Este comes just in in time and tells Manuel he's gotta go! Rubio is tasked with putting the suitcases in the car.
Art and Rosa are in the kitchen when Luisa comes in and Rubio sees the way that Art is looking at Luisa. He isn't pleased. He loudly says he'll tell Rosa about Luis's kiss with Manuel and Rosa has a cow. Rubio is very happy to give Rosa the chisme.
Juan Carlos and Elena wish Este a great honeymoon. Ulie even comes to speak to Este and Este reminds him that Acacia will not be alone there. Cris is ready to get going.
Ale and German and he's comforting her. Ale says she's okay, really. She thanks him for taking care of her and German goes, Ale cries.
Such a good guy. I want Ale to tell him so that he can protect her from Swine.
