Mi Marido Tiene Familia #99, 1/9/2018: My Way or the Highway? The Bears Take the Highway…
[Previously: As Tulio
kneels in front of Imelda, she tells him that she forced her ideas on them without realizing the harm she was
doing. In a way, Tulio was right when he said the family would have been better
off without her. Imelda is very proud of all of her children for forging on
ahead in spite of her. Tulio will always be her son until the day she dies. After
Imelda tells Tulio that he needs her forgiveness and she needs his forgiveness,
she tells him that the only one who is really going to forgive them both is God.]
In the carpentry shop,
Gabriel shows Dave the long-legged spider, one of the first of Dani’s toy collection. When Dave just looks at
it, Dani comes over and asks if he doesn’t like it. Gabriel comments that of
course he likes it since it was made by experts, but Dani knows something is
wrong and assumes that Dave is worried about Julieta…which he confirms. When
Dani assures him that he and his little sibling will be fine, Dave agrees
though everyone else says it won’t be fine…and because when the baby arrives
everyone will forget about him. After Gabriel asks why he thinks that, Dave
explains that the baby will be born from Julieta and he wasn’t…and the baby
won’t have my scars. Dani sits Dave on her lap and tells him that the baby was
not chosen because he was special; the baby was the one that came like in a
raffle. She then tells Dave that he was chosen from among all the children...Robert and Julieta met him and knew he was the best. Dani then shares that she
always felt different from the rest; and Gabriel agrees that is true and yet he
chose her among all the women…because she is the best, even with her crewcut/hair. Gabriel adds that the only thing Dave has to do is allow himself
to be loved. Dani interjects that he also needs to consider that Robert and
Julieta love him; and they will love him for the rest of their lives.

Mi marido tiene familia Monday 1/8/18 Capitulo 98: New Beginnings and Fresh Starts--OR--Imelda's Apology Tour
We pick up with Robert telling the doctor that Julieta cannot be pregnant. Julieta does not understand if she cannot have children. The doctor says that he said the chances of her getting pregnant would be minimal but not impossible. They do need to know, however, that the pregnancy is high risk for the mother and the baby.
Daniela and Marisol continue talking to a still sobbing Linda. Daniela wants her to take this time to think about herself. Marisol wants her to know that her sisters are there for her and she can always count on them. They want her to believe in herself, see the good in herself, and love herself.
The doctor continues with instructions on how Julieta can carry the baby to term. She is going to need constant medical checkups and absolute rest: so she will not be working. She will also need a cervical cerclage to strengthen the cervix. As they leave the doctor’s office Robert and Julieta are ecstatic realizing what a miracle they have been given. the facts tonight due to minor computer issues
Santiago
was served with a summons to family court for a petition for custody
of Benjamín. He closed the door on the bailiff.
At
the same moment Miriam sneered at Raquel that she was the stupidest
woman to think that Miriam would make this deal with her. She told
her that Santiago was being served with the document at that very
moment. Further that it was a situation of today the baby, tomorrow
the business. After she swept out of the room Raquel looked Rueda in
the eye, accusing him of planning this all along. His response?
“I
do what my client asks me to do.”
Raquel,
having already told him that this was a very low thing to do, left
the room. Andres followed her, saying that he didn't expect this to
turn out this way. Raquel didn't accept this, saying that he is
playing her and Miriam against each other for his own advantage. She
refused to speak to him any further on this and left the office.

Julio is at the casino and has just won so he takes a swig.
Meanwhile, Juana prays to St. Jude (Dr. Parrot must be on the farm spreading
his wings…or has been sent out to look for Julio, we can't trust Juana with a
drone, can we?) asking that nothing bad happened to Don Julio. She thinks it’ll
be enough when he finds out his son was near death and they had to amputate his
leg. Juana asks that St. Jude protect Julio where ever he is…and whatever the
motive was for him to disappear, that he be forgiven. Juana you may want to
reconsider that forgiven part.
Luisa and Finito arrive at their home as Finito comments that
he thinks Benito made up the story about going to see Nabor. Luisa wonders why
he thinks that since Benito and Nabor have been friends for a long time. Finito
questions the comments Benito made, but Luisa thinks he shouldn’t make a big
deal of it; he should consider the source. Finito insists that Benito was
insinuating something…and Benito couldn’t stop looking at Luisa. When Luisa
thinks Benito was just trying to rile up Finito and suggests Finito ignore it,
Finito smiles and agrees…it’s not worth getting upset with each other. After
Finito decides to go rest and tells Luisa he will wait for her, Luisa thinks he
may want some action and wonders what she should do. (Is she concerned that in
the heat of passion she will get her Bs and Fs mixed and call him Benito?)

Mi marido tiene familia Friday 1/5/18 Capítulo 97: The Truth Makes Itself Known
Ana, waiting for the ambulance, thinks back on deceiving Blanca all of those years and everybody’s reaction to her when they found out she was responsible for taking Juan Pablo. In tears, Blanca asks Ana not to die.
Julieta talks to Luz and says that she is feeling a little bit better eventhough it is clear that she is exhausted. Julieta blames it on not having had breakfast. Luz isn’t buying it and thinks she should go see the doctor or at least contact Robert. Luz says that Julieta really gave her a scare. Yawning, Julieta tries to still blame it on not having eaten breakfast. It is nothing. Really. After Luz leaves, Julieta has a hard time staying awake.
Marisol and Xavi talk. She asks why he wants to to throw everything away when his career is taking off. He doesn’t want to throw it away but wonders what good it is if he has nobody to share his fame with. Marisol sees their relationship as having to be only professional what with people so involved in news about him and scandals. Xavi does not give a damn about what people think. She and Frida are the most important things in his life. He is not going to stop loving her. He is willing to win her heart again.

Caer En Tentacion #55, 1/5/18: Benji is a Pawn in Miriam’s Diabolical Game
NOTE: Today's episode was all in the present time
Andres tries to convince Raquel to go home to rest. Raquel does not
want to because she wants to stay with Mia. She asks Andres if Miriam is going
to fight for custody of Benjamin. He confirms that she is, but tells Raquel
that there may be something that can keep her from proceeding.
Bebo goes looking for Jose Fumeneces. He finds him and asks him to help
him to prove that Nacho was at home the night Carolina was murdered. Jose tells
him that he made many pizza deliveries and it would be hard to remember but
Bebo reminds him that the night in question he delivered a pizza and he was
jumped and Nacho helped to scare the robbers away. Jose does remember that
night and will go with Bebo to see if he remembers Nacho.
Raquel goes to Santi where he tells her that they found the gun that killed Carolina
and it has a fingerprint that they are analyzing. He also informs her that
Nacho found the possible alibi in the pizza delivery man. Raquel then tells
Santi that Miriam is already starting to fight for custody. Santi goes insane
and says that he will not allow anyone to take Benji away from him. He will do
things his way from now on and all Raquel can do is tell him to check with her
before he does anything.

Enamorándome de Ramon; Capítulo 111, Friday, January 5, 2018; Two singing birds and an amputee
We
begin where we left off yesterday as Os is bitten by the viper, Rulo not
knowing what to do, who finally leaves Os who is in a great deal of pain, in
the stream to fend for himself.
Andrea
arrives at Antonio’s just as he is arriving home. She explains that Julio is in
charge of the money that her parents left for her, but the truth is because of
his behavior of late, she doesn’t trust him. So she asks Antonio to go through
the expenses with her because she just doesn’t like Julio’s attitude after dealing
with trying to help out Medfer’s expenses when they were shut down. Then she
mentions that she remembered that Julio also sold Os’ car and lied about it,
saying that it was stolen instead. Antonio nods and agrees to help, but also
lets her know that he has never gotten along with Julio and did not like the
idea of having to confront him like this. She asks if he wants to think about
it and he says, “There is nothing to think about. You can count on me.”

Caer en Tentacion #54, 1/4/18: The Secret Not Even Santiago Knew

A tearful Carolina confesses to Damian that it was her father who attempted the violation. He used to fondle her inappropriately when he got drunk. At the same time he would beat Vicente unmercifully. He never beat her. In fact, when he wasn't drunk, he was nice to her. He treated her like a princess. One night he showed up drunker than usual and it was obvious to both young siblings that he intended to attack Caro sexually. Vic intervened. He knocked out the dad and later dragged him away. His body was found in the river the next day. Everyone assumed he fell in because he was drunk. He did it to save her.
At Raquel's house, meanwhile, she and Santi continue their heart-to-heart talk about--who else, Caro. Santi feels Caro deserves someone better than he--he's just a simple man with an ordinary life and an ordinary household. Raq tries to dispel his impression by using the same words on him that three years later he would use with her, "If you could see yourself the way I do, from my perspective, you would see yourself differently. You are a man of great accomplishment."

Mi Marido Tiene Familia #96, 1/4/2018: Love Abounds for the Young and the Not so Young

Julieta and Robert are alone on the beach while Dave is happily playing soccer with the other kids. Julieta is so happy having a family. Robert is happy that finally they are fulfilling one of their dreams. Julieta says that she never thought that all of this would have happened just by moving into that apartment. Robert adds ‘and that he would find his family.’ Julieta adds a great family it is. She admits she is just kidding. He asks if she is sorry about him having found his family. No, because if he had not found them, they probably would not be where they are today. She asks if he is sorry for having married her. How could he be sorry if he is more in love than ever? Robert and Julieta go over their whole wedding ceremony and reception in their heads as we see a montage of scenes. Robert proclaims that tonight is their honeymoon. Julieta agrees and says that she is happier with him every day. Robert doesn’t want it to ever end. Julieta says it has just begun. They do their “imán” thing and kiss.

The doctors try to revive Porfirio’s body but he flatlines and they call the time of death.
In the waiting area, Margarita can’t calm down because they have no news on Porfirio. Just then, the doctor comes out and tells him the sad news: Porfirio has passed away. Margarita breaks down crying in Antonio’s arms, incredulous that her beloved friend has died.
Ramon goes to see Julio in his office to pick up the money. He thanks Julio as the money will help him fix the pending cars, so they can get paid, but Julio ignores him as he doesn’t know anything about cars. Ramon, slightly dejected, bids him goodbye as Jessica walks in to tell him his appointment is there but Julio can’t see her and orders Jessica to call his accountant to deposit the money he asked for his taxes. Jessica obliges and leaves.
Ramon calls Fabiola to tell him that he got the money, but he confesses that Julio was insufferable. Fabiola can’t understand why but they both assume he’s stressed because of Osvaldo. Ramon then hangs up when he receives a call from Antonio, who reveals that Porfirio has passed away and he can’t pass by the hostel. Ramon gives him his condolences and then hangs up and calls Fabiola back to tell her what happened. Fabiola is shocked to hear Porfirio has passed as well.

Caer En Tentacion #53, 1/3/18: Who Needs Therapy the Most?
You guys, am I the only one that gets depressed after watching this show? I feel like *I* need therapy! Below is your recap with bullets:
- Mia is out of surgery, the operation was difficult and she needed blood transfusions, but at least she's not dead, yay?
- Santiago is trying to comfort a distraught Raquel, she blames herself for being distracted by her relationship with him and not paying enough attention to Mia and her issues. Uh, someone needs to remind Raquel that Mia's issues are not something new.
- Miriam is seething, she vows revenge on Raquel not only for the slap but for flaunting her relationship with Santiago.
- Andres tries to tell Mimi that the most important thing now is for Mia to get better, Miriam tells him that the only way for that to happen is for Raquel to be dead.
- Raquel pays a visit to Damian and tells him that he ruined their family and that if something happens to Mia she will kill him.

Mi marido tiene familia Wednesday 1/3/18 Capítulo 95: Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?
Blanca answers Eugenio: yes, she wants to to be Eugenio’s novia again. They kiss and keep dancing.
Linda goes to see Catalina’s psychic. She says that he told her that she was going to be experiencing her best time with her love Bruno. The psychic reiterates that the planets do not lie. Linda wants to know what the obstacle is that they are going to have to overcome. The psychic just says that the problem in Linda's and her boyfriend’s relationship is in themselves. That is not what Linda wanted to hear.
Frida tells Marisol that her father called and wants to see her. She told him she had to ask her mother first and he got angry saying that he was her father and he did not have to ask permission to see her. Marisol asks her is she wants to see him. Frida doesn’t know because she afraid of her dad taking her away and her never seeing her or Marisol again. Marisol explains that he cannot take her away because there is an agreement in the divorce that Frida stays with her and if her father does not fulfill his part of the agreement, he will have to deal with the judge. Frida is still not sure.
Still with the psychic, Linda is crying. He reminds her that he does charge by the hour. She knows and does not care. How can the problem be Bruno and her? He needs to consult the planets again. Maybe they made a mistake. The psychic assures her that they never make a mistake and that they will overcome their obstacle. He offers her a love spell for a real deal but Linda leaves declaring that she may be desperate but not deranged.

Enamorandome de Ramon #109 1.3.18: Untraceable Dumdums & Untimely Deaths
Osvaldo throws Rulo’s phone down to the ground and chides him for talking to Dalia by himself when they agreed to do it together. Rulo warns him to not cross because Dalia is his woman and she would never betray him. Dalia calls Rulo again but he doesn’t answer this time.
At the station, Dalia and the detectives deduce that Rulo and his cohorts are having problems from the little they heard. Either way, they still don’t know where they are, and the call didn’t last long enough to pinpoint it. Dalia swears she heard Osvaldo on the call when he stopped Rulo from telling him their location. The detectives suggest they give Rulo some time to call back as he probably won’t answer know.
Ramon goes to visit Fabiola to tell her that they were able to get some parts, but the rest are very expensive, and they need more money. They agree to call Andrea after to dinner, so they can ask her for more money. Just then, Juana comes from out the kitchen and they fill her in on the latest news.

Andres finds Mia bleeding on the bathroom floor. He screams for Miriam. One look and Screamin' Mimi starts running around in circles asking "--What do we do?" (Try calling an ambulance-Duh!) Later they've called a private physician? to make a house call. He brings up another "S" word: Suicide. (The mental state of Miriam and Family is not lookin' so good when it comes to custody.) Will the doctor allow himself to be bribed into silencio instead of notifying the policia? He's got to get back to saving Mia's life. Leave that for later, ok?

Enamorandome de Ramon #108, 1/2/18: Dalia sets a Trap for the Trio of Tontos but it’s not working.
Porfirio let’s Antonio know that the police has frozen his assets while
they investigate if the money was legitimately earned. Antonio is upset because
not having access to his funds limits what he can do to continue paying his
workers. Porfirio then breaks the bad news that his shop will not be allowed to
open during the investigation; also he may lose his shop if they prove it was
bought with illegal funds. Antonio says that the shop was but by Ricardo and
himself with work money.
Julio’s phone rings but he is in the shower, Juana picks it up and it
is Julio’s secretary Jessica she is about to give Juana a message when Noe
pushes the speaker button and interferes by saying that it is about his debt.
Jessica hangs up and tells him he can’t do that, he says she can’t tell him
what to do. Julio comes out of the room and sees Juana with his cell, he says
“what are you doing with my phone?” Juana explains that she answered because it
was from his office and that Jessica did not even leave a message because
someone interrupted about a debt. “What else did you hear?” “No nothing else
because the call was dropped.” Julio grabs the phone away from Juana very
rudely and Juana is visibly upset but just walks away. He dials the phone, clueless as to how he just treated Juana.

Mi Marido Tiene Familia #94, 1/2/2018: Frisky Business
[Beginning
with a big portion of the previous ending, courtesy of Jarifa: Marisol is
arguing with Ignacio and wonders if he really wants to start a war with the mother of his child who he
cheated on. If he wants a war, she will win it for Frida’s sake.
In the bakery, Eugenio is showing Robert Sr. and Grace his famous “pan
de frijol” and Julieta’s “pan imán” that she invented when she proposed to
Robert. Robert tastes the bread, declares it delicious and feeds Grace a piece
of it as they join hands. Eugenio asks how long they have been married. Grace
says many, many years. Robert Sr. adds for many lives. They want to spend all
the lives they have left together. Robert Sr. kisses Grace’s hand. Eugenio
remarks that they always seem to have just fallen in love. How is that? Robert Sr. explains
it is because love is something that you create day by day. He surprises his
adored wife whenever he can. Grace just smiles. She mentions the little gifts,
the games, the smiles, the changes the kisses. Robert ends up mentioning and
demonstrating the little pinch sometimes on the derrière. Grace tells Robert
Sr.to behave but not too much as Robert Sr. kisses Grace’s arm. Eugenio is left
with an eyeful and many thoughts.
Blanca and Julieta talk in the hallway. It seems that the Cooper’s visit is affecting Blanca; she admits that she feels shaken by it and is also angry. Blanca feels displaced because Robert is so much more like his adoptive parents, the Cooper’s; and she and Eugenio live a life of routines.]

Eugenio and Blanca step up and offer their room to the Cooper’s. Robert Sr. tries to get them all to understand that he just does not want to put anyone out. Julieta suggests that they can split their time between the house and the hotel. Grace has a word aside with Robert. She reminds him how she and Robert Sr. like to be independent. She is having a problem with them being so insistent. She does not want to be rude but they already booked the hotel. Robert explains how sensitive his family is and if they reject them, it is going to be a big deal. Grace asks what to do. Robert says just stay with them at the house. Robert will do all that he can so it goes well. Robert Sr. can go to the gym and she can go running with Julieta. She would love to but Robert and Julieta need their space. He is sure they all can get along well and she is not going to be staying there forever and ever and ever. Grace starts to smile and tells Robert that he always makes her laugh. He says that the Córcega’s are very kind.
Tavo talks with Ana about her keeping up with her yoga as a way of keeping her depression under control.
Audifaz has a conversation with Tulio. Audifaz does not like to see him like he is looking so sad and depressed. He wants Tulio to know he is there for him. Tulio does not think he deserves anyone’s support. Audifaz knows he has made a lot of mistakes but the important thing is to really be sorry from his heart and to solve those situations. Tulio does not want to see Ana anymore and does not know how to get out of the castle that he built for her.

told Santiago “I am here to see my grandson”, which he was
understandably suspicious of. Nicolás' cell began ringing and it
was Alina. Miriam was stubborn, knowing that she was not welcome in
the Alvarado house. Raquel tried to calm things down. Mia took her
grandmother's side, saying that the baby was her father's child.
Santiago did not allow Miriam to be alone with the baby, telling Lola
to accompany her upstairs. Federico was annoyed with Mia, asking her
why she was taking Miriam's side. She answered that it was because
she was her grandmother and because “Our father isn't here because
he's in the hospital and it's all Carolina's fault.” This offended
Nicolás and Mia asked “What does that make us, stepsiblings?”

Enamorándome de Ramón, #107, 1/1/2018: The Three Amigos on the Run OR Too Stupid to Know They’re Stupid
[Previously: Everyone is toasting Julio and Juana when two cops come in to
arrest Antonio for drug trafficking.] Antonio quickly stands up insisting that
they are making a mistake; and Marg asks to see the warrant. After reviewing
it, Marg gives Antonio a “you’re S-O-L” look; so the cops cuff him as Antonio
asks where they could have gotten such an idea. The arresting cop explains how
they received an anonymous tip; and when they went to conduct a search at his
business, they found a large amount of drugs. Diego cries and holds on to
Antonio as Juana grabs Diego and Fabi shouts that they will have to take her
too, since she is part owner of the shop. After Antonio tells Fabi not to worry
because this is his problem, the cops take him away.

Mi Marido Tiene Familia Friday 12/29/17 Capítulo 92: “Thank You for Loving My Son” . . . Maybe --OR--Imelda the Mouth
Robert explains that Dave’s biological mom has decided that the best for Dave is to stay with them. His mother will be able to come to visit him, and he her whenever they want. Yes, Dave does want to live with them until they are good and old. Bruno asks Dave if he missed his snoring. No. The next thing that is heard is Dave’s growling stomach. He is hungry because Robert bought him only a sandwich. Bruno offers him some pizza but Julieta makes Dave wash his hands first. Dave apologizes for going with his mother. Julieta tells him that she understood that he had to see his mother and that he has every right in the world to continue seeing her. As Bruno helps Robert move in Dave’s things, he says he now understands why Robert and Julieta are the perfect couple because they settled everything by talking. Julieta was all furious and Robert was calm and conciiatory. Robert thinks that couples have to make their way complementing each other. Robert then asks how things are going with his sister Linda. Bruno says perfect that the relationship is going along. She came to visit him at school after all. Robert senses some ambivalence and fishes for more information. Bruno tells him he can breathe easily that Linda is not involved with a serial killer. Robert warns him that if he hurts her, he will have to deal with him or his father’s scissors. Bruno swears not to hurt her and thinks maybe it is better to get Dave’s things moved in because Dave is waiting to eat supper. Robert just laughs.

Enamorándome de Ramon, Capítulo 106, Friday, December 29, 2017; Antonio gets Arrested!
We open
with yesterday’s ending: “In the
church, in front of the priest, Luisa and Finito both accept their promise to
love each other faithfully. The priest then asks if anyone has any reason to
stop the wedding as Adalgiza walks in and looks at them…”
Finito looks back too, and Finito’s assistant
(can’t remember his name) also looks back, gets up and spirits Ada away and out
of the church. She cries and tells him she loves Finito, but he tells her that
when you love someone you wish them well. She finally walks away. Luisa and
Finito take their kiss as husband and wife and everyone congratulates them.
Finito gives his assistant a big hug and thanks him.

Caer En Tentacion #50, 12/29/17: De tal palo tal astilla, or in other words, the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. And in Mia’s case the tree is Miriam.
Santi tells Raquel that it is not that he mistrusts her but he is going
crazy, many things are happening and they want to take his son away. He can’t
tolerate the thought of losing Benji and also losing her. “Benji is mine, I
don’t care what a paper says, and then to lose you, forgive me” “you hurt me
Santi” He tells her he is sorry and that he is destroyed, and to lose her he
would not know what to do. “Sorry, sorry” and then gets close to her and they
kiss.
Miriam says that she will not fight for a son that was born outside of
the marriage. Rueda and Andres try to convince Miriam that she can fight for
custody of Benjamin, and at the same time she would hurt Santi.Fede goes to the Alvarado’s to visit Benji and says that since Benja is his brother that makes them family. Lola says that is not the fact. Fede just says that he had a desire to see Benjamin and that everyone will take care of him like they always have.

Santi is on the phone with Raquel. He suggests angrily that she is capable of taking Benji away from him and he's not going to let that happen. Raquel is astonished by his attitude. How could he think something like that of her. Santi claims that Damian ruined his life and he wouldn't put it past that family to try. Raq insists she's not like Dam's family and reminds him that Carolina had a major part in this game of betrayal. If Raq and Santi couldn't stop them it was because they were cowards and were blind and deaf to what was going on while those two mocked them. So yes, she's guilty, guilty of trusting someone who didn't deserve it. They hang up on each other, knowing they've said some very hurtful things to each other.
Fede observes his mother while SinCin tries to give Santi a break--having just learned about Benji's parentage. She avers, though, that once Miriam finds out, she will be sure to take advantage. Now, Raq realizes that, too.

Mi Marido Tiene Familia #91, 12/28/2017: From the Depths of a Mother’s Heart
[Previously: Julieta
worries that Dave’s mother might sell or hurt him to get money; she would never
forgive herself if something happened to Dave. Robert asks Julieta to calm
down, but Julieta refuses to do so—she is not going to just cross her arms; she
will not have a moment of peace knowing that he is in the hands of a woman who
doesn’t want him. If she has to send his mother to jail, she will do it.]
At Paraíso Oaxaqueño (the same two-bit, rat-infested
motel where Gabriel stayed), Dave wonders if he will be able to go see Robert
and Julieta. Yela remarks, “It they want, they can do something.” When Dave
asks her if she loves him, Yela replies that it’s not that she doesn’t love
him; life has been very hard on her. Dave’s father left her and she had to care
for Dave by herself. Dave asks if his father was bad, but Yela doesn’t even
want Dave to talk about him; his father didn’t even show up when their house
burned down. After Dave reproaches that she left him because he was burned, Yela
prefers to watch her TV program.

Ramon then decides not to enter the court with them but offers Fabiola is full support in spirit. They kiss again and then Fabiola leaves with her lawyers.
Julio comes out of the bank with Juana and Andrea, hoping they can all go to the bank to present the POA, but Juana wants to check on Fabiola and the bachelorette party preparations. Julio shrugs, as he also wanted to take them to lunch, but they decide to go together on Monday.

Margarita states that they will buy it and Francisco asks them for 5 million even if it only cost 3 million when they bought it. Francisco explains that the clinic has gained equity, but everyone knows he’s just stalling. Caer en Tentacion #48, 12/27/17: Damian, you are the daddy!
- Nicolas gets a call from Federico telling him that Mia has flown the coop, poor Fede is uber upset but in his place I'd be throwing a party because it's not like Mia is pleasant to be around.
- Nico tells Federico that Benjamin is not Santiago's son, Fede later breaks the news to his mom.
- Lola is a hot mess, she can't imagine not having little Benjamin around.
- Nicolas tells Lola and Santi that he spilled the beans and told Federico about the DNA test, they blow up at him- the plan was to keep things quiet in order to be one step ahead of the Becker's.
- Santiago wants Nicolas to call Alina so that she can find a way to help them keep custody of Benjamin, but Nico freezes and wont call her,
- Nicolas tells Lola that the only one to blame for her anguish is their mother, she blew up their family.

Daniela and Linda chat at the carpentry shop. Daniela agrees with Julieta that Linda and Bruno are young and that they should decide what to do with their lives. Daniela asks if she is going to be one of those women who is only looking for a husband. Linda says no. Linda would like to marry Bruno in the future. She is really really in love with him. Daniela thinks that Linda needs to find a hobby or something she is passionate about doing. Linda is worried about the obstacles the psychic described. Daniela tells Linda that she got what she wanted: Bruno, so, she should relax and enjoy her relationship she has now.
Marisol talks to Frida who is unable to concentrate. Frida asks her why people are saying that Xavi ruined their family. She heard about it from her friends on the bus and it is on the internet. Marisol tries to explain that sometimes people are jealous when other people are happy so they try to ruin that happiness. Frida asks who did it.

Caer En Tentacion #47, 12/26/17: And The Winner Is.....
⦁ The happy family, the worrisome threesome, makes a great Kodak moment in Telenovelaland. Again, Damian insists that this child is his against Carolina's slight protests. He asks her to promise she'll let the child remain close by and let him be a part of the boy's life somehow and he'd like her to name the boy Benjamin. They kiss and coo till Raquel's call crashes the family party. Raq (late to this party) is excited that Santiago has told her that Caro's baby is near to dropping and can they please reconsider hanging with the Alvarado's. Dam plays dumb ("--Ya don't say!!") and then lies that he's in a bidnes meeting and cannot talk. "--Later, Love." There's more cooing and then Nico calls and Caro explains she's at a different hospital since things happened so fast she didn't have time to get to her own. Santi (sadly, even later to this party) heads for the other hospital. Dam takes his tearful leave of his new loved ones and hides behind a pillar as the supplanted Santi and Nico head for the front entrance and to the maternity ward.

to meet Marta. A while later Roxana calls the police again and tells them that
she is desperate to have someone come arrest Daniel. Daniel comes out of the
church and sees Roxana. Points a gun at her and tells her that she will pay for
having called the police on him.
New Scenes
Police sirens are heard approaching the church, as a police car gets to
the scene Daniel tells the officers not to get any closer or he will blow
Roxana’s head off. He then forces her to get in the car and he takes off to try
and get away from the police. Roxana pleads with him to let her go and not to
hurt her anymore, he hurt her enough when she went to jail because of him.
Daniel tells her to shut up or he will shoot her. The police continue their
pursuit. A tractor cuts the police off and Daniel gets a bigger distance
between him and the police but down the road there is a police car parked in
the middle of the road. When Roxana sees them she takes the wheel and forces
the car off the road. They crash against the side of a hill and Daniel is killed instantly.
The officer Nicolas Esquivel calls the police in Mexico to let them know that
Daniel has died and that Roxana Herrera Rubio is on her way to the hospital.

Mi Marido Tiene Familia #89, 12/26/2017 A Mother’s Rights Can Be So Wrong
[Previously, Robert is on
the phone with his adoptive parents when Dave’s mother, Yela, appears and tells
him she is ready to talk about Dave.] After Robert tells Leonor to go tell the
patient he will be there shortly, Robert tells Yela that they kept looking for
her, but she never responded. Yela replies that there were too many problems, but
Robert emphasizes that there is no excuse…nothing can excuse her for abandoning a son. After Robert wonders if she knows how much David suffered
because of her, Yela nods and cries that she knew and asks what she could do if
her situation was so complicated. Robert reminds her that he was going to help her
and so was the foundation, yet she turned her back on David and left him. Yela
admits that Robert has every reason to reproach her; she left because she was a
coward. She is there to listen to all he has to say. When Robert asks if she
knows what has been happening with David, Yela nods and tells him she just came
from the orphanage. She is very happy that her David is with such a good person
as Robert. Robert then informs her that he and his wife are about to complete
the process to adopt Dave; they waited for her to see if she would contest the
termination of parental rights. Yela has no complaint, but she wants to ask a
favor—to see David…for just a moment; though she knows she doesn’t have a right
to anything.

Robert tells him he doesn’t have to take off his suit now if he does not want to. Next, Dave doesn’t want to go to the supper with the family. He wants to stay behind and watch tv. Robert and Julieta do not agree on what to do.
Amalia tells Belén and Hugo Jr. she is leaving the shop to go have supper with Enzo at his place. Belén reminds her to make sure she demands respect. Amalia says after fifty year of demanding respect maybe it is time to lose a little of it or a lot. Hugo Jr. sees Amalia as “daring”. Belén just laughs.
Audifaz thanks Aristóteles and is proud of him for organizing the get together with Polita and her mother. Today he knows that parents should never force their children to do what they want. Aristóteles says he is also proud of him. His new brother will have the best parents on the world.

Caer en Tentacion #45, 12/22/17; One of the twins dies, no not those twins!

Raquel comes back into the office, Cynthia tells her that she lied to her, that she never does anything right, but she wants to do things right, she is just sick. Raquel says “ok tell me what you did” Cynthia begins to panic and says “I, I, I stole the jewelry, sorry Raquel I did it” Raquel looks shocked.

At the office Raquel, Azucena and Mia are Discussing Nacho Azucena says
that he always seemed to be a good man.
Raquel also says that Mia had gotten him in trouble before over a
tantrum. Cynthia then arrives she has to talk to Raquel, but Raquel says she
has no time for her antics. Raquel and Azucena leave and Cynthia asks Mia why
Raquel is acting like that, Mia then tells her that it’s because the police
have now found the man who stole Damian’s jewelry. Cynthia asks who, and Mia
tells her that it is the son of a construction worker that did work at the
house
Rueda states that Bebo is now in Jail, and that they will probably drag
Santi into it. Andres is glad because now he does not have to worry anymore as
per their plan. Miriam wants Rueda's to make sure the case continues until

Mi marido tiene familia Friday 12/22/17 Capítulos 86 & 87: Mothers, Bullies and Forgiveness
DISCLAIMER: If parts of the recap make no sense it is not this recapper's fault. This "combo platter" of 86 & 87 could have been better edited or not edited at all . . . but I will not go down that tired track again. I have recapped what Univision deigned to give us to watch and I have included plenty of my own observations labelled as such in the text.
We pick up the story as Blanca enters her English class. She asks if it is "Basic English". One of the guys in class asks if they are going to have two teachers. All of the students laugh. Blanca scowls. (Observation: I would not want to cross the new and improved Blanca.)
The next thing we know . . .
Robert and Julieta have returned to the classroom with Dave to explain Dave’s situation to the students. They explain David's story and how accidents can happen to anyone, etc. He is just like all of them and likes to do the same things. Diana chimes in on how the principal, she and all of the teachers are there to support him. If there are any problems, their parents will have to be contacted. . . Dave is thrown back in with the sharks as all of the adults think that everything is hunky-dory fine and one brat from the group actually says to David that they didn't want to make him feel bad. (Observation: It was really a great PSA and even though this makes total sense to mature adults, the kids basically pay them lip service nodding and agreeing while the little brats in the group are already planning on how to use this info against Dave. "Parents being contacted" is going to stop them from having some good old bullying fun in the here and now??? . . . don't think so).)

Enamorándome de Ramon; Capítulo 101, Friday December 22, 2017; Hortensia Blackmails Francisco into dropping charges, but Fabiola gets stabbed in jail

because yesterday was only one episode and he had all this leftover recap
(great stuff!) because he thought Thursday was going to be another double
episode into one. I’m posting this for him, but adding the screenshots. Thank

Julio
tells Hortensia that she has everything she needs to take care of herself and
storms off. Once alone, Hortensia declares that she is still the head of the
family and she will be respected until the end of her days on earth.
The
detectives show Francisco the security tape of Dario, but the detectives think
there are too many inconsistencies in his statement as he first said it was
Ramon, then that he was confused and now he seems to recognize him. Carlos
reminds the detective that it’s not his job to judge and the detective nods,
but he finds it strange that Francisco also has no idea who the man who
attacked him is, especially because said man went only to his apartment, didn’t
take anything, and only attacked him. Francisco tells them that it’s their job
to figure out his attacker’s motive and the detective tells him not to worry as
they will find out what it is. Francisco looks like nervous wreck at this
point.

something, he replies, “You!” Blanca purrs and they walk away hand-in-hand.
At Julieta’s, Julieta
tells Robert that the decision as to whether Dave can be with them has been
made. When she asks Robert if he is alright, Robert admits he isn’t; he’s very
nervous. He was adopted and never thought life would put him in this situation.
Julieta is nervous too; she never imagined this, but together they can handle
everything.

Hortensia plans to institutionalize Andrea because she is no longer safe in her apartment. She then goes to put away the groceries.
Sofia calls Dalia, who chides her for not being present when things need to be paid, but Sofia wants to know about Ramon. Dalia goes to answer when Rosendo walks in and takes the phone away from her. He reminds her that the police are after her and she can’t have contact with the outside world or they will find him. Sofia doesn’t think things should be that way, but Rosendo could care less and storms off.
Ramon calls Juana, who can’t help but worry about the Medina sisters, and then asks him how it went with Cuellar. Ramon tells her about Cuellar’s plan, but Juana doesn’t think it’s a good idea because he should just let Sofia and her father go. Ramon has already accepted though and he explains that they only need to tap his phone, so they can trace Sofia’s location and her father’s since they are likely together. Juana would rather talk to Pedro, but Ramon asks her to leave him be and then asks about Andrea. Juana confesses that she is still missing, and Jorge is distraught. They both agree that Andrea shouldn’t broken up with him in person before hanging up. Dalia then arrives and tells Ramon that Sofia hasn’t come to work for two days and the garage is likely to go under soon. Ramon feels bad, but he suggests she find another job, as hard as it will be, before she’s left with nothing.

Damian is finishing his lunch with his children and giving them a cock 'n bull story about how he and Raq are going to solve their problems--alone. Mia objects that they should be included as they are a family and have their own problems that need to be addressed. Loudly she says everyone treats her as though she is crazy, but she's not. Dam makes her sit down and stay until they are done so as not to cause a scandal.
Juan's mother, Luisa, shows up at the Alvarado house. She begs Caro not to report Juan to the police. She promises to get Juan psychological help. She tells them that his father beat him. Caro tells her to make sure Juan stays away from Lola or she will go to the police.
Miriam shows up in Dam's office, eager to get him out of the hotel (and unstated, back to her waiting arms and home). He announces he's not going to separate from Raq. Miriam is none to happy to hear that and more when he refuses to discuss his personal affairs with her. She tells him she's not going to let him ruin his life with a fling that's gotten out of hand.
Raq is at the catering office. Andres shows up. He hints that he likes one of the girls working there. Since he can't have Raquel, he must look elsewhere. She tells him to stop sniffing around her office. He comes out and says that whenever he sees her, all desire for anyone else disappears. She's disgusted with him and tells him to leave. If she had not showed up, she never would have found out. He should have told her. She no longer trusts him. He wants to invest all of his money in the carpentry business when he doesn’t even have enough to live on as he is accustomed to.

When he went to open it, Ramon attacked him and threatened to kill him unless he removed the adultery charge against Fabiola. He wrestled Ramon to the ground and went to go get a gun in his bedroom, to fire a warning shot, but Ramon attacked him again and hit him various times in the head. Caer En Tentacion #42, 12/19/17: Stuck In A Rut
• Mia’s self-satisfied, seeing that she’s ruined the relationship between Santiago and her mother. She checks with Federico to see if he’s still on board with her plan to put the brakes on Raquel and Santi’s relationship. He’ did his part in telling Mama he’s against her going to bed with Santiago. He’s got a life even if she doesn’t. He doesn’t feel like standing guard over Mama.
• Rueda pays a visit to Alina and threatens her personal and professional life if she doesn’t stop praying on younger boys. He’s going to make her pay for what she did to his kid. (What we’re not sure of is whether Rueda’s son did something drastic after she dumped him.)

Sofia informs Frank that Fabiola is not at Maggie’s house. Frank says “how do you know?” Sofia tells them that Ramon was there earlier and mentioned Fabi. “I guess that means she is with him”. He thanks Sofia and she says as long as you keep them apart I will be satisfied, and then Frank says “count on it” and smirks his extremely annoying smirk.

Julio gives Jorge a business card from the lab that can test the earth to check
toxicity levels. Then Julio asks if they have made up their mind about the
franchise. Andrea says that they have agreed to get the franchise but they want
Julio to administer it because they don’t know anything about franchises. Julio

Cassandra and Clarissa are hysterically giving Augusto the
bad news that Daniela says she is pregnant. They all act like it is the end of the
world! Gabriel sits on the bed with his bear and that dreaded mouse comes out
and scares him again. He calls Maritza and she says the mouse is just hungry.
Daniela cries with her sisters about what happened with
Gabriel. Marisol advises her to talk to him if she still loves him, but Daniela
is so angry she doesn’t want to talk to him and says she hates Gabriel now.

Mi marido tiene familia Monday 12/18/17 Capítulo 81: A Decision and a Set-Up
After the tuba oompah-pahs the intro . . .
Julieta is sure about adopting Dave for the right reasons. Robert tells her he is on board and they will get the adoption process going. Dave will have the best parents in the world.
Gabriel is trying to get ready for his date and is dealing with Marissa at the same time.
Clarissa pays Daniela a visit to tell her that Gabriel is cheating on her. Daniela throws her out but not before being told that Gabriel is going on a date with a beautiful friend and being left a card with the address of the restaurant they are meeting at.
Frida is not herself and Marisol tries to find out what is going on but Frida is not talking. Frida says it is just because she has a lot of homework. Marisol tells her about doing the Xavi video and wanting her to be the official choreographer. She also tells her that Xavi asked her to be novios. What does Frida think? Frida is not bothered by them being novios at all. She likes Xavi and the fact that they novios.
Aristóteles tells his parents about his modeling experience. He finally feels like he is good at something. They make him perform his lines for them. They are also excited he could memorize his lines with seeing them only once. Audifaz wants to go and celebrate. Polita has to remind him there is no food: with Blanca being gone the Tupperware is empty. Audifaz is insistent on them going out to celebrate.

Raquel
and Santiago acknowledged that they could not live without each other
and broke the kiss, but perhaps not in time to avoid being seen or
heard by Lola, who arrived carrying Benjamín. She excused herself,
saying she was going up to her room. Raquel became concerned about
her reaction, knowing that the possibility of a relationship with
Santiago was not welcome to her own children. She decided to leave,
and he asked her not to.
Lola
had barely put Benjamín on the bed when Juan called her on the heels
of several text messages.
“Can't
you leave me alone?” she answered.
“I
want to see you. Where are you? Where are you right now?” he
demanded to know.
“Are
you crazy? I don't want to see you again. You almost just killed
Bebo. This is insane.”

Episode 94: I’m Havin’ Your Baby…
At Luisa’s, Valente arrives and sees that
Ramón is looking at the classifieds and wonders if there aren’t openings for
two people. When Ramón questions him, Valente shares that he quit because he
just didn’t like it anymore…when Ramón was there it was different; and now with
the cops around, he doesn’t want to take any chances or have problems. Ramón
criticizes that Sofía only looks out for herself and shares that Sofía called
to tell him they had detained her and asked him to help her; but in reality,
they only took her in to get her statement. Just then Sofía calls,
but Ramón is annoyed and refuses to answer. He decides to go see his mother
instead.
At her apartment, Sofía calls Dalia to ask
if she told Ramón what she asked Dalia to tell him. Dalia confirms that she
did, but Ramón said Sofía should take care of things on her own. After Sofía
asks where Ramón is and Dalia doesn’t know, Sofía hangs up and mumbles that
Ramón won’t get rid of her that easily.

Caer en Tentacion #40, 12/15/17: Mia says “me first, me first”
Present time
Bebo offers to "take care" of Juan if he continues bothering Lola, she does not understand what he is referring to. At that moment, Juan attempts to kill Bebo by
running him over with his car. Lola goes to him and asks if he is ok. He is
fine but is worried about Lola because Juan is crazy, and he may kill her. They
hug each other.
Alina and Santiago discuss Nacho. Santi says that Nacho is
his friend but he has doubts because he knew that Damian and Carol with lovers.
He says he is confused, doesn’t know what to think, he even doubts himself too.
“I don’t know what I would have done if I had seen them in bed.” He Asks Alina
to tell him everything she knows about Nacho. So Alina explains that Nacho
hired her to help Bebo get out of his problems with the law. As they are
talking Nico sees them and is not happy but just leaves. Santi says “what
is wrong with my son?”
In jail Nacho asks Antonio and Godoy why he is being held, “how is
this possible?” He asks if Nacho was in town when Carol was murdered, “yes I
was”, and “did you know about the affair” “yes I knew” and Antonio asks why
does the shovel that was found near the accident have his DNA. “This is a trap
I will not say anything until I talk to my attorney.”

Mi marido tiene familia Friday 12/15/17 Capítulo 80: Adoption, Any One?-OR-Deception, Any One?
Well, we are picking up with the confrontation between Tulio and Julieta (Ana is just sort of along for the ride) at the orphanage where he is asking her to clarify her being Dave’s “mother.” Julieta does not feel like she has to explain anything to Tulio. She asks if they want her to explain why they shouldn’t be there. Tulio has to say just one more time that they were not going to adopt “that” boy. Julieta tells him to be quiet and asks the orphanage director to get Dave out of there which he does. Tulio asks what kind of “show” she is putting on. Julieta informs them that if she wanted to she could go to the police and tell them everything Tulio and Ana have done. Don’t they realize that they are criminals? Finally, Ana comes to life to agree with Julieta and to try to persuade Tulio to just leave. Tulio wants to know what is stopping Julieta from telling all. Julieta does not want to hurt the family more than they have already been hurt. Tulio and Ana deserve the worst but the Córcega’s have suffered enough already. Tulio comes back with his usual lame comment about them having suffered, too. He asks if she is going to deny that his mother Imelda made her life impossible. Julieta understands that Ana suffered a lot because she could not have children. For that very reason, she thinks they should be more compassionate. Tulio tells Julieta that she is not going to run their lives or tell them what they can and cannot do. Julieta asks what about hurting an innocent child. How could they even have dared to talk to Dave like they did? He is a child who deserves love. Tulio asks if Julieta is going to be the one to give him that love. Is she going to adopt him? Julieta tells them to go. She turns around and walks towards the orphanage.
