Pablo tells Mariano maybe he could offer Gata the life he couldn’t. Then, he gives up and tells his baffled bro to take him to the church.

A throng of people flaunt their festive attire on the church steps. A group of girls in bright aqua could be bridesmaids, while the bride’s mother wears red and groom’s mother orange-red. Isa questions the ‘revelation’… Isa asks Yomama if her dad knew. Nope, she kept the secret. Neither Isa nor Ana are jumping for joy about being siblings. Isa even demands Ana still see and talk to her as ‘Mrs Lascurain’. YoMama asks Isa to be a bit more understanding with Ana… Isa follows the lead and says will be difficult… YoMama says she is tired… Isa comments that now that we realize we are sisters we are rivals in love. Ana does not want to go there right now… Ana asks YoMama to sing the song one more time (really, Ana?? You need that??) once Ana leaves, Isa enjoys the comedy they just pulled. YoMama not so much. ‘you owe me’.
In her room, Ana is totally devastated, calls Jenny, need to see you right now. Jenny is up. Ana leaves to meet her.
Ana arrives at her house… Johnny is there, shows her the picture of that poster girl. Ana admits she is pretty but does not approve her appearance. Jenn comes out, Ana tells her what happened with Ana. Johnny ends up staying there. When Ana tells them about it they both are suspicious… Jennifer seems the smarter one noticing that it was not until Ana hinted Yomama about Ecatepec and the orphanage she was abandoned at and YoMama was like ‘yeah that!’… they ask Ana if YoMama said she had Isa before or after Ana… Ana comments that Isa uses expensive hand cream, maybe that makes her look younger… They suggest Ana get a DNA test on YoMama.

-Esteban throws Norberto around the office and manages to
give him a good gut punch before Cris breaks it up and yells at them both to
calm down. She still refuses to back down on supporting German. Esteban tells
her to leave the office, in a way that tells her she better do it. Norbie
gulps, but luckily for him Esteban has calmed down enough to make his point
with words, and not with fists. Norbie will never raise his hand to Esteban’s
mujer again!
-Esteban can’t believe Norbie fired German and Alejandra.
The Association meeting is coming up in a couple of days. Panicked growers are
calling wondering if the meeting’s been cancelled. Esteban is the President,
and HE makes the decisions! He’s also the one who does all the public
relations, while German runs the operations, and Ale does all the
administration (it’s clear that Norbie does nothing). Norbie admits that German
was even going to write his speech for him. He seems to give in to Este’s order
to hire back German and Ale.

Silvie realizes that ever since Chava began to work for her, Sofi's changed a lot and Sofi concurs.
Dani comes into the Ripoll Mansion floating and in a Sally Sunshine mood. She plops on her bed and belts out her and Lucas' song, "Y NO PUEDO DEJAR DE PENSAR UN MINUTO EN TU SONRISA! (I won't lie, I recently saw my 2-yr. lost/re-encountered-March-18-2014 love and after walking up to his school, I started singing it quietly.) Greta tries to fart all over the breath of fresh air in order to relieve herself of stress but in a sweet way Dani shows she isn't havin' that and first dawdles in giving the slim on that she went horseback riding; Greta's perplexed and finally...Dani lets it out with the most glee I've ever seen that she made love with the boy she loves! Greta has certainly relieved that gas and soiled herself right about now but can hardly utter a word.

Marina and IrkMe squawk at each other and Armie comes in curious.
Alexa says Armie has nothing to do with her leaving and says he is married and surely loves IrkMe. Fausto says real love is pursued with fire (a passionate flame fire I assume.)

Amigos- I'm running to an early meeting, and I'm not sure if Gloria was able to do a recap last night. If she does, I'll post it here later.
Last night:
-German did NOT get stabbbed! He takes the knife from Norberto, packs up his remaining paintings, clothes, and the car he bought with the money HE made at the Association (paid by Esteban), because Norberto never paid him for any of his work, and leaves with his dignity...to spend the night at the hospital with his brother. WORST DAY EVER!
-Norberto slimes all over Juliana, she rejects him, he says she'll come crawling to him when she needs money, he pays a visit to Julianita.
-Julianita gets roughed up by Danilo when she dares to dream about becoming the next Mrs. Norberto and leaving this life behind. He reminds her that she belongs to him.
-Dan calls Ale to make sure she dumped German and told him the lie about her dad sexually abusing her.
-Ale seems to be ready to fly the coop and leave her good man and new family behind.
-Both Juliana and Perla sign contracts on A2. Nuria lies to Ulises that she sold Juliana another space.
-Juliana and Manual try to convince German to give up his art so that Norbie will accept him back into the family. He won't budge.
-Acacia and Cris return home. Esteban seems determined to distance himself from Acacia. She's all over him seeking his approval for her reconciliation with Uli, and trying to get him to teach her some horse riding tricks/skills. He refuses the lessons saying he'll be too busy. She pouts and touches him too much.
-Cris returns the letter to Luisa. She's heartbroken but seems to accept that Manuel is not for her. She says Arturo is just a friend when both Cris and Acacia point out that he's a great catch and they think he likes her.
-Rosa has agreed to help Art and Luisa with their upcoming event. They're going to cook in Uli's little house. Art is totally going for it with Luisa. Uli approves.
-Norberto brings the full hospital bill to Cris and Este, and wants it all right now, so that Manuel can be released from the hospital today. Este thought the plan was for Norberto to pay and for them to pay him in installments. Norberto knows they don't currently have that liquidity with all the debts they've had to pay recently. Norbie doesn't care. AND he demands that Cris remove her support of German for the art show. Cris refuses. Este demands that Norb apologize to Cris for getting brusque with her in the hospital the other day. Norbie hesitates and makes the mistake of admitting that he actually raised his hands to Cris. Este loses it! He pins Norb against the wall and asks how dare he raise his hands to his wife!

OK Coral: Dani and Lucas go horseback riding. They make-out everywhere. The only thing that we learn from them is
that Dani is a virgin and that Lucas will wait until she’s ready to have sex. Their scenes were uneventful and were
only useful for catching up on my notes on the other scene.
Snob Hill: Aurora runs into the kitchen and tells
the family that Allan has arrived, but unfortunately he’s been beaten only within an
inch of his life. Greta calls a doctor.
(Alexa’s Bedroom) Alan explains to Greta, Fausto and Alexa
that he was out scouting movie sets when he resisted a robbery attempt. After
Greta and Fausto leave, Alan tells Alexa that Manolo and his thugs beat
him. They are still in danger and have
to leave town immediately! Alexa says
leaving town won’t cancel their debt.

Mi Corazon Es tuyo #62 Martes 14 Oct 2014 Hey Brujas!! how low can you go??

Fernando starts the breakfast flour food fight in the kitchen with the kids and Brianna… Brianna asks Alicia why he changed, Alicia comments that Ana had to do with it. He dumps the whole bowl of dry flour on Alicia’s head… she shakes it off…
That sounds like a really fun kitchen to be in…
Fanny and Laura arrive to visit Ximena, at first she is angry but when she finds out it is them she is really happy… (bipolar for sure!)
Leon and Reina the tricolor hair girl with Mau at the birthday.. he is depressed about Fanny. She confesses her feelings to Leon and kisses him.
Diego with Ana climbing rocks out in the woods somewhere… Ana asks him to give her some TLC… he helps her to the top of the rock, she yells for him to grab her, he grabs her alright and plants a smooch on her for good measure.

Ana gets a bit fearful, she does not want to drop down the rock on the rope… she starts praying… he asks for a kiss, she offers a slap instead. But she does go down alongside him. He teaches her as they go. Where did you learn to do this? The Himalayas. And then he mentions that a friend did not go down the ‘healthy/safe’ way. Then he metaphors about how people deal with their problems. ‘why di you jump like a toad?’ then she lets go and falls… he yells her name. he comes down. She’s alright. (is anyone getting the déjà-vu from the beginning of Refugio? Phew! Not the same outcome… thank goodness)
Diego cracks up laughing, she is not very appreciative of that. She yells at him to get her down already!
The girls ask Ximena ‘when are you going to leave here?’ ‘ when I stop being dangerous for others’. Seems Ximena has learned a few lessons, like money is not everything. Fanny asks if the meds are working. Ximena does not want to talk about that. Ximena changes subject, how about Leon? Now it is Fanny who does not want to talk about it. What about Reeky? Didn’t you dance with him? Yes but Equis! He is my boss and as old as my dad.. Hello!
Diego asks Ana if she thinks he would have invited her without it being safe. He keeps insisting with the I love yous. With me you will always be safe. She is starting to like this relationship better, gets more into the kisses.
Leon did not appreciate Reina’s kiss. He is totally clueless… Reina gets a bit flustered at his reacting like a teenage virgin kid. Do you need a dictionary? I like you very much. Since we were about 12. Leon breaks the convo up by telling Mau we are leaving.
Laura and Fanny tell Ximena they are worried about her. But seems Laura is not so much, ‘I have a life too, you know?’ Fanny looks at Laura like not approving where this convo is heading now.
At the house, Luz, the boys and Fernando are in ‘battle’ disguise with bandanas and face color to have a water gun battle. They sprinkle all over Alicia and Brianna who are sunbathing. Nando is reading a Stephen Hawking book. He is not into it but waves to Brianna when she calls him.
In the house, YoMama and Isa have discovered the post-hurricane kitchen. They are sickened. Isa tells YoMama Fernando gave the day off to all the staff. YoMama asks her if she will go see Reeky. Isa says he is the only one that will even notice her. Isa tells YoMama to clean (LOL!!!). YoMama finds a pancake whole enough to eat… she blows the dry flour off it (LOL! Must be desperately hungry)

Ines is out of jail (I assume on bail) and goes to see Rita in the hospital. She is repentant and asks Rita to forgive her. Rita does and assumes this contrite behavior means that Ines and Garabato have broken up. Ines informs her that that is not the case.

La Gata #31 Mon 10/13/14 If you're stupid and you know it clap your hands!
I'm working on the recap (no internet at home so I'm having to recap the morning after the show airs and I'm on the West Coast, sorry peeps!), feel free to discuss the episode in the mean time!

The truth comes out:
Jarocha shows Pablo the video Rita made where she tells him that she along with his parents worked to keep him and Esmeralda apart and he finally learns that the babies are his. Jarocha asks him what he plans to do now that he knows the truth and poor spineless Monica wants to know if this new revelation means the wedding is off (dude, someone buy this girl some self respect!). Pablo tells her he has to speak with Esmeralda and runs across the street to confront his old love.
Pablo and Esmeralda are now face to face, he tells her that he knows the truth and then he makes the mortal mistake of asking Esmeralda if the kids are his. Jarocha shows Pablo the video Rita made where she tells him that she along with his parents worked to keep him and Esmeralda apart and he finally learns that the babies are his. Jarocha asks him what he plans to do now that he knows the truth and poor spineless Monica wants to know if this new revelation means the wedding is off (dude, someone buy this girl some self respect!). Pablo tells her he has to speak with Esmeralda and runs across the street to confront his old love.

Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #41 10/13/14 Broken Faces and Broken Hearts
This was a packed episode, lots of serious things going on as our story kicks into high gear. Sorry, I just couldn't think of snarky captions for the pictures.

Now that all her daughters have gone out for the evening Greta realizes how big and empty the house feels. Fausto tell her she's experiencing empty nest syndrome. It was bound to happen sooner or later. As if in answer to her mother's sadness, Sofia comes through the front door. It's been a hard day. The workers were able to handle a crisis and now Pato and Silvana are finishing up at the factory. Greta notices a spot on Sofia's blouse. Sofia says she spilled a little of the tostado de pata she ate at Cuco's Place. "Tostado de Pata!??" Greta wrinkles her nose and waves her hand in disdain. Sofia tells them it was delicious! But she's had a hard day and now it's off to bed. Sofia runs upstairs. Greta wonders about the change in her daughter. Fausto thinks it's good for Sofia to try new things and have new and different experiences before she gets tied down to Pato.

Skipping the old.....
we're back at the fight and German aka big sexy questions Danilo on why he has possession of Ale's ring. Danilo says German has no right questioning him since he and Ale are no longer together. If he is in possession of it, it is because she gave it to him.
Esteban angrily walks towards Acacia and Ulises, then decides to slow his roll. He calls out her name and says he thought she no longer wanted to see Ulises. Acacia says they talked and worked it out. After all a girl can change her mind. Esteban says if she wants to believe Ulises, then he has nothing more to say and starts to leave. Ulises calls him back. He reiterates that what he told Acacia was the truth and he will demonstrate it. Esteban says he just needs to prove himself to her. If this is what she wants, he will respect her decision. If he breaks your heart again, I will be the first to be there for you.
German aka big sexy doesn't believe that Ale would give Danilo the ring. She never took it off. Danilo says he was the one that pulled her out of the hell hole she was in. (Ummm..not exactly as I remember. I believe you were the one who put her in hell, dipsh!t). so you know who abused her says German and starts fighting again with Danilo. Norberto runs up and breaks the fight. Norberto tells Danilo that he doesn't have to explain anything to German about his business. He no longer works for me or lives in my house. Danilo tells Norberto not to worry about it. They were having a discussion on his breakup with Ale. He's also jealous in my relationship with Ale. Do you think it's nothing replies German. I love Ale. Norberto says it's best they break up. That girl was a bad influence in German's life. German doesn't agree. He will always be grateful that she supported him. He walks off. Norberto says he was worried that German found out about Danilo's other business. Danilo assures him he will never tell anyone that Norberto visits one of his girls. I'm glad that you don't want Ale for your son. I want her for myself.

Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #40 10/10/4 Plots, Parties and Punches
Greta talks to Alan privately. Alan claims he knew nothing about Alexa taking the necklace and pawning it. Though they are a couple Alexa doesn't tell him everything. He offers to contact his family and get the money to buy the necklace back. Greta refuses his offer. She just wants Alan to keep taking care of Alexa the way he has been. The Ripoll family will get the necklace back and give Alexa money so she and Alan can go back to Spain. Greta even offers to send financial support to Alan whenever he needs it. (I have to ask: What evil creature snuck into Greta's bedroom at night and sucked out all her brains? If Pato doesn't bankrupt the Ripoll's, Alan will.)
At the factory Sofia is on the phone trying to work out a deal with Ripoll's northern distributor, Mr. Armendarez, to replace the shipment of chocolate that was lost in the truck accident. Sofia tells him they can replace the shipment in a few days, but not overnight. Amendarez gets angry and abruptly hangs up on her. Sofia can't believe it! Pato tells Sofia that she's under too much stress. Isn't it time for her to let him handle things? He'll take over for now and she can plan their wedding.

• Johnny’s walking the streets on his way to the bus stop, mooning over losing Jennifer to Don Nicolas--like he ever had her to begin with….. Moon-Boy trips over a stand up cardboard cutout of some famous model/actress and now falls in love with her. (Is this guy certifiable or what??? What idiot falls in love with a cardboard cutout? Only the kind of clown with scrambled sk!t for brains—the Televisa kind.)
• Ana gives Diego her reasons for believing Yo Momma is her momma: the rare song Yo was croaking; the fact she wears cherry red nail polish; her being from Ecatapec where they believe Ana is also from—despite it having a population of a million or more people, as Diego is quick to remind her; her having had another daughter prior to Isabela; and the fact that Yolo plays the guitar. (Works for me!)

Skipping the old.........
Rubio asks Ale is she is going to work today. She pretty much tells him to mind his own and Rosa backs her up. Luisa tells him to go back to work. Rubio comments that all the women have attitudes today. Rosa asks him to accompany her to her room. She needs help with something and drags him by the ear when he protests. Ale asks Luisa what's with the 20 questions from Rubio? Luisa doesn't know either. He even asked her what time German left last night. But she didn't tell him. The girls share a giggle on German's escape from the window. Luisa gets a call and it's Arturo.
Manuel tells German aka big sexy about his new business idea and how Norberto is backing him up. He even talked to Norberto about his painting. Manuel wants to know if German found out why Ale broke up with him. German has a smile on his face and says they are back together. The reconciliation was the best thing that could have happened to him. Ale demonstrated just how much she loves me. We made love with such passion that it surprised me. I always thought something really bad happened to her. You still think she was abused asks Manuel. I believe that more and more lately replies German. But she doesn't want to tell me. I am in love with her and don't know much about her. I know nothing about her past or her family. The only thing she has ever told me was about her little brother that died. It must be terrible to lose a brother says Manuel. But after everything that happened she must tell you about herself. You have every right to know since you are together. Ask her to be honest with you. Especially since it is you who would understand anything.

Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #39 Pato's Plans Starts in Motion
Our dear Mads is under the weather. So here is a quick and dirty recap from memory of Thursday night's episode:
Alexa cries to Armie that Sofia and Greta are giving her the money to go back to Spain, but she really doesn't want to go. Armie tells her to be honest with her family, they will understand. Alexa says she doesn't have the courage to do that.
Silvana's jealousy gets the best of her and she confronts Patricio in his office. She's in love with him and can't stand to see him in the arms of Sofia Ripoll. Sofia walks in to see Silvana crying but not soon enough to hear why. She takes Silvana away to talk privately. Pato sits at his desk planning damage control.
Dani and Lucas sneak away and have a make out session in the warehouse of the factory. Marisol tracks Lucas down and interrupts the kissing and heavy breathing to offer him some of the cornbread she made. (Girl, it's gonna take more than cornbread. Just sayin'...)
Silvana lies to Sofia. Silvana says she just found out the man she's in love with is engaged. She was talking to Pato about personnel issues and noticed one of the factory workers has a name similar to her (fake) boyfriend's and that's what caused the emotional outburst. Sofia buys it.
Pato talks to Tavares at the police station. It seems that Pato's fingerprints were found all over that stolen money. Tavares asks Pato if he'd like to change his story? Of course he would! And he does. Chava is now off the hook.
Paco re-opens his shop against the wishes of Araceli. He's tired of sitting at home and needs to be active. Araceli warns him to be careful.
Chava takes a walk and runs into Araceli. He confesses there is a woman who is always on his mind. Araceli guesses that it's Ceci, but Chava tells her the woman consuming all his waking and dreaming moments is Sofia Ripoll. Araceli can't understand why warm, passionate Chava would be drawn to a cold android like Sofia.
Patricio tells Sofia that he put in a few good words with Tavares and the all charges and suspicions against Chava have been dropped.
Irma can't get in to see her sick "friend" because he's been taken in for medical tests. She'll have to wait until morning. Irma wants to go home now, but Martina says if Irma leaves she'll go to Armando and show him the unique mole on her back - the one that both she and her brother have - that matches the mole on Nandito's back. And she will tell Armie that Nandito Ain't. His. Kid. Irma agrees to stay.
Alan is helping Dani with her English homework. He offers to help her with other subjects as well. As Dani walks upstairs he leers at her and says he can hardly control himself.
Sofia tells Chava that Patricio talked to Tavares. Chava isn't happy. He doesn't like feeling like he owes Patricio something. (I don't get this. Chava doesn't owe Pato anything.)
Lupe' is having a dance recital at Cuco's place tonight. She goes to the factory with Chava to hand out fliers. Lupe' is talking to Dani when she is spotted by Silvana. They have an argument and in the process of throwing Lupe' out, Silvana knocks her to the floor. Lupe's ankle is sprained. Chava helps her home and now has to help improvise something for the dance program. Lucas is going to help.
One of the Ripoll trucks has an accident and an entire shipment of chocolate is lost. (I cannot believe I had to type that. An entire shipment of chocolate... gone. Truly tragic.) The client waiting for the shipment is so angry he hangs up on Sofia. Now the entire factory has to scramble to get another shipment ready to go in less than 24 hours. Pato tells Sofia not to worry, he'll take charge. Uh-Oh.
End of Episode.

Weekend Discussion: Past vs Present Telenovela Conventions: What's the best combination?
What would you rather see again vs what's happening now? What do you miss about novelas of 20 years ago?
Let's not get into discussions about series length; we have done that to death.
I personally would prefer scenes to be longer. Sometimes when watching novelas now I get whiplash from the quick scene changes after two or three lines of dialogue. It gives the illusion of more action happening when in reality no more information is communicated in that episode than in an episode shot 20 years ago.
Let's have fewer situations about pregnancy entrapment or at least demonstrate that it mostly doesn't work, We have all witnessed at least one example of this in real life and all know that the consequences aren't pretty. The Isabelas of this world don't usually get what they want.
Force producers to make up their minds about the period of the story. It really annoys me when they can't make up their minds and we have no idea whether it's 1950 or 2010.

-As they bask in the afterglow, German suddenly grows
serious. He thinks now is the time for them to speak with the truth, and
nothing but the truth. Alejandra closes in on herself and says this should have
never happened. German calls b.s. on that. He loves her. She loves him. They’ve
just had an amazing love-making session. She’s a grown woman and they should be
able to speak about this. He never expected to be the first man in her life—they
aren’t living in the last century, after all. He talks about how at first she
was afraid of even letting him touch her. But he’s happy to know that in
addition to all the love they have for each other, they can also feel pleasure.
He thinks it’s good for a woman to both be able to give and receive pleasure.
He would like Ale to tell him what’s going on/what happened. He can’t help her
if she doesn’t tell him. Ale snaps that she doesn’t need help!

This is mostly bullet points style, there were a lot of short scenes that I put together for better flow. I hope it all makes sense.
Ana hears a voice singing her mother’s song,
as she remembers being a little child and watching her mom sing and play the
guitar (fun trivia – little Ana is played by Pablo Montero’s real daughter; look
closely and you will see the resemblance).
Yes, the person singing in present time is Yolanda’s and
Carmen Salinas is doing her best to do justice to the song, but she doesn’t
have the voice for it (if Yolanda truly is the mother, then her voice really
transformed over the years).
Ana walks into the room and stares at
Yolanda, who’s wondering what’s wrong, has the nana seen a ghost? Kind of…
Ana
doesn’t reply, she just leaves, she is just too shocked right now.
Sisterly advice
Fanny finds Alicia’s scrapbook with I heart
Gustavo written all over and tries to warn her little sister that the guy is
bad news. But Alicia thinks that she knows better and he will NOT hurt her the
same way that he hurt Fanny. (Ugh, Alicia, Isa’s obnoxiousness is rubbing off on
you. Careful!).
Fanny thinks that Alicia should be interested
in boys her own age, but then she gets interrupted by Enreek's call, confirming
their date/ creepy meet up.

La Gata #29- Thu 10/9 - La Afrenta
Silencioso reminds Esme that everything he does is for her to get Pablo back. From across the street, Pablo watches. Esme accuses Silencioso of trying to use her to get his revenge on Pablo and his family. He says that Augie has to "responder" (answer) for his crimes. Pablo has to answer to Esme for his crimes as well. He knows it was difficult for her to tell Pablo she wasn't going to see him again, but he hopes she'll feel differently tomorrow. Esme says she won't change her mind. It hurts too much to hurt Pablo. Silencioso hugs Esme to comfort her and Pablo says he really loves Esme, but she's just a tramp.
Monica tries to call him. She apparently had been listening to the audiobook of "How to Develop Your Telekinetic Powers" and summoned the phone to her side (it was previously on the coffee table). When she can't reach Pablo, she calls Lorenza, who tells her not to talk to Pablo right now because he's going through a rough time…he saw "that woman" and he's feeling confused and wants to break off the engagement. Monica starts getting weepy and Lorenza keeps up the fiction that no one believes--that Pablo loves her...but he's obsessed with that woman. Lorenza tells her to avoid Pablo's calls, turn off her cell, and Lorenza will email her when she's got Pablo's strings back on. "You'll marry Pablo, or my name isn't Lorenza de Martinez Negrete!" She's said this before, which makes me think that's not her name.

La Gata #28- Wed 10/8 - La Reaparición
Mariano sees that Lorenza is wearing a groove in the marble floor and asks her to confide in him. She tells him that she's worried because a man his dad had thrown in jail is out now and wants revenge. Mariano doesn't see what the big deal is because his dad is perfect, right? He tells her to calm down and stop crying. Once he leaves, Lorenza says she knows there's suffering on the way.
Pablo is up in his room staring blankly out the window. He's now seen Esme two days in a row, according to Mariano. He claims to be "embrujado" (bewitched). His love is stronger than he is, and even though he has no idea what her intentions are, he can't stop seeing her.
Esme, on the other hand, is telling Silencioso that she doesn't want to see Pablo anymore. It's too hard for her to pretend to be lighthearted when she'd rather be screaming at him. Silencioso tells her that if she loves him, she's going to have to fight for her love. Because if she doesn't, he'll marry Monica and be lost to her forever.

Isa continues moaning at mirror. Here comes Mama Bear…

Give Thanks to heaven that you are pregnant, because you don’t know what I am capable of… you are not going to say anything?... how do you dare to hurt a kid like that?’ / ‘Fernando will hear about this.’ / ‘Orale! Sure! why don’t we start telling him about the issue of the notebooks or the fact that you enjoy humiliating the kids or that you hurt Sebas…’ / ‘don’t exaggerate, Ana! I did not do anything to him!’ / ‘ ah no? lets go see what Don Fernando says about you calling his son an ‘engendro’ … about that you said that he should overcome the loss of his mom… ‘ / ‘haven’t you got it? Fer will deal with that tomorrow.Nico arrives. Bruno is there too. Fanny takes her leave to go to bed. Nico asks if he can join the whiskey round. Diego will wait for Ana.
Back upstairs. ‘So it is clear to you now. Right, spider? Don’t mess with my kids. ‘ / ‘you don’t have any idea who you are messing with, N A N A C A.’ / ‘ the one who has no clue who she is messing with is you, mija. And it is the last time you call me that way, because next time I will forget you are pregnant. The one that influences the kids… the one that should care for them, the one that should educate them!... ‘ / ‘Look, Isabella!...’ / ‘Quiet! I have not got to the punchline! Fernando knows perfectly that you are inept… and he promised me that the next time his kids misbehaved he was going to get a new Na-na! (Sebas gets even more upset) that simple! If you go with him with the tattle-tale, all you will do is put in evidence your ineptitude even more.’ / ‘ one! I just don’t believe you! … two! I can be all you say about me but I will never be a tarantula with no heart who utilizes helpless souls, including the one in your belly…’ / ‘ ah! Ya, ya! It would only be natural that you lost your cool one day… and slapped me… Oh, no! wait! You already did, right? (Ana looks down, a bit deflated/concerned) Because it would also be too bad that Fernando learned that you slapped his wife while she is pregnant. But nine months… or whatever you have left… pass pretty quickly, Chabela (a nickname for Isabela). What I don’t understand is that you utilize your baby to defend yourself… well, of course, you used it to marry him. You are capable of anything (whispers) you scare me, Isabela. ‘ / ‘ that is right, I am capable of everything… of everything!... to get you away from Fernando.’ / ‘ sure. I will only tell you one thing, and I will tell you slowly so it is clear to you. You mess with any of my kids again, and you will regret, Isabela, of having been born (where is Sebas to hear this?). Silvie is on the phone with Pato while he is with Sofia and she craves him; he denies her of him and (passes it all off as a call of work) which results in her throwing her phone and cursing Los Ripoll while Sofia states Silvana is a grand woman.
Lucas wants to see Dani at her house but he can't and she changes rendezvous; now she's gotta find a way to get out of the house. She asks a friend or sister (it wasn't clear) to lend her their chauffeur.
Greta is coddling Alexa and asks what kind of debt could lead her to such an act. Alexa comes clean and Greta then says she will help her pay the debt and send her packing but it's for the best. Alexa is forgiven.
Fausto and Sofi discuss the purloinment. Fau. is glad it was resolved so soon and somehow they end up talking about Chava; that he is the man Sofi is in love with (says Fausto) but Sofi denies it and says she is marrying Patricio.
'Li asks Paco what he was dreaming of.
More of Sofi and Fau's back and forth about Chava; he ships ChoFi.

advertise Lupe’s Dance Academy. Aracely
shows up and tells Lupe that Lupe and Paco will be great together. Lupe tells Aracely that Aracely and Paco will be great together. Lupe will check up on Paco while Aracely
works on getting Chava completely exonerated of all charges and
suspicions.
Ripoll: Chava tells Matias that he’s in love with a
chick that is totally out of his league.
Later, down in the locker room, Matias opens his locker and shows Chava
his shrine to Silvana. Matias wrongly
believes that Chava is still pining for Aracely. He tells Chava that Aracely broke up with “the
northerner”. Chava tells him that
Aracely is no longer the object of his affection.
Sophia tells Silvana that she’s shocked that Greta gave her
blessing to the wedding. She’s even
withdrew the demand for Patrick to sign a pre-nup. Sensing that Sophia is not happy about it,
Silvana asks Sophia if she can handle continuing on with a sham wedding with
Patrick. Silvana knows that Sophia is in
love with Chava although Sophia hasn’t said it.
She encourages Sophia to find the man that she loves and express her

Uli has a chat with Nuria Seems Uli wants to go to the hacienda to go see Acacicia. She offers the use of her SUV or she'll take him. But he's going to ride bike. Uli gets to the hacienda Este is sbout to run him off when Cris comes and tells him the young will work this out.

Mi Corazon es tuyo #57 DissaBella goes beserk with the twins new prank... a bit overboard... Fernando finds out about the dress for Alicia
i appologize this was a bit rushed, had a steering committee meeting at church... anyway, here we go!

Fernando admits to Nando he is dying of jealousy of his brother… Nando tells Fernando he has not smiled since he married DissaBella … no scientist needed to know you are not happy. Do you think you are doing any of us a favor to know our father is not happy and did not fight for the woman he loves?
Ana arguing with twins about both of them forgetting the Spanish notebooks… Luz tries to cover for them, zipped mouth. Ana suspects there is something they are hiding…

Nando asks DissaBella how is the baby going. She says ‘I feel it’ (LIAR!!) .. Fanny arrives asking for Ximena. Doctor comes out, she had a crisis, had to sedate her, can’t keep her here for long. She will have to be transferred to the Psych unit. And for that he will need her mother’s authorization. She would be locked up in the Psych ward. Nando impactado.
At house, Bruno serves YoMama her usual martini and snacks… she gets the blues and tells him she feels very lonely… Bruno willing to listen and talk…
Fanny asks Fernando about Ana… Diego and Sebas/Alicia arrive to the clinic to support Nando.. DissaBella rolls her eyes in disgust. Nando very thankful, group hug with Frida and the kids, Fernando and Diego join in, DissaBella looks at them like ‘these are clowns’…
YoMama spills her upset feelings to Bruno about the way DissaBella treats her, tells Bruno how she grew up poor, she worked in everything, she used to run errands, took care of kids… she discovered eventually she could sing, she would sing in the public transport trucks singing with her guitar… (Now Bruno is the one that seems to be recalling old times)… Bruno tells her he too has had hard times, and Don Nico rescued him. yoMama notes they have much in common… she was rescued by her husband… he always respected her and is the best that happened in her life (besides my DAUGHTERS …[NOOOOO SAY IT ISNT SO!!!!])
Diego will drop Ana at her house.
Fernando tells Nando he is concerned Nando has already missed two days of school. I get it that you are in love… or I don’t get it. Ximena is always depressed or angry all the time, can’t find anything you two have in common. Nando keeps insisting love has no explanation… what do you Fanny have in common with a messenger… or you, Dad, with Ana who takes care of the kids… Fernando points that neither Ana or Leon are ‘ill’. Fanny says we don’t want you to sink. Ximena’s mom arrives. She has an attitude from the get go ‘how is my daughter?’ (Fernando looks at her like 'oh my!')

Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #36 10/6/14 Greta May Not Want to Rent That Reception Hall After All
Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Lots of stuff happening in this episode. Let's get to it!
Old:
Fausto tells Sofia that everything about her - her smiles, her body language, her obvious happiness when she is around Chava - shows that she is deeply in love with him.
Alexa finds Alan in her room when she wakes up. Alan tells her that Manolo knows where he is.
Greta says she's changed her mind about the pre-nup. Pato doesn't have to sign it because Greta wants him to be part of the family! Not only that, she wants Sofia and Patricio to get married as soon as possible! Chava walks into the living room and hears the whole thing.

La Malquerida, capitulo 31. 10/06/14. Esteban is sinking deeper into crazyville.
Skipping the old..........
Esteban gets onto Cris for allowing Acacia to seek out Ulises. He always finds a way for Acacia to go back to him. Cris tries to explain that Acacia went to seek the truth about what she saw at the event. Esteban tells her she has no idea what Acacia went through seeing Ulises and Nuria together. How humiliated she felt. Cris feels she and Acacia made the right decision. In regards to Ulises, I will stand by her side.
Acacia looks in the window and see Nuria telling Ulises it's time for bed. She's about to knock on the door, but Rubio stops her. He warns her she might not like what she encounters if she goes in. he offers to go instead and punch Ulises. She decides it's best to leave.
Luisa comes back happy from the event she and Arturo catered. She sees Rosa with a long face and asks if something happened to Manuel. Instead she gets a slap in the face. When she asks what's the slap for, Rosa says for lying. You were never in a relationship with Manuel. He said he would never be in a relationship with a servant.

La Gata #26 10/06/2014 Miss Kitty goes to the ball
Hi all-this will be quick and dirty but I think I'll be able to cover everything:
Esmeralda and her daddy (Fernando) who she still does not know is one half of her parental unit arrive at the ball and Kitty cat looks good! She manages to get the attention of several of the guests, all of them stunned by her beauty.
Shoe update:she is not wearing boots!
Anyhoo, among the guests are Lorenza and her children along with her husband-you remember him right? He is the one that gets off on stealing other peoples property and framing innocent people. We will get back to him later, oh and Monica is also there, poor girl, will her public humiliation never end? Will she learn to just say "no" to Pablo and run off to a place where it's okay to wear red shoes that look like crocs in public? Am I asking for too much? (Yes, yes I am, but I can hope,no?)
Mariano is the first to spot Esmeralda (aka: Miss Kitty) and he points her out to his mother, he has enough avocados to actually comment on how beautiful Esmeralda looks in front of his mother and enough grace to actually say that he is happy for her. Can you imagine Pablo having enough grace and character to say such a thing? Of course not because the only thing that matters to Pablo is well, Pablo. Whatever the case may be I'm now a Mariano fan.
Lorenza is not happy for Esmeralda and makes it her mission to tell every one at the gala that Esmeralda is gutter trash (her words, not mine!), like a snake she slithers around spreading her venom, she makes the mistake of telling the ambassadors wife (the ones throwing the party and those who invited Fernando and Esmeralda there) the same story, but this time Fernando catches her and tells her that she needs to stop spreading gossip, or else. She makes the mistake of asking what the "or else" is and she gets put in her place. In short Fernando tells her who he really is and that her family will be sorry for all the crap they have pulled. Lorenza calls his bluff and tells him she is not alone, she has a husband and two sons to protect her! Fernando tells her to call them over and maybe the would like to hear what he has to say, Lorenza finds Agustin and tells him that Fernando wants to speak to him, in the end it's the same conversation Fernando had with Lorenza, he promises to get revenge and to expose Agustin as a liar and a thief and an all around criminal, Agustin says he is not scared but it is revealed to us that his conversation with Fer upset him enough to almost give him a heart attack ( a well deserved one!)
While this is taking place Esmeralda is on the dance floor, as is Pablo along with Monica and when Esme tries to say hello to him he treats her rather harshly and tells her that they have never been friends. He is enough of a jerk that the French ambassador has to tell him to behave. Later Esme bumps into Virginia and the two bond with Virginia suggesting Esme take Pablo away so that they can talk and resolve their issues. Pablo arrives, is again a jerk to Esme and when it looks like there will be another physical fight Fernando arrives and takes Kitty away.
The next morning Lorenza wakes up and realizes that Agustin is nowhere to be found, he comes in looking like death warmed over and he explains that his worse fears have come to pass, Fernando has made a formal accusation against him and it's only a matter of time until their life comes crashing down around them. Lorenzas suggestion? Throw Kitty and Fer in jail for a good 20 years. Agustin says this wont work, Fernando is not the same trusting man he once was, Lorenza finally looks worried.
Felas tale:
Okay, Fela after seeing Rita runs away in fear, and can anyone blame her? Rita looks like the crypt keeper but worse. However after thinking about this for a bit I have a few points I'd like to make, follow me dear friends:

- At some point Rita had some sort of relationship with Fela, she has spoken of Fela as if she were a dear friend, however:
- Rita was somehow involved in harm being done to Fela, did someone pay her off to look the other way while an attempt on Felas life was made?
- Why did they try to kill Fela? Was it simply to get their hands on Fernandos money?
Whatever the case may be Rita helped or was part of a plot to kill a friend, and not just that but she took a small baby and used her as a pay check. May you burn in telenovela hell Rita.

Mansion: Over breakfast Ana tried to make Nando understand that
it wasn't his responsibility to cure Ximena of her problems. She
emphasized that this would be up to Ximena's doctor. Fanny also told
him he couldn't cure her. Nando is under the youthful delusion that
love can cure anything, but even Manuela couldn't let him go on like
this. She explained that she had an aunt with a mental problem and
who ended badly. Ximena could end up the same way. Ana tried to
dispel that bad vibe, both she and Fanny telling Nando once again
that he can't handle this. Ximena has isolated herself in Fanny's
room and isn't eating and this isn't getting any better. She's also
stopped taking her pills. Ana then suggested they go upstairs to
convince her to take them, but Fanny had to leave for work. Ana
blessed her first, she left, and Ana turned to Nando and said they
should go upstairs.

What a breathless week we've had, my dear Reinamaniacs! What's next?
First Izzy and then Lopez 2.0 tracked down one of the Giant Red Diamonds to the sticky-fingered EMT guy. Uh oh.
More Fodder for Crackpot/Crockpot/Colander/Sieve Theorists: Asunción changes her story when she talks to Estefanía -- She knew Estefi's father when she was just a teenager. (Oh ho!) It was later that she married Pedro (el payaso) Ortíz.
Victor leads Christian, The Worst Cop in Las Vegas (TWCILV), by the nose, convincing him that Navier is responsible for the death of the hapless Reina stand-in. Later TWCILV somehow stumbles on the fact that Navier is actually a Secret Agent Man.
Navier, with Boris of Belgium's help, is about to flee the country. At the eleventh hour, Greta spills the frijoles about Christian's murky past -- maybe they can use the secret to help Navier. Femme Fatale Connie Leiva lures TWCILV to her house where Navier is waiting to pounce.

Weekend Discussion: Sob Stories and Snob Stories
The snobbery expressed in telenovelas reminds me of a lot of things I've witnessed in life. I've previously explained some of them, but the baby gift incident in Mi Corazon es Tuyo last night made me remember the following story:
My college buddy recently became a grandfather for the first time (I think he's freaking out about it). I remember when his older daughter was born his now-ex bought her a Laura Ashley nightgown in a thrift shop for $3. It looked absolutely brand new; I'm sure its previous owner barely wore it a handful of times before outgrowing it. She showed it to me and another woman and we commended her on her practicality (which in this case she had learned with their firstborn). She begged us not to tell her husband, who had an issue with thrift shopping. This is the same man who wouldn't have made it to the IBM boardroom for not having attended an Ivy League university.
For a while they drove leased cars (Lexus and Mercedes) until they couldn't afford to continue to do so. It was all downhill from there and he is still recovering. Much of that was her fault 20 years ago but I won't bore you with the details. Interestingly she came from a family with a lot of reverse snobbery.
Tell your tales, amigos, and you can change the names to protect the guilty.

Mi Corazon es Tuyo #55, Two Offers Made, Two Offers Accepted
We start where we left off yesterday with Bunny, (I like this nickname since we don’t know her name yet, thanks to whoever came up with it) making a motion to can poor Fernando. Who’s up for this motion? Vote? The other directors sit nervously playing with their pencils, (snicker, snicker), awkward! Ah, a name. Senora Linda Olalde. Fer says that he’s known her objections of him for a looong time. He knows that all the things that she dislikes in him as a CEO has also paid off handsomely for her in making her over $100 million, but she whines that it could have been $200 million by now. You are going down Fernando, and I will see to it. Not until you have proof of my failings, sweetheart, until then, I’m going home. Child's play! Fer closes the meeting and says adieu. Bunny Olalde snaps her pencil in frustration.

The Old: Cris realizes
that Juliana is so excited about going to San Jacinto because that man (German’s
bio-dad) is there. At the ceremony reception, Uli tearfully tells Acacia that
if she leaves, this time he’s not coming after her.
The New:
Nuria is right there to grab Uli’s attention, and Esteban is
right there to keep stoking Acacia’s ire. Like an overzealous basketball coach,
he tells Acacia how well she’s done—demanding her respect and her proper place
with Uli. Acacia is already starting to have doubts. It is true after all, that
the Municipal President was the one who pressured them to get going and placed
Nuria with Uli. Este dismisses all of that. When a man loves a woman, he does
the impossible. Acacia still has doubts. “Do what you want, but don’t say later
that I didn’t warn you.” Acacia tells him he’s right, and they leave.
Carmen sends Nuria away and talks to Uli. She tells him to
wait till he’s calmed down to talk to Acacia, but for now, he needs to
concentrate on his event/work.
At the hospital, Cris and German talk. She updates him on
the Acacia-Uli problems. German knows how important this day was to the both of
them and asks if he can help. They talk about their art. German tells her about
the paintings he sold to the renovated restaurant—Cris will go see them. Cris
is planning on finally doing that exhibit of her photos. She asks German to
join her, but he knows it will just cause additional fights with Norberto. Norbie
can’t know that he’s still painting. Cris offers to speak to Norbie. German can’t
continue to hide such an important part of himself—his calling/vocation. Cris
loves the painting he did of Ale. They clam up when Norbie walks up.

Hasta el Fin del Mundo #35 20141003 Chava Curses After Hearing Greta's Blessings!
RIPOLL-Patrick and Sofia are in her office having a screaming match! Chava is still a suspect and he wants her to fire him! Patrick is furious that Sophia had the charges against Chava dropped! Sophia swears that Chava is an angel who fell to the earth to deliver all mankind from all that is evil. Patrick tells Sophia to marry Chava if he's so effin' great! He's hurt that she made him look like a fool in front of the employees by taking the chauffer's word over his. He storms out. She doesn't care.
Sophia sits alone in her office remembering all of the wonderful and scary times that she's had with Chava. Patrick has a slight tantrum in his office. He tells us that he will expedite the wedding, bankrupt Ripoll and destroy Chava.
CASA de CRUZ-Aracely, dressed as Donna Reed or June Cleaver, tells Lupe that her relationship with Pedro is officially over. Chava comes home. He tells them that he stopped by to thank Sophia for trusting him and dropping the charges. Lupe tells him that Aracely deserves all of the credit for getting him released.

La Gata #25 10/3/14- La Gala
Hmmm. Interesting. (At least to me) "Gala" has quite a few meanings...all of which seemed to fit for tonight's episode.

- How long until Centavito and Fela get to live in the mansion? They deserve it.
- What the h*ll is Lowrenza's deal with Monica? She is obsessed with her marrying Pablo. It makes me want to puke.
- Why are we still being subjected to Rita's wrinkly face?
- Can Virginia look any more pitiful when Lowrenza is yelling at her? And am I the only one that thinks Lowrenza's crimes against her daughter are worse than her meddling with Pablo?
- WHAT KIND OF SHOES DID ESMERALDA HAVE ON AT THE GALA????

Cap 54
• Fernando has given Diego his blessing to pursue Ana. They shake on it. He later tells Fanny. She deals as best she can.
• Don Nicolas is still having difficulty dealing with the reality of his old age and the social restrictions regarding adopting. He and Ana have a heart to heart about it.
• Jens gets a follow-up visit by her OB-Gyne and learns that she still has her ovaries. The wheels start turning in her head. (In vitro fertilization alert! Will Ana be the surrogate mother for her? Hmmm.)

Get better, Mads! We
miss you! Ok folks, just bullet points tonight. Honestly, I don’t know how Mads
does it practically every day for multiple telenovelas.
Rosa, Julie and
Norbie:
-Julie and Norbie insult Rosa and call Luisa a liar. Julie
threatens to have Cris fire and throw Rosa and Luisa out (like that would ever
happen). Rosa leaves despondent, but she’s the only one who kept her dignity in
that conversation. Rubio is actually sympathetic and caring with her. He wants
to teach Manuel a lesson for playing with Luisa. Later, Rosa takes her anger
and despair out on the rugs. Luisa doesn’t know what awaits her when she gets
home!
-Despite Norbie telling her to shut up about the Rosa thing
(he wants Cris to keep paying the hospital bills), Julie tattles to Cris. Cris
basically warns Julie about insulting her peeps, but she will speak to Luisa.
Cris sees no problem with Manuel moving on from Acacia and dating Luisa.
-Cris gives Julie the info for the specialist in San
Jacinto. Julie’s so damn excited, Cris realizes this move to San Jacinto is all
about connecting with German’s bio-daddy. Dr. Andres, meanwhile, has learned
from Uli about Juliana’s son being injured and his operation. He gets a faraway
worried look.
Ale and German:
-Ale is snooping through Danilo’s file at the Association
and learns he really is growing cotton. She quickly hides the file when German
comes to get some papers to take to Norberto at the hospital. They canoodle a
bit, and German asks if she got his note and wants to wake up at his side every
day. Ale drops the Danilo file accidentally, German picks it up, and it’s obvious
Ale was trying to hide it. German gets agitated. He wants to know the truth of
what’s really between her and Danilo! Ale tells part of the truth—that she’s known
Danilo since she was 13; when she left San Jacinto she never saw him again; she
didn’t even know he was living in El Soto; and she wanted to learn more about what
he was doing here. German apologizes for his outburst of jealousy. It’s just
that Danilo seems to know so much about her, while at times he feels that they’re
soul-mates (almas gemelas), and other times like he knows practically nothing
about her. Ale says what’s important is
what they feel for each other- love. Danilo only brings bad memories for her. German,

La Gata #24- Thu 10/2 - La Audiencia
If you missed it yesterday, the episode starts with a replay of most of the fight…and Pablo and Esme smearing her lipstick all over each other's faces. Silencioso pries them apart and decks Pablo. Some cops or security people finally show up to drag Esme and Pablo apart. In all the screaming, once again, no one gets around to saying anything that might resolve this.
Lorenza gets the news from Monica and explains away Pablo's reaction with "Well, he's a man." She blames it all on Esme and begs Monica not to leave Pablo. Monica wants Pablo to be happy, and Lorenza says that Monica is his happiness. I don't think Lorenza understands the meaning of that word.
Back at the house, Esme cries and is comforted by Silencioso, who says those meanies will pay. The maid brings them tea or coffee and gives them a suspicious look.

Where we left off, Ana overhears Isabruja’s rants and
marches in to assure the patrones that she will start sleeping in her own house
straightaway.
Poor little Mau is having a hard time understanding that mama
isn’t coming back.
Bruja is happy Ana is moving out. Fer not so much. Ana tries to convince herself it’s better
this way.

La Malquerida #28, 10/1/2014: Acacia’s Getting Heat on All Sides, Can She Take the Pressure?
Mexico Episode #33
Hello All- You’ve got me again. Mads is still sick. Gloria
is still in the mountains. I won’t go into a lot of detail tonight, except for
a few scenes.
Acacia and the Rock
Esteban tells Acacia that Ulises is not the man for her and
she should dump him, forever. He believes Ulises is just taking advantage of
her and her naiveté. Acacia stands her ground- she and Uli love each other and
know what they want. She acknowledges her youth, immaturity, and jealous
streak, but points out what a good man Ulises is. She gets offended that Este
thinks she’s gullible and stupid enough to be fooled by a bad man. She then
points out her own error in misjudging Esteban. She asks that Esteban take the
time to get to know Uli, just as she finally took the time to get to know
Esteban and realized that he’s a good person. A: I know you’re going to try,
because you love me. E: With all my soul, Acacia. (Creepy!) Acacia says that if
Uli does turn out to be a bad person, she’s the one who has to find out for
herself.
After Acacia clarifies to Cris that she didn’t tell Elena
about her future plans/hopes with Uli because she doesn’t feel close to Cris,
they cry and hug it out. Acacia admits that she did miss having her mom there
every day, but it was her choice to live with the Abuelos because she couldn’t
stand Este. And Cris was there every weekend, every holiday, every important occasion,
and spoke to her on the phone every day. Este comes in, and Cris takes him to
task for his ugly attitude towards Uli. She points out that the bad person he’s
describing would not have risked his life running into a burning building to
save Acacia and Manuel. Acacia is not stupid. She has been surrounded by
good men- gentlemen, her whole life, and knows how to tell the good from the
bad. Plus, Acacia is so impulsive that the harder Este pushes her away from
Uli, the more likely it is that she’ll run off with him. That’s not what Este
wanted to hear. He changes the subject by kissing Cris passionately.
Showing Love, Not
Making Love
Ale and German have apparently been cuddled up in bed all
afternoon, and she’s visibly calmer. She tells him how loved and protected she
feels. They begin to kiss, gently at first, and then with more intensity.
German sits up and looks at Ale with a question in his eyes. She smiles and
nods slightly, and they commence the intense kissing. German pauses again to
remove his long sleeved shirt and to give female Viewerville a gift. Ale is not
immune. She looks at him with pure desire in her eyes, and things begin to get
hot and heavy. German finally lowers himself completely onto Ale, which obviously
dregs up bad memories for Ale. She suddenly pushes him away and declares that
it’s best that they break up! There is a “colorful” term for the condition
German must have in that moment, but we, and he, won’t go there. Instead,
German points out how much he loves Ale and he just wants to demonstrate it,
and he knows/feels in his heart that she loves him too.

La Gata #23- Wed 10/1 - La Transformacion
Hell no we couldn't just put up a discussion post!
We jump RIGHT in to a smooth-haired Esme being adored by Fela, but they're not letting us see her face.
Back at the house, Silencioso tells Esme that from now on she'll have tutors to prepare her for taking her secondary school exams. She won't have to go to night classes anymore. With her gorgeous clean face and her bright red lipstick. Also, Silencioso wants to teach her some stuff too. She almost looks like she's wearing her same black dress and boots…but are these pricier versions of the originals?
Esme rides past the Negrete house in the back of the car, setting Mariano's mixed feelings aflame. He assumes she's Silencioso's new amante (lover). He starts to have thoughts that, hey, since Pablo's out of the picture maybe he could…. But no! In an extensive thought bubble, Mariano puts Esme up on a pedestal as much as Pablo ever did (you know, back in the day, before all the lies) thinking that she's a one-man woman and she'll probably never love anyone other than Pablo. I get the impression that only makes him admire her more.

Hey it's CS, the recap will be up later night!
We begin tonight with Pato conspiring against Chava to Sofi's face but she isn't buying what he's selling.
Matt. says hi to Lucas and that it feels different without Chava around.
Sofi gives Silvie the skinny as she leaves and says for Chava she wants the best lawyer.
Luc. needs to see Silvie and Matt. says for him to be easy on the future mother of his kids.
Silvie and Pato spew their negative venom amongst each themselves and malenergize the room.
Chava is in jail an dis if notified he has a visitor; it's Sofi.
Silvie and Pato pro and con Pato's plot until he says he has a secret qeapon; Queen Bee Greta!
Speak of the devil, Fausto lets Greta know she seems happier and she says she woke up that way. They talk about Alan but Fausto isn't convinced by his story.
Tavares lets Chava out of the cell to talk with Sofi, in an actual room; she KNOWS Chava is innocent.
Pato has shown up at the Ripoll mansion on short notice and that kills Greta's day; jerk has the decency to apologize and he wants to talk.
Silvie is instructing Dani how to do her job. Silvie says she personally loves the way Dani dresses but she needs to uniform it, not wear tennis shoes, pin her hair up and put on a little bit of make-up.
Greta says she doesn't like going behind Sofia and talking with Pato about her situations like that. Greta's not having Pato's games and wants to know what is in the envelope. Pato straight up says it contains proof Sofia's not Octavio Ripoll's daughter and Gret. who now has a look of Fret is alarmed; is it true?
Chava tells Sofi that when he was done with Silvie, he went to go get water and then the police found the money in his bag. He like Lucas swears on his mother that he didn't steal the money and Sofi. believes him.
Pato is bitching some more but Sofi isn't having ANY of that and says that if they're separated due to not seeing eye-to-eye on the whole Chava thing than so be it!

Just as Chava and Sofi almost kiss and form one (I call them chOfi) Tavares comes in and so does Araceli.
Pato is leaving his pseudo-sympathetic charm all over Greta like a snail would trail slime on a driveway and unfortunately she is putty in his hands
Tavares excuses himself (too late man) as Chava and 'Li (Araceli's nickname) catch up. He introduced Sofi to her.
Fauntleroy waltzes into Alexa's room and onto her bed; he's so nasty I'm surprised he doesn't leave a streak. He is just babbling and I'm hardly paying attention but he says something about his suegra whom I'm guessing would be Greta (I apologize but Alan is detrimental to my health and forget CS'09, why don't any of you remember Alan as the creepy jerk Jorge who was Marianela and eventually Kristel's beau in Llena de Amor?)
Pato is detrimental to my health as well but eh; he is a charmer with those pechugas of his and that one photo of him in nothing but green converse.
Sofi is pleased to make 'Li's acquaintance.
Luc. is looking for Silvie and inadvertently runs into Dani.
Fausto introduces Pato to Alan (LOL coincidence, I THINK NOT!) and I begin to feel a pit in my stomach. Al asks about the wedding and invites Pato on a double date but Pato rebuffs it since he knows he will be the one stuck with the bill (I like that Pato sees right through him; now if someone could see right through Pato without being manipulated whatsoever GRETA.)
Luc. and Dani flirt on work hours.
IrkMe and Armie are with Renzi, d-e-a-l-i-n-g (read that in the juvenile girly and boy sittin' in a tree song tone; bottom line, Armie isn't buyin' what Renzi's sellin'.)
You know, I had a feeling Greta would end up blackmailed but when she spews her minor venom all over Fausto, that's when I get mad.
Chava and 'Li; Chava knows Pato's behind this.
IrkMe +-_- and Armie =3 argue on the street.
Dani. and Luc. discuss work and Dani said Silvie is chida (she comes off as the person who would have a human skull for a decoration so yeah.) Lucas and Dani kiss as I say aw young love.
Renzi and IrkMe +-__-plot and he makes her pledge she will convince Armie =3 with whatever it takes.
Greta caresses a picture of Sofia and we flashback to see Baby Sofi and the skinny Greta received on how to raise her.
Luc. and 'Sol (Marisol) lament over Chava's situation and the worst part is that whoever stuffed Chava's bag with the money is among them.
Lupe runs into 'Li on the street and they catch up.
Sofi. has Luc. on the case and if he finds about anything, he'll let her know.
Tavares is the observant little bugger and says he noticed a tension between Sofi. and 'Li but Chava reassures him there was nothing.
Pato is arguing with Sofi. and says he doesn't like a thing about Chava.

Hasta el Fin del Mundo #32 20140930 Who's Your Daddy NOW, Sophia?
RIPOLL: Now in police custody, Chava tells his sobbing sister not to be afraid and asks Matias to take care of her and his mother. After the cruiser leaves the curb, Marisol collapses at the gate. Both Lucas and Matias kneel to comfort her, but Matias shoves Lucas away and continues to comfort her by himself.
While everyone is outside, in Silvanna's office, Patrick and Silvanna celebrate his success in setting up Chava by making out.
A while later, Patrick returns to Silvanna's office with the DNA results. It's official! Sophia did not spew forth from the loins of Octavio. Patrick laughs maniacally. Silvanna congratulates him for having Greta in the palm of his hand.
SNOB HILL: Alexa informs Alan that she is going to tell Greta the truth. Alan tells Alexa that the mob has found him. She and her family are in danger unless they come up with some greenback. Greta interrupts the conversation when she barges in with the script. She encourages Alexa to study for the roll. Madelaine is sick with the flu, and Gloria is frolicking in
the mountains, so I’m filling in tonight. And boy, was this episode a doozy! In
an effort to capture tonight’s important confrontations, I made this recap
detailed. Let’s get on with it!
The Old:
In the church, Perla and Alejandra argue loudly about the Danilo
situation. Perla refuses to come with Ale to denounce Dan, and blames Ale for
everything that went wrong after she took off with the merchandise—Danilo getting
beat down by his bosses, left lame, and without his business. She tells Ale
that Danilo is coming after her to kill her, and she better run.
The New:
Esteban is drinking in his office and breathing heavy after
hearing that Acacia and Ulises have been having the marriage talk. His perv
confidant Rubio comes in and Este pounds his fist on the desk and says Acacia
can’t be Ulises’, or ANY man’s! Rubio tries to talk sense into Este and tells
him that he and Acacia can’t live under the same roof. Este says all he needs
to do is keep control of himself. He says this while grabbing Rubio’s lapels and
breathing heavy. Yeah…how’s that “getting in control of yourself” plan working
out, Este? Rubio leaves.
The real Church ladies have gotten tired of the two
inappropriately dressed women screeching at each other, and make a beeline
towards the back of the church for the Padre. Perla says we do what we have to
do, to survive. Ale’s not having it. Perla can go on being exploited if she
wants, but Ale has had the taste of a decent life, and she sure as heck won’t
let Danilo steal it from her! The Padre interrupts before things become heated
again. Perla covers up her boobs, and Ale stands up, points to Perla, and yells
that Perla is the woman of the man who exploited her! Perla hustles out of the
church quickly, and says it’s Ale’s funeral because Dan is coming to kill her.
